I’m so excited it looks so good! When they showed the dialog wheel for the second time and I saw the symbol they used for purple Hawke I literally screamed and I think I cried when Bianca got broken, a lot of emotions were felt. ALSO SCOUT HARDING LOOKS SO GOOD 😍
The figure we see through the tear on the left is 100% Ghilan'nain, calling it now. The "mother of halla" was more of a crazed experimental scientist, who created *monsters*. The headdress matches art of her that we see in Dragon Age: The Missing.
Figure on the right is not as clear, but my guess would be Falon'din personally
FASCINATING! I thought the other one MIGHT be Elgar’nan just based off of who’d be the most keen to kick Solas in the ass but I truly am just guessing
My running theory is that, since there seems to be some correlation between the Evanuris and the Tevinter Dragons, is that it’s the last two surviving: Razikale and Lusacan, Dirthemen and Falon’Din respectively (wisdom=mystery, death=night)
@@ShadowQuickpaw- the only problem with that is that Razikale is canonically female, while Dirthamen is not.

You were able to articulate your feelings very well despite it being at 1 in the morning. That’s the raw power of Dragon Age hype, I assume. Hehe.
You made good observations.
I have seen a lot of people share the same sentiment as you about the combat, that it looks slow and clunky. This might be a hot take, but I like it right now, I like that it’s closer to the combat of DA2. I say right now because this is clearly gameplay from like the first hour of the game. An RPG’s gameplay at level 1 and at level 50 can sometimes feel like two different games. Personally, I hope it stays closer to DA2 than the other game’s combat, since I never felt the strategy portion of the gameplay of those never felt they had enough depth to begin with. Those parts felt like just a tribute to the CRPG roots of the studio, at least on normal difficulty.

They'll be friends - after all, their leader is a certain dashing magister formerly of the Inquisition ♥

Those are definitely 2 of the elven gods. We saw those same 2 in the previous teaser trailer back in 2020. Solas wouldn't be going with them, he tricked them and locked them away so they will want to throw hands on sight. I'm slightly worried now that Solas might be killed by them right after where it was cut off, with the game name changed. But these 2 new people are definitely being set up as being the actual big baddies of the game - I just hope it's not at the expense of Solas. I would throw that game out of the window if they did that.

I feel like all the videos of people liking the gameplay reveal are just women simping for Solas. The whole video could have been a picture of Solas and yall would've never known.

We're definitely back! 😁 I'm so glad you posted your reaction and your take, I loved it. I feel we need to wait a bit longer to watch more gameplay and learn more about the mechanics. Also, who's excited about the character creator? It seems to share a lot of similarities with Dragon's Dogma 2 and that's excellent.
They've completely abandoned the tactical combat. I'll be skipping this one. If I want to play Mass Effect I'll just play Mass Effect again.
Only 3 companions, only 3 active abilities, no party control, no tactical cam, awful enemy design, etc. This....did not deliver.
it's the same as mass effect which does have some party control
plus this gameplay reveal is on console which always had this amount of slots even in da:o
@@nightfrost1891 And therein lies the problem. Mass Effect is a cover-based shooter. Limited party control makes more sense for that genre.
And that is not true about the slots. DAO had 6, while Inquisition had 8.
