    I’m a licensed nail tech and search the web for as many tips and tricks I can find to make my services quicker and more efficient. I happened to stumble upon your video and was so blown away at your technical knowledge. Usually I’ll watch a minute of other nail tutorials and hear the poster recommend doing something to the nail plate or surrounding skin that’s actually illegal (in my state or otherwise), call BS and move on. I am so glad you know your stuff! Thank you for using correct terminology and method!!! I certainly didn’t learn as much in beauty school as I did watching quality RUclips videos (pretty much only learned what I needed to pass State Board). Love love love!

The attachments come in their own case and are fairly easy to change. I would recommend to all beginner nail artist. I can't say how long it will last but for the price it's worth giving it a try.*

      there should be a locking feature on the handle that you have to twist to lock and unlock. that holds the bit in place so theres no chance of any kind of movement. i demonstrate it here ruclips.net/video/5eI7SP8uWgk/видео.html

    I finally decided to buy myself a nail drill so that I can do this. But then, the set came with a basic set of bits without the ones you've shown. And I accidentally cut myself. Only just a bit. There wasn't even a drop of blood. But I got scared, and now I am patiently waiting for the new set of bits that you told me are safe.
    Thanks for your instruction lol

    • @abetweene
      @abetweene  6 лет назад

      🙈 oh no, make sure you also have the speed on the very lowest setting, but even then (& with any bit) you can still cut yourself so just take your time. Your just learning so be patient with yourself, and practice, practice, practice.

    • @abetweene
      @abetweene  7 лет назад +1

      +Crystal Feliciano I actually have a video here ruclips.net/video/X0cVTSmAU50/видео.html
      Just remove the most gel from the apex ( as much as you safely can) before soaking. its best to leave a thin layer of hard gel if you dont use soak off. it will eventually lift and fall off or grow out, which is safer than filing your natural nail.

    Can you clarify what you meant by going in the opposite direction of the drill? I’m confused because since the drill is spinning, the bottom would be going on the left or right direction and the top is going from the left to the right.

    • @abetweene
      @abetweene  3 года назад

      on the drill you have the option of putting it in forward or reverse, so youre physically changing the direction that the bit is spinning in.

    May i know whats the point of pushing back the cuticles and also removing them? Looks scary but i also want to know the logic behind it

    • @preciouskezz459
      @preciouskezz459 2 месяца назад

      If you don't push back the cuticle and remove keratonised skin off the nail plate, you won't achieve a perfect application. Your gel or acrylic will begin to lift where the excess cuticle and skin particles are. Also, by removing excess cuticle, you allow more air absorption by the fresh cuticle, which will help with the growth and health of the nail.

      not necessarily, no. but most bits seem to fit the diameter of your standard e-file model, the issue is generally the length more often than not.

    What is the benefit of using machine manicures on removing/lifting cuticles? I am interested in purchasing them and learning how to use them, but I am too scared to. I think I'd be cutting myself or worse.

      +Sunmin Lee you don't require water or cuticle remover to soften the cuticle before using tools. so you can do a completely dry service. it's faster. and you can remove the cuticle without using nippers or scissors by just using a bit.

    Can these nail bits be used on any mail file? I got a cheap file from a local store I wondered if I could use these for them.

    Have you had any problems with the nail drill you use or used in this video? Im thinking about purchasing it.

      not until just 2 days ago. After aprox 2 it has stopped working.but it could just be a short wire from folding/bending the cord in storage.

    Are there drill bits safe to use on natural nails?

    • @abetweene
      @abetweene  4 года назад

      carborundum bits are technically “safer” than diamond but u can still potentially file the natural nail.

      abetweene I’m new to this all. Lol. Are ceramic or carborundum better to do a manicures for my natural nail. I’m so tired of having these lines of demarcation from the nail salons 🤦🏽‍♀️

    If you’re going to have a machine manicure, it is better not to use any hand creams before. Manicure lamps are not powerful enough to harm the hands skin.

    • @omgitssometaldude

      But if you really want to use a cream, just don't apply it to your cuticles and nails
