I losr my husband 4 yrs ago, we were married over 48 yrs, everyday he would thank me for making & serving his meals & anything else I would do for him.. He would do almost anything for me, except cook. He would wash floors, vacuum, do dishes, iron clothes,
Sorry for your loss. It sounds like he really respected you and helped where he could. What a great partner in life for 48 years! We should all be so blessed.
I'm sorry you lost your husband. My husband must be cut from the same cloth. We have been married 51 years . My husband has always helped, but he helps more now than ever since we're both retired. He will try to cook. His specialty is chef salad and spaghetti made with jar sauce. Other than that, I do the cooking and baking. He does the cleanup. Sweeps the floors. Mops the floors and vacuums and will even clean bathrooms . Although, I do clean a bathroom better than him. Lol! God bless you, and hopefully, you will stay active in your community.
My husband and I have been happily married for over 30 years and we also thank each other for the daily things we each do to keep our life running. Daily appreciation is wonderful and it’s great to see you two with such a great relationship!!❤️
That reminds me of the old joke: My husband and I have been happily married for 20 years. We've actually been married for 30 years but the last 10 have sucked.
@@Gothlite-i1lToo funny! We always say we've been married for X# of years...X# happily. Lol! We've been married now for 53 years...50 of them happy. Lol! ❤
Gournay cheese is from Normandy France - made from unaged cows milk . It's soft and spreadable and both sweet and somewhat tangy with a texture like cream cheese.
I was a bit nervous when Mandy said she was adding the boursin as I always thought it was flavored cream cheese and I know how Stephen feels about cream cheese. But I guess it was a hit! Must be that it was from continental cows.
There is nothing sweeter than a man and son that appreciate your cooking. If you enjoy cooking you always hope you make dishes that your family enjoys. Gonna make these recipes for sure.
4:47. I have never commented on a video before but I had to tell you that the love and charm and chemistry y’all have makes you my favorite ever!!! You make such fantastic meals with easily accessible ingredients. I personally hope you make videos forever!😁❤️
So Mandy this is my first time commenting on a video but my husband and I love watching you and your husband! We watch to laugh but then try your recipes. This week we did the air fryer zucchini bites and the boursin chicken! Omg you could put that sauce on liver and it would taste incredible. Thank you so much for entertaining us and sharing such great recipes. Keep those laughs and recipes coming😊
I really like your show better that your husband is more part of the show than when I first started to watch your show...Good job and I love your cooking
My husband also has forty eleven tshirts, likes them very soft, and never throws out the old ones. 😄 Mandy, I use my metal potato masher to mix meatball or meatloaf mix together to avoid having to touch all that raw egg and raw meat. Thanks for all the great videos!
Mine too and he has caps to match them all 😂 1 time he's like I can't find my cap, and I know he's got at least 30 of them that all match specific shirts 😅 I have no clue how I'd help him find one 😂
I’ve noticed some comments pretty much stating that you’re doing something wrong. All I have to say is, Mandy, if it works for you and you are comfortable doing it, it’s the right way for you.
There is a lot of things you can do with boursin cheese. Mashed potatoes, boursin mixed with a garlic butter compound, crackers, etc. All your recipes look great.
When you have to use your hands to mix up meats with eggs and other things that make you cringe... invest in a box of disposable gloves to use for this step. It will keep your hands clean while getting rid of that yucky feeling you get. Hope this helps you out. Love watching you bring new recipes to life. It therapeutic and relaxing 😊
Don’t tell The Common Tater, but I made the street corn chowder a second time.. I was out of heavy cream so I used a 1/2 container of jalapeño cream cheese, I warmed it up in the microwave and stirred it in with a little bit of the soup until smooth, added the mixture to the crock pot and ohh my’lanta it was delicious. My family said it was better this way! 😊
It's so good to see you guys back. I'm a new subscriber and you're a refreshing breath of fresh air.😄 I love Steven's reaction to the food. His Common Tater shirt made me laugh 😂
I made this for dinner tonight. We LOVED it! I drained the tomatoes and only used 3/4 cup of beef broth. It was perfect and did not have too much liquid. I also waited to stir in 1 cup of the cheese, after I released the pressure. It was absolutely delicious and I really enjoy and look forward to your videos. I've been married 39 years and I've been a southern (Texas) cook, even longer than that. Y'all take care!

I know that my husband is appreciative but he does not understand that "it's ok" is not a compliment but at least he is not a complainer so I guess I should be thankful. 😊😊😊😊 by the way we are married 49 years this year... so I don't think things will change so thank you God for the partner that you gave me. At least I will not get a swelled head. Lol
I tried the Taco Tortellini Casserole and the Boursin Chicken and they both were AMAZING! The Boursin Chicken is a family favorite now. It had so much flavor. Also the Taco Tortellini Casserole was even better as leftovers. Thank you for the recipes! ❤
You can always tell when Steven likes something! I’d love to see his expression when he doesn’t. His face is very expressive! My husband says “it’s a 2fer” first and last time all together if he doesn’t like it . By the way we haven’t tried a recipe from you we haven’t enjoyed!
50 years ago when I was first married, the old orange crock pot first came out. The recipes that came with it was pretty bland. But then again I lacked any amount of practice. I'm glad to see them and the recipes have come so far. GOOD COOKIN!

If you put a wet paper towel, kind of in a ball shape, in the corner of your cutting board, you won’t cry while cutting the onions. I don’t know how or why, but it works. Great recipes! Thanks for all your hard work.
I just love Stephen’s reactions to each dish. He just loves them all and I love that! I get a kick out of him! You too are so cute and sweet together, I am glad I found your channel! Yes I agree about getting the lid on. Also I can't see the words for pressure and vent. I will try a white sharpie and see if that helps. Thanks for the hint. Mandy put the stuff you need to mix in your mixer because I can't stand the feleling of mushing together either or use rubber gloves. LOL
Mandy I agree with you about sticking my hands in ground meat and eggs to mix them up. Also, I don't like touching raw chicken. I decided one day to buy some disposable vinyl gloves, and it changed my life. I mentioned them to my brother, and he said he'd been using them for years. Seriously, I'm making more things now that I used to stay away from. Give them a try. 😊 Thanks for all your recipes, and I really appreciate your sharing of your home and family. ♥️

I saved a couple of these recipes because they sound so good. Thank you! And I had been watching you use your chopper for some time now, and thought it looked like something I might need to buy. Well, I finally did, and let me tell you, it works great, and I am so happy I bought it. My dominate hand is badly deformed due to RA, so chopping and dicing a lot of veggies can be quite painful. That chopper is going to be life-changing for me. Thank you so much for sharing the link to it. I love watching you two! You brighten my day.

Not only do your recipes inspire me, but just you and Steven just crack me up😂. Keep the "Go-backers" comin'. Love them! ❤
Just a helpful hint: I don't like to use my bare hands when I'm mixing ground beef or turkey with other ingredients (like eggs), so I now put on a pair of disposable latex (or non latex) gloves. It's so much easier and I don't get my hands (or rings) messy with meat mixture. You only have to wear one glove for the hand that does the mixing.
❤I love your cooking and your videos so much. I am writing down your meals and I am making a Mandy cook book using a binder book, I love going back and looking to see what looks good to eat tonight. Thank you so much for sharing your life and sharing your cooking skills with us. Love your videos. Your family is awesome 👌 🎉❤❤❤
That Bousin Chicken is delicious! That Taco Tortilini looks great too. I do have a problem putting my Instant Pot lid on. I will have to try that handy hack fro Cheryl. I am with Jessica, I love my Crock Pot and Instant Pot. It was 90 here in SE MI too. That chicken rice dish is on my list too. Have to make this!
Boursin cheese is awesome. I've made that Boursin chicken dish several times. I always double the sauce. It's great served over pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes.
I'm not sure if you read all the messages on here BUT I just lost my husband in February and since then I have started to play around with different recipes and I must say you and your husband are so wonderful together it's almost like the way hubby and I worked together and trust me I really need people like the both of you in my life right now. Thank you both so very much for what you do together because togetherness is what keeps a marriage going as one unit. So thank you both once again. I'm in Canada.
Oh gosh, I am SO sorry for the loss of your husband. I cannot imagine how life has been since February. Please know I'm praying for you right now. Sending you all my love.
Once again you and Steven have out done yourselves. You guys do such a great job cooking and tasting together!! Love ya❤❤ And….great recipes as always❣️❣️
According to the site Pressure Luck, when the instant pot is plugged in but off push the minus sign for about 5 seconds and when SOFF comes up the S is for sound and it is then off, if you want to turn the sound back on you press the plus sign, then it will say S ON.
Boursin cheese is delicious with salmon, too. I put a layer of it on top of the salmon and then roll it like a pinwheel and cook it on our smoker/grill. 🔥
I love your videos. I actually made myself laugh out loud….I told you “God bless you” out loud when you sneezed….like you could hear me😂. Anyway, I really enjoy watching y’all cook. I’m in southwest Louisiana so I enjoy all those comfort foods.
Hi Mandy and to your personal “common tater” I love watching your videos and will certainly be making all 5 of these recipes!!! Just a quick tip to help keep your knives sharp…..when using your knife as a “scraper “ turn it upside down and use the dull top………you’re welcome 😊😊😊😊😊
Love all these favourites! We love the boursin chicken, the tortellini and the chowder! Thank you so much for this video. Great fun to see you two interacting in the kitchen and at the dinner table. Just love seeing you dine out in your new space! Hoping you have a wonderful weekend! ❤😊
Whoot CLEMSON all the way!! My niece Aly Graduated from Clemson and now works there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOVE IT!! Go TIGERS!! P.s. I live in California LOL
Mandy, when I make anything that requires hand mixing, I put all ingredients in a gallon zip lock and mix. No pain in my hands or for that matter mess on my hands.
So recently I have noticed when I watch some of the other ladies that have cooking content, that their husbands are showing up in the videos. Hmmmm, I guess imitation is flattery. However, none of them hold a candle to Steven. He is definitely an original, that can not be imitated! Love all your recipes, and watching the chemistry y'all share!
Wen I make meatloaf I never use my hands to mix everything into the meat. I will use my meat chopper and gently mix using a swirling/twirling motion. Meatloaf gets well blended but does not get tough. Works great.
I agree with you about the summer heat in the south. Some days it feels like a sauna. Crockpot tip for you: if you have an outlet on your covered porch, put your crockpot outside to cook. It keeps your kitchen even cooler on these hot days.
I laughed when you started mixing up the meat for the meatballs. I can’t mix anything up with my hands .. definitely relate to the gag sound lol. I just want to say I truly enjoy all of your videos.
Note to self...get in touch with the state tourism board and tell them they should pay Stephen for advertising!
Boom. Best comment of the video. LOL

If you have a hand mixer, use the dough hooks to mix any ground meat mixture. Works great, even if in doubt about it at first.
Have missed y’all !! Kept you in 🙏🏼 and continue to.
We appreciate that SO much!
I didn't have Taco seasoning one night but had your recipe for homemade Taco seasoning LOVED IT n it has No perspectives
Boursin cheese is awesome. I've made that Boursin chicken dish several times. I always double the sauce. It's great served over pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes.
I can definitely see how these are you favorites .. Everything looks delicious 😋
Sooooo sorry for the loss of your precious husband. Sincere prayers for you during this difficult time. God bless.
Oh gosh, I am SO sorry for the loss of your husband. I cannot imagine how life has been since February. Please know I'm praying for you right now. Sending you all my love.
Gurl I keep my onions in the fridge, I never cry when cutting them!!!
You and your husband are so adorable! These recipes all look tasty!
Once again you and Steven have out done yourselves. You guys do such a great job cooking and tasting together!! Love ya❤❤ And….great recipes as always❣️❣️
Thanks so much!!
Good to have you back! You were missed! Thank you for the great recipes.
We are so glad to be back!
According to the site Pressure Luck, when the instant pot is plugged in but off push the minus sign for about 5 seconds and when SOFF comes up the S is for sound and it is then off, if you want to turn the sound back on you press the plus sign, then it will say S ON.
If you put your onion in the refrigerator for several hours before cutting it up you will not cry. I love your videos, and Gracie Lou.
True southern manners! I appreciate it! :)
I love all your recipes that you do, I enjoy all your videos thank you for sharing with us until next time God bless❤
Great idea!!
Yay! I'm glad you are back. We all missed you and Steven.
Missed you too!
You are so kind. Thank you. We love being in the kitchen together, so it's just an extension of what we do even when there's no camera around. :)
Thank you. This was AMAZING!!! We had no left overs
I remember these,..... the "eyebrows" video. LOL. Ya'll have a good weekend.
Wen I make meatloaf I never use my hands to mix everything into the meat. I will use my meat chopper and gently mix using a swirling/twirling motion. Meatloaf gets well blended but does not get tough. Works great.
Another great video. Thanks! Boursin cheese is fantastic in a lot of recipes.
I agree with you about the summer heat in the south. Some days it feels like a sauna. Crockpot tip for you: if you have an outlet on your covered porch, put your crockpot outside to cook. It keeps your kitchen even cooler on these hot days.
Great tip!
I laughed when you started mixing up the meat for the meatballs. I can’t mix anything up with my hands .. definitely relate to the gag sound lol.
I just want to say I truly enjoy all of your videos.
