Today you’re going to learn one version of the new flamenco strum pattern, also called the rumba flamenco strum.

This version is a good basic strum that is perfect to add this style to your repertoire, or as a foundation if you want to learn more.
Be sure and stay until the end because I’ve included a practice session which will help in getting the groove for this staple strum for the new Flamenco style music. It’s the next best thing to sitting down with a flamenco guitarist in Andalucia and following along while he plays slowly. :)

Here's my newest Spanish Guitar video... I think I did an exceptional job of breaking down this popular strum pattern. How did it work for you?
You are so good at teaching and great at explaining step by step. Not everyone knows how to do that. Thank you!
I appreciate that!
Thanks man. Fantastic tempo
Thank you for such great content
Amaazing lesson.. 😘
Another great lesson.. cheers for your time Tomas
Thanks... I'm glad you liked it Tim. Any suggestions for my next video?
Great energy, thank you very much.
You are so welcome Noah.
Very good lesson 👍👍
Good stuff, nice easy to follow Rhumba strum tutorial! You are a good teacher. I would also suggest watch out for the accents on "and of 2" and beat "4"
Thanks Kevin. Yes, that makes sense.
Great video. Greetings from Italy
Very Nice this video sir
Thanks Ejaz.
Thank You ! :))
You're very welcome Wout. I'm glad you liked it.
Please come up with a Video- how to select a classical nylon string acoustic guitar
That's a great idea Kan. What would you say the price range would be? Would between $100 - $1000 be about right? Interesting fact: The guitar in this video cost me $7500.
Yes, that's great for a start-$100 - $1000; whether with a EQ electric or without pickup....your knowledge would be very educative !
Made in China versions are pretty affordable but I am personally sceptical whether it is reliable with regard to the tonality etc...
Trying to strum Flamenco on a steel string electric is not working !

Hi Kan... thanks for the request. I'm putting it on my list now.
