Because most American nail techs only push back the cuticles. You will have to ask for this specifically. Be careful though, most American techs are not trained to do this. This is how it's done in Russia.
Go on Instagram and look for hashtags that have nails and the name of your hometown in it. If you want, I can write it in Russian for you, so you for sure can find someone who does this at home. My girl charges 30 like any Vietnamese salon would but I pay her 50 because my nails last an entire month. Cuticle doesn't grow back and gel polish never lifts or cracks.

Your exquisite light touch is a definite key to this type of manicure. Some people are a bit heavy handed. Your process is very very well practiced and the kind of professionalism I would love to see in mail shops. It’s an art, and so many many techs don’t seem to really put their heart into their work. I know this will be an unpopular comment on this channel...but please, do not push, lift, or cut your cuticles. They have an important function: to seal the point where your skin and nails meet and keep germs out of your blood stream. It's like the caulk around a tub or the rubber gasket around a window. Once it's broken, undesirable things will come in. Lifting and cutting the cuticle is actually creating a wound on your skin! If you keep your nail beds properly moisturized, your cuticles will not grow thick and gnarly because they don't need to extend themselves past their natural edge to do their sealing job properly. Love from a healthcare professional looking out for all of you!

the e-file was from amazon. it wasnt branded, so i dont know the name of it and since its from a few years ago its likely no longer available. everything else was purchased individually from the vendors linked in the description box.
My mom and 2 sisters' nails grow beautifully without doing any of this. I, however, have skimpy nails. All of these steps are for people whose nails just will not grow. I tried the oils, pushing back the cuticles, and using clear nail polish (Sally Henson) and I'm seeing great results. No machines.
these steps dont aid nail growth, just maintain the look of the surrounding skin. massaging with oil does help strengthen the nails tho and stimulate the nail matrix (where growth starts) and polish protects, so your routine is solid 👍

Can you do a video like this but with someone with a full set.. I wear hard gel nails and i have THE CRUSTIEST cuticles af 3 days after I get them done. AND I REFUSE to go to a tradational nail salon bc they always make me bleed or mess up my nails bc I don't go to them!! PLEASE HELP

With a normal manicure they go around with the "clippers" and cut the skin. With this method, she used the "bits" to file the skin off. I've never seen this done in regular nail shops.
im not against them. I have tried one unsuccessfully in the past. I may revisit it in the winter though, because my main concern is my feet peeling while wearing sandals 😫 i would die
I say take that money to a pro. Who has time for nasty week long shedding?! It's so gross and the results are so disappointing. $5 Mr. PUMICE bar or a Diamancel file will give you a flawless result in minutes if you can't see a tech right away.
I just bleeded my nails. 😔 i really dont get it how you pick the dead cuticles in the end. I can see my white cuticles but when i start drilling they press downwards.when i start doing upwards the nail gets drilled..

One must be trained in the style of manicuring. Like she said, a lot of people are against this technique.

I just bleeded my nails. 😔 i really dont get it how you pick the dead cuticles in the end. I can see my white cuticles but when i start drilling they press downwards.when i start doing upwards the nail gets drilled..
Check if rpms arent too high, u have the right bit and if the direction is correct
