I don't know if anyone has said this in stream or in the comments, but people think that part of the reason that Varric sounds so desperate to convince Solas of finding another way because he couldn't stop Anders in DA2. He's watching another friend go down a path that ends in tragedy for them and everyone around them and he is powerless to stop it for a second time.
I'm so excited for this game in a way I haven't been in years. The Dread Wolf may take us all, but we'll give as good as we get!

This gameplay looks great. I can’t wait to play it on my PS5 during the Fall of 2024.
Varric only has one love and that is Bianca and i don't see other elven that he locked away for so long to be all kisses and hugs so no warm family reunion. It would be kind of ironic if Solas turns out regretting his choice of tearing down the veil...
Pleeeeeease let this be released early autumn, I don't wanna wait much longer! ...And normally I don't like buying games ON the release day, but how am I gonna manage to wait even longer!?

@@JAD-yf5cp early August would still count as a summer release. It would be September at the earliest. My own money is on October.
I can't even explain how happy and hyped I am after seeing this trailer, but I'm also so damn terrified. Bioware, please leave Varric alone. I'm not ready to lose him. 😭

He can die, so it was obvious that he wouldn’t be a companion.

I have no idea how you watched this without crying. The moment Harding showed up I busted into tears, and it just didn't stop. Like puddles of tears in my pasta salad that I was trying to eat while watching. I had to pause like 3 times because I couldn't see through the tears. I'm loving the look of it now. The character intro thing I was a little put off by, but I wanted to see the gameplay, and I do like it. It's with the times, but not too... overdone? I need them to drop the preorder for whatever collectors edition they are going to put out so I can order it NOW. The combat looks great, very fluid and I like that it's a hint of older style but with some new flair. TLDR; I LOVE I CAN"T WAIT And also if they give me the option to help Solas bring down the Veil, I'm 100% doing it.
If they don't let me romance Harding this time...👿👿👿👿

I think Bianca being destroyed is the perfect reason for why Varric isn't a companion this time around (basically without Bianca we doesn't want to be involved in combat anymore). I reckon he wont die.. or at least not at the beginning.. he'll be an advisor role I reckon.
The only thing I've been asking is to romance Varric since DA2 cause he so lovely, but I'm really exited for this 10 year of waiting finally paying off
I went through so many emotions watching this. I'm so hyped. They can't show my soft egg elf boy husband as a freaking edge lord and get away with it. Dragon Age I'm coming back.

Im a fan of DAO, but i will give this game a chance, for me it looks nice.
I mean, we're all fans of Origins. What's with the "but"? Most DA fans loved Origins, DA2, and Inquisition just fine. Don't let anyone convince you that people who were fans of Origins somehow just hate every other DA game out there.

@maaikejansen4302 i know they get older but to me i dont think he'd sound like that, but thats jus my opinion. Also age doesnt make your hair go from blond to black, its make it go grey maybe
@@Smugworm I mean... I know this is not what they thought about when they did the new design. But I went from very light brown hair to almost black in 20 years... so...
@@Miuchita As a reddish blond (not unlike Varric) and getting quite a few years on the counter, I can tell you that the colour makes no sense, especially for the beard. As people age, that colour turns a yellow white, then white. We don't have any brown pigments to make the hair darker. Purely blond is another story, but reddish blond is it's own thing.
@@k.v.7681 "we" as in blond dwarves of Orzammar? The day definitely sounds fun if it brings promises of discussing the genetic mappings of every "reddish blond" that ever existed, so I'm listening. Jokes aside, honestly I'd have never described Varric as "reddish blonde". But I also don't really care too much about the hair color changes in Dragon Age; I didn't bat an eye either when they changed Cullen's hair, for example.

Everyone thinks those are other elven gods, but I honestly am thinking it’s 2 tevinter magisters. And we will have something like a double blight, would make sense why darkspawn make an appearance
