I just started getting back into this crazy world a little over a month ago. No clue what cards were what. Who belongs to what generations or how many there were. Only thing I knew was from Pokemon Go. I really appreciate your content on all your channels. Your pokemon go account led me to your card account and somehow fell into this account. I will say. I love how fully transparent you are with all the content on this channel. Especially the one when you recorded yourself for a day! Wow what a grind of a day and power to you. Just wanted to show some love because it is a crazy hectic world and you have made pokemon relevant in my life again I am all for the Nostalgia. Thanks Brandon and keep up the good work! -Danny
I stood behind you in line at card party. i was way too tired to socialize that early in the morning haha, but witnessed many kids come up to you. i just want to say thank you for interacting with them and making a huge impact on them with those interactions!
Thank you for making this video! It was very informative and inspiring. I decided to start selling on whatnot earlier this month and I sell Pokémon and Naruto Kayou cards! It’s been quite the journey so far, but loads of fun and I love being a part of a growing community! 🙏❤️🔥🍀
What's your whatnot? I'd be interested in checking it out! Also if you could, shoot me a message. I'd love to ask a few questions on getting started in the selling world!
Bro y'all are crazy. I would never sell my cards. Think about it. Even if I were mega rich from selling cards... all I'd be thinking about doing with my money is buying cards.
When u invest in a business and it’s going well ur able to have ur own personal collection when starting a business you can’t grow on the cards other wise you’ll never make sales
I got a very good vintage pokemon collection for my son in 1999-2000. We still have 1 seal 1st edition Team Rocket box, 2 boxes 1st edition single common and uncommon MINT cards, 1 English binder and 1 Japanese binders holos (many 1st edition) never played, just came straight out from the pack to the binders. We will decide to sell after July 4th if we met a good offer. If not, I’ll hold the collection for longer time.
You’re like the only poke expert I can trust on this stuff after seeing you on pogo first. Thanks for giving me the courage to start a side hustle. Cheers to TCG!
Love your channel(s) a lot man, been watching MYSTIC7 and Mystic Rips both since they started with pokemon go and pokemon cards, also really like this channel! You’re a huge inspiration to my love of pokemon and im glad to see you doing so well! Love your content and keep it up!
I was watching your whatnot back when it was just you and jake. i haven’t watched in awhile but it’s amazing seeing how far you’ve come i remember getting packs for 2 dollars and winning the bounty which would never happen anymore
Thank you for making this very helpful video Brandon 🔥 This gave me some great advice on how to sell my old Pokémon card collection when it eventually comes time!
Very Helpful video these tips are very helpful as I just started my own online store and I just want to thank you for clearing up some things I had in mind!!
It was really good to see you and your team, I had a really enjoyable time at card party! My name was Noah and i was the ginger guy with a black headband, Ashton, his sister and I talked to your brother for quite a bit about getting a sticker business up and running and selling cards as well. It was really enjoyable! Hope you guys had a good time as well Also, winning the giveaway there was surreal LMAO
I have a card shop near me where I get a discount when I bring duplicate cards in or whenever I bring them any sales or free advertisement so it’s pretty nice
Brandon - this is great! Keep it up! We run a small business (convention based but with cards too) and everything you said makes so much sense! Just started up on Whatnot and really enjoy it as a platform... Haven't done cards there - too much competition :) but its been lots of fun. Really looking forward to future strategy videos. Thanks for sharing - and boosting the community.
Awesome video Brandon. I actually started making pokemon tcg content online to eventually start a reselling business online. You and many others in the community inspired me!
Great vid! What I will say is the benefit of Ebay is it does cut the time you have to invest in all the other platforms. I think it's worth if you want just constantly move product and not really have to stress on finding customers.

Killing it my guy. Been watching pokemon investing on yt and im learning a lot. Thanks for the tips. P.S. didn't know your name was Brandon always referred to you as Mystic. And to think about it, you do look like a Brandon 😂😂😂
Also you have to remember simple unit economics. Even if you got 1m in yearly sales with a 10% raw margin, you only made 100k in profit. With that 100k you have to pay yourself (important!), storage, pre-stock etc. It's a long grind to make it worth a full time job.
I don’t know how this is in America, but in the Netherlands you sign up if you want to be a company on a national organization that then gives you access to distributors.

🔥 video fam. Do you have one for new new collectors like myself that is interested in the hobby and want to kno what to look for etc. like packs to buy if you see them or ETBs. And how to start your own stream and that kinda stuff. Keep up the dope work 🎉
was a pleasure! Definitely depends on the product and how much of it we buy. Like 2,000 packs of a set might take 1-3 weeks to burn through where a vintage box could go in a couple days.
Question for anyone, i want to buy boxes and sit on them bc i make alot but work alot and just want to have, question comes that i buy the 3 packs from costco that have a box and two tins are the tins worth saving or just the box?
What always confuses me not just with Pokémon cards is how ur buying low enough to make a profit with the fees. Unless yourre marking up a bit and selling a box u bought for 110 for 130 or smthn, but even then the fees and whatnot
Bulk and whatnot has shipping fees added , also just volume its kinda like if you uber you have to drive 20 hours to cover gas to start making profit afterwards
Sellers usually sell single packs depending on the market, typically $5+ per pack, so if you buy a booster box, you're buying all 36 packs in the box for $5+...
Its weird because I hear this thing that selling to Pokemon Shops will reduce it and saying its better on Ebay BUT then u have Ebay Fees + Shipping Fees .. wont that be close to what you will get from a pokemon shop? Just asking , I just started collecting cards 3 weeks with my 8 year old and I wanted to know best way in case she wants to make some money if she wants to sell some.
I got a lot of 1999-2004 cards. Something Like 300-400 except charizard, Blaines charizard First Edition, Lugia ng First Edition and normal, Shining gyarados/magikarp/steelos..snorlax jngl First ed. etc. And i have no idea what to do 😅
So I have a card collection from 1998 or 1999. I have 1-150 all in a binder card sleeves. If I went into a store, what should I expect to get for all of them?
Hi long time viewer from clash! Do you think Facebook market place is a good place to find out of print product for cheap compared to normal pricing or is that just going through rubble looking for a dime a dozen?
What up OG! Tbh finding out of print stuff for cheap is really hard, gets bought up super fast. Facebook does seem like the place you can find that, but you gotta be hunting
Sucks in Australia as there only seems to be one wholesaler, and seem to gate keep the crap out of it to create an account. So have to pay more to get from a middleman.....
Can someone help me clarify this. So distributors aren’t the only ones who can sell Pokemon at whole sale price ? Brandon mentioned wholesalers other than distributors and I am a bit confused.
So I'm going to japan in a few days, would it be good to buy booster boxes and sell them in the US. Also when I buy the booster box should I sell card packets individually or? Off topic but I'm kinda new to this and wanna get better at buying anf selling for people on tiktok does anyone have tips I can use to help me out?
Started doing this 1 year ago. I made $12,000 profit as just a side hustle. Few lucky sales and finds but it’s worth it if you love Pokémon !
Hey would you help a brother out and give some tips for someone who is starting new? I really don’t know where to start buying product
Are you selling sealed stuff or singles? Im buying whatever is in stock at amazon or walmart from the 151 expansion
@ don’t do that at all. Stores like that up sell you. You can easily get those same products from sellers in Facebook groups for much less
@ ive been doing singles, particularly for 151 actually!
Always considered doing this as a side hustle. Guess I’ll continue buying booster boxes and putting them in the closet for another 5-10 years😂
