I seen you guys on all them outlets except for the dibble one, yet I can never remember your name. 😅 I’m glad you guys are prospering, I wish you guys the best!
Thank you for actually talking us through the literal steps you took. So many resellers that are making millions just gloss over how they actually started and scaled
Omg I've been watching Pokemon Steven until I found you. He titles his videos like "How to source pokemon cards" and then he'll rant about random things for 2 hours straight. This is way more digestible, thanks for the sticking to the point.
Wow! This was so immersive watching you start from very little to what you’ve made your business into now. The fact that you casually drop you got interviewed by Vice news, got on NHK and a radio show in Dublin😂😂I’m blown away! Congratulations! Truly inspiring
There's a reason why you guys are successful. Well, more than one reason. But your mindset and ability to adapt and give what your viewers/customers want is unparalleled. I bet you guys weren't the only ones that thought of doing this . But it's because of how you guys tackled it (such as creating your own site instead of relying on eBay and their exorbitant fee, and using tik tok to drive traffic to your site). And the sheer amount of work you guys put into it, not just the product side, but the content side. Pumping out crazy amount of videos per day everyday. Hats off to you guys. Congratulations on your wild success.
This is such an insane story, I been wanting to open my own grading company mostly because I love watching packs being opened but I personally love the artworks and I actually like the tedious backend work or organizing, and all that I just need someone to do the content creation side stuff as I am not one to make videos or tiktoks and all that lol but I'd thought to partner with similar stores because I am moving into a new city that doesn't have a big cardshop or anything like that at all and I'd personally love to see more people play Pokemon and have fun. I love the cardshop atmospheres and grew up in the arcade era times so I've always loved those small pop up shops that would sell baseball cards and have an arcade machine and there's nothing like that in the new city I am moving to. So, this is super inspiring to see and what a cool thing you've done! I love that you include your wife in the pack battles and all that, that's really fun. I had a partner but we ended up splitting unfortunately and I been in a rut. We broke up just the past weekend so I am trying to move forward with my life but it's hard. Anyway, what a really cool story you got and it's cool you think about getting your customers the best deal you can. I been trying to figure out how to open my grading company but I don't like the current grading market in how much they charge per card, especially for the average person who just wants their childhood card in a nice display, so I'd like to adopt your kind of mindset there. For me, this is just an extension of what I love and sure the profits would be nice if I could make a living off of it, but really honestly, I just love sharing seeing the artwork and cards be opened and it's because I got to open cards with my niece and it made those memories of my first pack during base set extra special. My niece loves opening cards and so with the extras I'd donate decks to schools or libraries with card shops or clubs so that was super super fun. That's why I'd want to do grading use the extras to make cool stuff for kids and people and then those who have special cards have something cool and fun to display and then if people are more serious about it help alleviate the huge flux of cards to hopefully make a better deal for average collectors or people in that ballpark. Sorry for the longwinded comment, I just enjoyed your video and you inspired me :)
Your story is so amazing! I remember watching that Vice documentary and shortly after you were messaging me to stream in the Facebook Group I admin! Keep up the great work, you’re truly an inspiration!!
I’ve been looking at finding a way to make money on one of my oldest hobby. I appreciate the raw info you’re sharing. Since my son was diagnosed with lymphoma, working standard jobs has been difficult to keep up and I’m starting to feel starting my own business would fit me better.
I live in japan you guy's are the reason i left collecting japanese pokemon taking all the good card's from here and selling on ebay at 80% profit with a ridiculous shipping fee.
Thank you for being an honest seller. Too many stories of fakes & repacks being sold, especially with 3rd party sellers. I feel confident in purchasing product from you and will place an order soon. With English surging sparks prices climbing, the Japanese super electric breaker booster boxes would be a good alternative.
I’m interested too! It would be hard work but I feel like so rewarding the hobby is too awesome 😎 and I can stop teaching elementary PE lmaoo great video man thanks for the video and your company !! 🙏🏽
this has got to be the most in depth way to explain how to break the wall of a struggling entrepreneur, always believe in your efforts and never give up on what you believe in is success and it will come your way regardless the obstacles you must hurdle. Amazing you and your family deserve what you have now. Take chances and opportunities for granted.
Thanks for sharing. Very insightful as I've been semi progressing to where you're at mid your 1st year or so. 1 room and half a living room space now. No where near as organized as you. Next month would be where I get a more organized system in place. Again, thanks! This could not be more timely

Congrats on the new life! Its nice to see success stories in this world. I wish I could help out but Im not local but will wish you all the best. I recently got back into Pokemon TCG and its been interesting. Much love from Arizona!
Like many others in the comments, this is my dream. I’m living abroad right now in a country without Pokémon cards, but when I get back in a couple years this is what I want to chase.
Thank you thank you thank you, for this awesome video. It's so valuable to have someone who's further down the road than you are, describe their experience. If you ever wondered about, or doubted the potential impact your content could have on people, don't. If anything, you've definitely helped at least one person. Keep going
This is very inspirational. I’m in my first month of hopefully the same success story. I didn’t have much capital to start with but I’m making progress nonetheless. Waiting on my first batch of graded cards to come back and I’ll have a bigger fund to work from. I’ll be using your tip on finding a distributor. Thanks for the awesome content!
Thanks for sharing this. I've been trying to figure out how to go from a collector to possibly selling for a while. I'm a few years away from actually going full send but am actively buying and storing current and past English sets. It's cool to see it's possible,
Wow. I really enjoyed this video, I really did. This is the first time I've seen someone that spoke in such a down-to-earth way about how they began their Pokemon business journey. I just got back into Pokemon this year and thought about doing some side hustles like this since I really enjoyed the hobby. It may be a bit late for me to do it, but what I'm most happy about is that, I watched you do it here in this video. Congratulations on your success and I hope you continue with it! Cheers to you!
Good stuff braddah..you’re living the dream..I found my old vintage cards a few weeks ago and already have traded up my collection 50% and want to eventually get to some of the most valuable. Hey Pokene, i stumbled across your video on my recommended feed and never comment on anything but i have to on this one. Congrats on the massive win and i loved the video! Great tips in there too that i will take onboard and hope to emulate. Keep it up!
Man, what a great listen! Amazing story, feeling incredibly motivated afterwards! What would you suggest as a first step in thinking about what to do as a side hustle?
