    Thanks for such a demonstration of sounds I couldn't emulate; I don't play guitar. I doubt if using the best of DAW utilities, I can analyse and imput guitar techniques via a keyboard.
    I'm unwell and isolated in a small Australian town. There's no flamenco guitarists here. There were some flamenco dance lessons offered in a smaller town, but there isn't any good transport there. Wish I lived in southern Europe.

    • @ProFLAMENCO
      @ProFLAMENCO  3 года назад

      Thanks for your comment! DAW utilities are always better nowadays. However, It is really difficult (or almost impossible in some cases) to input flamenco guitar sound via a keyboard. It is a really specific sound achieved by using a specific technique. I wish you good luck and all the best!
      Greetings!

    • @alaindubois1505
      @alaindubois1505 3 года назад

      @@ProFLAMENCO, Thanks for your reply. Yes, it's because of the flamenco guitar's unique sound and guitar's ability for rhythm and complex timbre that it is so desirable to add to the ubiquitous electronically generated synthetic and sampled acoustic orchestra sounds. I'm about to buy hopefully the best available [Native Instruments] in a half-price half-year sale. Then I will see what it can do.
      Most probably it would generate ordinary rhythm guitar strumming. I'm not keen on how acoustic sampling once played world instrument samples repetitively without human variation.
      If it were possible, I'd rather have musicians playing flamenco guitar, saxophone, and other idiosyncratic sounds.
      ....................................................................
      Following is some information about where I live - that few know about - even in our region, you can read if you are interested in the truth about Australian areas.
      My small rural town has very high numbers of people with disabilities, illness, older ages, and especially mental health problems because of government neglect since Australian federation in 1901, exacerbated when 70% in the north of our state voted for secession in 1967. All major political parties voted together to destroy our railway infrastructure as corporations wish to mine coal seam gas under the railway line.
      Music is the only way of making our dire situation seen, as media is very controlled. Being in the northeast of the state, it resembles the map of Catalonia with our closest large city over the border in Queensland [comparing to where France is positioned to Catalonia.] Crossing the border is difficult - if we are not able or well enough to drive.
      Our region's people are very dysfunctional. I organised to have a music studio built last winter [around June], but the local plumber/builder failed to do it, and would not contact us. He had found maybe higher-paying work as people move from cities to the country because of covid. There's difficulty getting proper medical attention.
      I'm Scottish, and also wish for Scotland to leave the UK. Before covid arrived, for my health, I was looking at Portugal or Spain for a better climate and other civil needs.

    • @ProFLAMENCO
      @ProFLAMENCO  3 года назад +1

      Hi! Thanks for your comment and sorry for a delay in my response. But I have another point of view. It doesn't suck! Please remember that every style of music or every type of guitar is a different story. For example if somebody plays the classical guitar for years but suddenly wants to learn blues slide guitar or fingerstyle or gipsy jazz guitar - then this person will start really from scratch with some things. So it is never to learn some new things and it is always an interesting and really joyful journey! Please take a look from this point of view!
      The theory behind flamenco is not possible to explain just in 1 or 2 sentences. If you would like to talk about it and maybe have some questions, we can always meet individually. Just send a message on my e-mail: info@proflamenco.com
