Honestly my favorite part of doing manicures is the cuticle clean up. The glow up is UNREAL. I'm a licensed nail tech too :) I love your videos!
It was the only reason I ever went to get manicures! My proximal nail fold always gets dry and peels up in places and I was scared to do it myself
What brand do you use for removing cuticles and moisturizing them? :)
what is glow up?

i’m 15 and my mom has never let me get my nails done, so i’ve been doing my nails myself for a few years and i’ve never been able to figure out what to do with my cuticles. this was really helpful, so thank you!!!
You're... A child.. have you been cutting your cuticles since you were 12? 13?? That's literally so dangerous
@@pelinozge3639 why is it dangerous?

wow, you're gonna grow up to be such a guru. omg, good for you!
it may seem like really simple minor stuff to people who want to dismiss it, but I've paid to get my nails done for years and I'll tell you, not everyone has the ability to figure all this out.

I just recently stopped biting my nails after doing it as long as I was alive. I decided to put taking care of my nails in place of the bad habit. How much could there be in the basics, right? Grabbed some things, followed a tutorial, and was covered in blood😭
My favorite part is the end result.. looking at well groomed and painted nails makes the whole process so worth it!
I have two favorite parts of my beauty routine, for two different parts of my body! My first is painting my nails. I love picking out the perfect color for my mood, an event, or to coordinate with my outfit, and then find it very calming and focusing to paint it on, as well as satisfying to get it on just right, now that I've practiced enough to not make a mess of it! The second is washing my face at night. Giving myself a little facial massage as I take off all the dirt & makeup and make my skin feel fresh and new, I feel like I'm washing away the stress of the day and giving myself a fresh start. It helps me relax, clear my mind, and helps tell my mind and body to prepare for sleep.
I don’t know why I have never though if color coordinating my nails to my outfit
My favorite part of my routine is seeing the results after filing and shaping my nails. I definitely need to hydrate more though and this butter looks so nice.
The whole manicure process was calming. I always do something with my nails on my lunches, so the glass pusher looks handy and easy to store.
While I love every part of my nail care routine, my favorite is probably when I take off my manicure and do some serious nail/cuticle care. I remove my polish with a basic acetone remover, usually Zoya's 3-in-1 formula remover. I then wash my hands and thoroughly (but gently) brush my nail surface and underneath. Every few weeks I exfoliate with a sugar scrub. I gently push back my cuticles with a metal cuticle pusher or orange stick, and remove hang nails and excess skin with a cuticle nipper (this part is not always weekly). I then oil up my nails with a combination of jojoba and vitamin E, applying it to my nail surface and underneath my nail edge, and let it sit for approximately 10 minutes and then rub it in. I then use the same oil combination around my cuticles, and lastly apply a lotion to my hands (usually some something with shea butter or hylauronic acid or whatever suits my fancy at the time).
I went back and forth on the cuticle nipper issue for a long time, but ultimately came down on the side of it. My cuticles get DRY and my proximal nail fold becomes a nuisance if left to its own devices in spite of a rigorous cuticle routine. Once I began to just nip off the dryest part of my proximal fold, my cuticles looked a lot healthier and even exposed more of my nail bed. I also bought a electronic nail file/drill and use it monthly for serious cuticle clean up around my side walls and callouses.
I know this seems rigorous and a lot, but it's really about a half hour once a week. I used to bite my nails and stopped nine years ago. When I stopped, my cuticles were severely overgrown and my nail seriously damaged. This routine comes from years of trial and error, failure and success.
My favorite part of my beauty routine is nail and skincare. Its so relaxing and it helps me to know that I am taking good care of myself. Like I'm doing something for myself ❤❤❤
Top coat is always the most satisfying part of doing my own nails
My favorite part is cuticle care. I'm new to this but it is so rewarding.
I keep watching people cutting cuticles while they are dry....in Brazil we do it when they are wet, it makes everything easier and the results are MUCH BETTER ;)))
I enjoy sugar scrubs, because afterward everything feels clean and soft!
What great help this is .. been doing my own nails and feet for about a month now.
My favorite part is cuticle care. Always dry and an ongoing battle. Always trying the next next best solution. This one looks good. ❤⛸🌸
I’ve found that I really love the clean-up with an angle brush around my nails. There’s just something soothing about it.
My favorite part of the whole process is the cuticle cream at the end. It’s such a satisfaction knowing your finished and I feel like they always look their best then.
My favorite part of my manicure is when it’s finally done!! These products look great!
My favorite part of my nail routine is the cuticle care. I find my whole routine very relaxing
I enjoy the manicure itself. Something about seeing a bare nail with all of its flaws. Then seeing the results after you have cleaned and oiled. Love your videos!
My favorite part of the routine is either getting rid of the cuticles (so much so that I do my boyfriend's cuticles, too) or at the very end after the top coat goes on and your nails just look shiny and perfect.
There is something so satisfying about it fr tho!
Oh I am in need of some of this! My cuticles are looking bit rough right now due to hand sanitizer and constantly cleaning at work! I love painting my nails, no makeup here, just a polish addict! 😂
Awesome video!! As always. I totally need that little glass cuticle remover! It looks fantastic. My favorite part of my beauty routine is doing my nails. I'm not big on makeup, but I love doing my nails. Sitting down in the evening and filing and painting my nails is what keeps me calm;)
This is a great video. I’ve been having problems with my cuticles & getting hang mails & I haven’t quite figured out how to use my manicure tools approximately. Thank you for this.
Being in dermatology and seeing patients time and time again with infections from nail salons, have pushed me into doing my own nails at home (I recommend investing in an autoclave). This was very helpful, definitely tempting to want to remove everything, but your nails and overall health will thank you for your restraint.
Wait- so would you recommend what is shown in the video? I am scared of hurting my nails somehow
Just ordered the maxus butter so excited to use. definitely gonna be doing my own nails from now on especially cutting my own cuticles because nails salons always mess up my beautiful natural nails. Thankyou!
My favorite part of my routine is moisturizing my cuticles and nails. Something so satisfying about the feel of moisturized healthy nails. Thanks for the giveaway opportunity and the great video!
My favorite part is the after feeling when I know I’ve done a good job. My nails look like they were done by a professional and I didn’t have to spend on getting them done 😊
Thank you for this video. I have always been so worried about cuticle cutting but I watched this and gave it a go. I have to say. I’m so impressed with the result. Thank you for your advice
Glass files and glass cuticle stuff are the BEST
Planning on my first mani/pedi and educating myself in the process so I can do my own nails after. These videos are very helpful, thank you.
I enjoy the creative design of polishing my nails best.
The favorite part of my nail routine is when I take nail polish off file my nails so they're all evenly same length and putting Nails oil at night and just letting them soak it in. They look so much healthier in the morning when I wake up.
My favorite part is when I get to give myself a manicure and pedicure it's my little me time and I get to relax and pamper myself
My favorite part of my routine is using a top coat and getting that smooth shiny finish
I love putting the polish on!

Thank you for your video .I been doing my nails since junior high. Nobody told me how and I never asked anyone however looking your video is so well explained and now I know I will make my nails look a lot better thank you so much for your time and exelent video. J.Carcamo.
I enjoy keeping my nails pretty with polish because hands like eyes are nearly always visible 🤗
I just like cleaning my nails and moisturizing the nails and cuticles after drying them out all week from the constant washing at the doctor's office
Missed your videos so much❤️
My favorite part of my beauty routine is removing my dead skin/cuticles! I love how it looks after I remove it! 😍
Thanks for the video! I enjoyed watching how simple cleaning up one's cuticles can be! Never have enjoyed the clipping part, but if it's dead anyway, it makes sense to clip!

Thank you for sharing!!! My favorite part is just seeing the end results! Gotta love the before and after lol. Thank you for the opportunity! 💅🏼
That nail butter sounds awesome! ☺️
I manicure almost daily. I just love it.
Most satisfying part is seeing the dead cuticle coming off with the cuticle pusher and nail drill.
Such beautiful nails. I'm jealous.
Love this! Hydration is my favorite part of my beauty care routine!
Wow, thank you for such a clear instructions and I appreciate because I am try to let my nails grow and I can do my own manicure ✨👏
I stumbled across this tutorial and I’m glad I did. I have been cutting myself trying to remove my cuticles. Little did I know I was doing it all wrong. This video has given me hope. And I will be following your instructions step by step. I can’t wait to try the jojoba cream to enhance my manicure. Oh and I promise not to eat it. Lol
I'm not ready to cut, I'll probably just push it back and do light scraping. One thing I need to do for sure is moisturize, the skin around my cuticles is always getting cut up.
yes love glass cuticle pusher

This is an excellent video presentation! I’m so excited to try the glass cuticle pusher you had a link to - also ordered the nippers as mine are so dull. Thanks so much for the information. (You have very pretty and healthy appearing nails!) Now a subscriber to your channel.
I’m pretty sure pushing back the nail fold and eponychium isn’t good either
Total self care is key
My favorite of my beauty routine is actually washing my face and putting on hand cream!
Lovely video! Thank you
You have beautiful! I am going to investigate this product line!
I have always heard that women aren't supposed to cut their cuticles. Simply push them back. Is it true that if you keep the moisturizing process up, you won't feel the need to cut them? 🤔
A good video but i was hoping to see how you deal with hang nails down the sides of the nail. I have real problems with these and end up cutting them off with nail clippers which i know is wrong.but i don't know the right way either!
Very helpful, thanks you so much!
I leave my cuticles alone. I think they look fine. I decided some time ago the only beauty regime for me is one that doesn’t involve hurting my body.
After three videos, I immediately preferred yours, but then you went to a whole new level of greatness by throwing in Michael Scott! I am still laughing!
I very rarely cut my nails, I file them with a glass file every few days after removing my old nail polish and that starts the new manicure. I also really like putting oil on my cuticles and fingers each night, it really helps.
I have a phobia of this and huge anxiety… although it looks nicer- it’s creating an opening and what’s the purpose
Because you can clean the cuticles and nails still grow
Words cannot even describe I need to see this video and see it again and again until I get it right because this what I need to know about the nail thank you okay let me get back
I have to be 💯 I love the cuticle product said everything was spectacular spot on can't wait to try your tricks
Thank you 😘😘😘
Favorite part of my beauty routine is deep conditioning my hair and painting my nails.
I think if you can do your own nails the better for you. The nail salon is becoming a very unfriendly place because, the nail technician just cutting corners, and they put very little effort on caring for your nail. They charge so much and yet they rushed and forget the other application needed to maintain your healthy nails. I sometimes feels like being in the dentist surgery when buffing is excessive. So little emphasis on what they are doing to ensure the customers are comfortable. It’s scary and your nails becoming more sensitive due to technicians laziness. Too much buffing without care ruins your nails.
Thanks for the tips😊
My favorite part is lip scrubs and moisturizing afterwards
OMG. Its scary part when you cut the skin.. I am gonna get myself those tools. Hehe. Thanks for the tips.
Great tutorial ❤ 💅
I've gone from chewing my nails to picking the skin, now I have awkward skin around my nails and I hope this helps
Thank u so helpful

I love doing my nails just because of how therapeutic it feels
How often should the cuticles be pushed back?
very informative!
NICE. GOD BLESS👍💯👍🙏
My nails were so short and ugly before and since I watched these kinds of videos, I have greatly improved a lot! And I even learned how to nail polish my own nails even in the left hand side. Although it’s not as nice as how others do, I greatly appreciate this success of mine 😊
I haven't masteted filing my nails. I always take too much off. They also peel or bteak off. I'm doing a regime thru Ella
Loved your video
My favorite part is cutting off the dead skin around the cuticles...my job is hell on my hands so it is a never ending task to try and moisten my cuticles and keep them from looking horrible.
I've lost it a hohoba seed oil XD I didn't know english speakers pronounced it that way ! In French it's pronounced with j as in Jay.
Wow amazing 😍
My fav beauty routine is doing my NAILSSSS 💅
I enjoy the whole manicure process because it’s really about self-care during such stressful current events.
For real!! Since quarantine started in my country (march) I’ve been painting my nails every single week. My nails have never looked better, taking care of my nails and painting them is like “me time”, it really relaxes me.

the UV lamp is dangerous. It can cause cancer.
you should NOT put cuticle remover on living skin only nail plate. I am licensed nail tech.
Why?
@@BayanaDuisheyevait’s very alkaline and can irritate healthy skin. Follow the directions on your product and wash your hands to neutralize. Don’t leave it on for longer than recommended.
Why
sure you are 💀
Nail tech here... you need to remove the cuticle remover with water. It can irritate the skin if left on too long.
DO NOT CUT the proximal nail fold ever - the living skin - even if it is dry. If it’s dry that means it’s not healthy. Start using jojoba oil after every hand washing and Kerasal foot lotion at night and, using an orange stick, gently nudge back the proximal nail fold every other day. Do this until the skin becomes soft and pliable then you can use a cuticle remover. The Salon Life is a professionally trained nail tech who has great videos on RUclips.
When I do my nail routine it's gives a sense of femininity. Of confidence and pride you know. I have health issues and very weak nails that break constantly, so when I get them to grow its always a beautiful feeling.
Um i feel having good and long nails has nothing to with you gender, its 21st century and we should be over with the typical gender norms, i feel anybody who wants good and long nails should have them regardless of their gender.
@@lakshyabhatnagar7504 she never said that, she simply said doing her nails makes her feel a bit more feminine, she isn’t saying “nail routines are not for men” i dont know where you got that from please don’t misconstrue her message
