Man.
I have loved this song ever since I was a very young kid and my dad and I would blast this song every day.
I love the fact that my favorite thing from 1997 is so beloved among a world so divided. I wish we could decide so many things based upon Everlong.
I was at this gig and this is the only live song performance I've ever cried during, it was so powerful. RIP Taylor
OMG, he’s beyond incredible. Breathtaking even through RUclips. Devastated I wasn’t of age to discover him for myself in his prime (which I think was his whole career. So grateful for the post and to know this is immortalised. Please post any and everything else- I want to ‘discover’ everything he’s done!
Rewatching this after he stood in the same spot playing this same song to honor taylor after his passing, hardly able to finish the lyrics, i cant help but find it heartbreaking...
Hands down the best live version of this song I've ever seen. One of the best songs ever written. Never gets old no matter how many times I hear it.
Hello there, good day to you,and it’s nice seeing you here
Crazy dude!
Hello there, good day to you,and nice seeing you here
RIP Taylor Hawkins… you were such an amazing one-of-a-kind drummer and we will miss you for the rest of our lifes.
RIP Taylor, I had the honor to see you perform live twice… you will be missed 😢
This Song is about us 😊
At this point, I've seen FF on five tours, and the 2008 tour is by far my favorite.
You just can't help but get goosebumps AND chills when you hear that opening riff. Hands down his best performance ever, in my opinion
One man in two of the greatest bands. What a life to lead.
I’ve listened to the foos for a long time but it’s just now I’m realizing how good of a singer Dave is
I've listened to this 100x, and it gives me chills every single time. Definitely the best version of this song, ever.
Thank you for existing and surviving Dave …we need you here
Lamento muito e muito por n poder ir assistir o show de vcs Em SP😛
Hello there, good day to you,and it’s nice seeing you here
Why does this song hit an emotional chord for me. Does anyone else feel something when they hear this and also the song my hero. Please respond/reply.
i feel the exact same.
@@tijass666 I know right. I can’t explain it.
God!!!! Yes!!!!!! I concur
yes, it does have that feeling :(
Dave said, "That song’s about a girl that I’d fallen in love with and it was basically about being connected to someone so much, that not only do you love them physically and spiritually, but when you sing along with them you harmonize perfectly."
This is why it hits an emotional chord because we can all relate to that feeling
I love how they chose to do such an intimate performance of this song - for Wembley Stadium. It's just so beautiful, inclusive, spiritual. I came to Everlong via Nandi Bushell and Rick Astley's versions so it's always been the live cuts that have drawn me in, not the studio version. This is 5 minutes of music from the Gods. Sublime perfection. I'll never tire of it.
I cry when I hear the Foo Fighters. He touches my soul I'm 64
Listen to all those beautiful people. In a moment we forget who we are, we forget all the resentments, all the stress and our hearts beat together. Feel so blessed to be able to enjoy the power of this music. Feels good man, feels good. Makes me want to be a better person.
Can't listen to this without crying 😢😢😢😢
RIP Taylor...
This song makes me feel things that cant explain.....
The chills when that riff starts though
