  • most people arent doing this at home, i know... but im a bit of a nail junkie so i have more than i need. really, this technique is a professional service used my technicians to not only achieve a very polished manicure but also to cut down on time and labor. yes, you can do a very clean mani/pedi by hand, but for those with moderate to severe callous using an e-file helps nail professionals run an efficient business and help give their client amazing results.

      у vogue russia даже была статья на эту тему) он не появился впервые у нас - у нас он стал очень популярен, ведь в России патриархальное общество: женщины - украшение, мужчины - добытчики, поэтому и маникюр должен быть максимально аккуратным (ну сомнительная аккуратность, ведь и с ухоженной кутикулой и без птеригия руки выглядят очень здОрово и здорОво)

      В Америке просто не убирают кутикулу. Вот такой маникюр. Можете просто посмотреть фото американского маникюра в инсте по хештегам разным и вы будете в удивлении. У них не делают маникюр аппаратом тк они запрещены, чтобы не поранить клиенток. А образной не помню точно почему, но тоже его вроде не делают. Поэтому у всех необработанная кутикула. И поэтому наши русские девушки часто в Америке и Канаде ищут именно русских девушек мастеров, тк местные не убирают кутикулу.
      Поэтому маникюр, в котором убирают кутикулу, обрезанием и особенно аппаратом прозвали русским

    • @ruslanajosan2634
      @ruslanajosan2634 4 года назад +24

      Это в России он необрезной, а здесь в США его называют русский. Потому что в основном русскоговорящие мастера его продвигают и делают в салонах. Здесь индустрия занята в большей степени азиатами, которые не умеют да и не делают этого. Они оказывают, как правило, сервис низкого качества, который не предполагает проработки всех деталей. Но их сервис сравнительно недорогой и быстрый. Вот народ к ним и ходит.

      Because most American nail techs only push back the cuticles. You will have to ask for this specifically. Be careful though, most American techs are not trained to do this. This is how it's done in Russia.

      Go on Instagram and look for hashtags that have nails and the name of your hometown in it. If you want, I can write it in Russian for you, so you for sure can find someone who does this at home. My girl charges 30 like any Vietnamese salon would but I pay her 50 because my nails last an entire month. Cuticle doesn't grow back and gel polish never lifts or cracks.

    Can you please do a video on basic nail care and everything someone needs to know about nail health? I'm currently on medication that's making my nails split and peel and I didn't realize how little I knew about nail care until now. Thank you! :)

    Could you do a video on how you clean and sanitize your nail tools

      Marissa May I don’t know how she does it but I only use my tools on myself so I use soap and water and follow with acetone and then alcohol regularly to keep my stuff clean.

    Love love LOVE your videos! I'm a DIY beauty enthusiast, and your content gives me LIFE. Which grit did you purchase on the Erica's ATA micro taper bit? They have course, medium, and fine versions for sale currently.

    I know this will be an unpopular comment on this channel...but please, do not push, lift, or cut your cuticles. They have an important function: to seal the point where your skin and nails meet and keep germs out of your blood stream. It's like the caulk around a tub or the rubber gasket around a window. Once it's broken, undesirable things will come in. Lifting and cutting the cuticle is actually creating a wound on your skin! If you keep your nail beds properly moisturized, your cuticles will not grow thick and gnarly because they don't need to extend themselves past their natural edge to do their sealing job properly. Love from a healthcare professional looking out for all of you!

    Wow. This looks like some serious skills are required. I wonder how you can do it on your non-dominant one. You probably address that at some point. I just haven't seen it yet.

    My mom and 2 sisters' nails grow beautifully without doing any of this. I, however, have skimpy nails. All of these steps are for people whose nails just will not grow. I tried the oils, pushing back the cuticles, and using clear nail polish (Sally Henson) and I'm seeing great results. No machines.

      these steps dont aid nail growth, just maintain the look of the surrounding skin. massaging with oil does help strengthen the nails tho and stimulate the nail matrix (where growth starts) and polish protects, so your routine is solid 👍
