I know some viewers have commented that you shouldn’t give Gracie cheese because cats are lactose intolerant. So good news for you, cheese is naturally lactose free. Especially the harder cheese. Your family is just the cutest, and on top of that I get wonderful recipes. Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks. (i am 73). Keep the southern accent, too. I live in Texas so I can relate.
Only us southern can really understand how we talk. I have northern friends and they find me hilarious. You stay you and you are awesome!❤️. Hugs from Tennessee
Thank you for sharing these meals. I'm grateful for such down to earth foodies. Your son will probably love mushrooms in his elder years snd question himself on why he didn't like them. I can't believe how my taste buds have changed over the years.... maybe our bodies just start craving different nutrients....who knows. Thank you again for going over the top with everything.🌺💕🌺💕
Mandy, I love that you too talk to the stove when it beeps at you. The taco meatloaf looks good! I can't wait to try the recipe. I like green chili sauce.
I just found your channel and subscribed since I'm always looking for pretty easy meals to make. I'm a 66 yr old widow with a back disability and limited standing and mobility and I'm raising my 3 grandsons...so I want easy but scrumptious meals. Thank you
Hey Mandy and Steven, I am from Charlotte, NC and we say boil and bowl the same way you guys do. It's a southern thang.😅 Love to watch ya'll. Absolutely crack me up! Don't you ever change I love ya'll!😊
I’m definitely making that cheeseburger soup with some garlic bread.. I have been watching you for 3 years and truly love your smile and your wonderful personality. You & your family are truly a joy.. God Bless ..❤
Another great video! Thank you Mandy. When you added the beer to the Sloppy Joe’s it reminded of something I haven’t had in years and that’s Kielbasa cooked in beer. If I remember right it’s just cutting the kielbasa into about 1.5 inch pieces and adding to a skillet on about medium high and lightly fry the kielbasa, drain any excess grease then add enough beer to cover the bottom of pan but not completely submerge the kielbasa, bring to a light boil, then turn down to gently simmer. Stir occasionally. When the beer reduces it creates almost a syrup consistency, coating the kielbasa. Good served as an appetizer or with potatoes and a vegetable.
My family loves cheeseburger soup. I always do mine on the stove though. I do like 4ish cup of potatoes. 1cup carrots, around a cup of onions. And 3/4 cup of celery for veggies. I serve it with sliced Italian bread from Walmarts bakery. So good
Your bowl and boil explanation made me laugh. I’m a southern girl so I completely understand the differences. My little southern daughter lives now in Massachusetts. She has the same conversation with her friends over the words pen and pin. Lol
I have the taco meatloaf, with the recommended enchilada sauce, in the oven right now. I"m so excited to try it! I don't have a Gracie to feed the extra cheese too, but my dachshund, Auggie Doggie, was very happy to be a Gracie stand-in for that part. Thank you for all the incredible recipes and entertaining videos.
@@NGLaw56 Delicious! I highly recommend the recipe and the suggested addition of the enchilada sauce. The only thing I would change is to add some diced jalapenos or use the hot version of the rotel. It just needed a bit more of a kick for me.
Okay, the way Steven belted out Boiling Springs KILLED me! 😂😂 I can absolutely tell the difference between your boil and bowl, but I’m in Texas and my foreigner (aka non-Texan) husband and I have bickered over Jim and gym sounding different - I say they do, he says they don’t and he’s wrong. 😂 I gotta make that soup! Hope y’all have a great weekend! ❤️
I was just explaining to my husband about how people pronounce oil and the i in there is blended in... the boil and bowl conversation explains it perfectly!
Hey yall, I just love your family! And your recipes are always amazing, thanks! I say boil and bowl, just like you Mandy! We're certainly country girls! My cats love to see Gracie Lou,and hear her! She has a special place in our hearts 💕 Stay happy and safe, love you all!
Haha. This is Ken's wife. My grandkids are taller them me. The youngest one is getting there too. I am 5'3 1/2" he is 5'1". His 12 year old sister is 5'6" and his 13 year old brother is 5'10". Mom and Dad are 6'1". My youngest son is 5'4" and his kids are tiny. I love seeing your husband and son in the videos with you. You have a great family.
Taco meatloaf………that is on my list for this week. It sounded so good to me and my husband loves corn with meatloaf. Adding the corn was so simple but I never thought of that. Way to go Mandy!
Me too!! I looked for popular sides…believe it or not Spanish rice not one of them! Garlic parm potatoes..garlic bread..mashed potatoes but still think rice best…what is everyone’s opinion?
We saw this video the other day and decided that the roadkill steaks sounds (and looked) delicious so we tried them tonight and they were a hit. We will definitely be making them again
Made the taco meatloaf. OMG! It was delicious. I used a little enchilada sauce, at the suggestion of your hubby. Yes, yes. Opened a can of refried beans and boom, there was dinner. Easy and so tasty. Thanks.
Michele is right! I love doing pork tenderloins, as well as turkey breast loins, in the air fryer. Delicious! Also, when Steven hugged you after the "boil" / "bowl" conversation, I really thought he was gonna say, "Bless her heart." LOL
I live in Greenville, SC, and attended a university here. Best friend was from Indiana, and hubby is from NJ. I don’t have a strong southern accent anymore. It’s so funny and cute to hear you guys. Yes, the southern dialect IS all over the place. 👌🏻. All good.
Mandy and Steven, this is my first time commenting, however I’ve watched you for awhile now, with my 5 year old granddaughter, 2 year old grandson & 1 year old granddaughter. We all love your recipes, your amazing chemistry, the way you treat your subscribers, etc. The four of us plan our meals from favorites we’ve enjoyed!!! Thank you for being something we can not only do as a family, but we can learn new things every time. Not much of a cook myself, nor do I have things needed to properly do so. We try to do what we can. We look forward to watching all of you. Thank you for being something positive for my babies, Lord knows we need more great family content creators! Glad we found you few years back. P.S. when you need to cut cherry tomatoes, grapes, etc. get two plates, put whatever needs cut in between two plates. Place hand firmly on top plate. Take knife with other hand and slice through ALL items between the plates. It’s a great hack..
Made Beer, Bacon & Cheese Sloppy Joes last night and we loved them! Just put a cucumber salad with it and and had enough left over for lunch today! sent my daughter your utube site and the name, can"t wait for her to try it! Perfect for the weekend!
Your firecracker casserole is almost just like my cowboy casserole. Same ingredients except the spices you added to the beef which I will try. Tip: just mix your beans soup and rotel together much easier. I use chips instead of tortillas. It’s been a family favorite for years.
Great meals! Thank you so much, Mandy! We love you and Steven in the kitchen, bringing much laughter! Good food and laughter; who could ask for more?! I can't decide which recipe to start with; they all look delicious!💕😊
Hi Mandy and Steven......I laughed so hard when you were talking about "boiling"! GIRL, I say it just like you do so I know what cha talkin' bout! I'm in Georgia so us Southern gals have to stick together...LOL I LOVE IT 😁
I made the beer bacon and cheese sloppy joes and they were delicious and easy to make..I started with a half cup of beer but it continued to thicken to much so I added a little more beer maybe a fourth of a cup at time getting up to a cup total. My husband liked these but preferred the ones that I usually make
What an amazing selection of meals you offered this week. AND you pronounced Worcestershire sauce!! I had to rewind, girl! Just to hear you say it again and you said it twice!! 🤣🤣I want to try the Texas Road Kill recipe. That looks so delicious. Have a great week!!
This was one of my favorite videos! My husband and I are not big fans of sloppy joes but yours look amazing with the bacon and cheese in it also the taco meatloaf looks delicious. I love how you pronounce boil and bowl, you are both a lot of fun to watch!
Hello Mandy, love this week’s video. I just subscribed to thrive love it so far . It’s great that I can order regular items and my daughter can order her gluten free and dairy free products and she doesn’t have to run to the store all the time. And her bill is always much higher than mine. I’m don’t like going out to the food store much. And now I can get better thing then the store. So with that said thank you so much for putting that on your segment. We did do it under your link .
Mandy, I just learned this. Don't use spray oil on your nonstick cookware. The propellent will ruin the surface. You can brush oil or use a hand pump. It's the canned spray oil that wrecks the nonstick surface.
Thank you Mandy for recommending Butcher Box. I have been getting it now for two months and the meat is incredible and melts in your mouth! You are so right the quality and packaging is amazing. Doing the pro rump roast tonight love their pork but love their steaks more!
You two are awesome and always make my day! I am for sure going to try the roadkill steaks. Really looked yummy! I love your videos and look all the time to make sure I don't miss one. Hope you have a great week and can't wait for more recipes.❤❤❤
I really do like & appreciate your recipes & all the craziness . Y'all make me laugh out loud. Thank you Steven for your common tater comments. Love y'all.
My hubby isn't much of a soup person, but we made Jessica O'Donohue's cheeseburger potato soup a few weeks ago, and he LOVED it. It's now a regular on our soup list.
The first thing I made in the air fryer was Rack of Lamb, I use my air fryer for almost everything! I finally made David’s smothered chicken and it was delicious. I also made the creamy garlic pork chops, another winner. Everything today looked delicious as well!
I really enjoy Mandy in the making and lately her husband who makes me laugh at times and of course we can’t forget their cat they’re adorable cat that loves cheese
Love these recipe ideas! My daughter was watching the video with me and she was like mama she is your twin! Y’all talk the same and hate the M word! So glad I came across your page!
Mandy you’ve become in a very short time one of my most favorite cooks ! Love your cheery persona and family is super entertaining and sweet as you are! Please know you’re doing it better than anyone! I’m a 79 year old hip young lady, keep going girl!👍🏻❤️🙏🏻👍🏻❤️😤😤🙏🏻👍🏻❤️
Neat trick cutting up cherry or grape tomatoes - put a layer of them on a nearly flat plate. Place another on top of tomatoes and pressing gently (holds tomatoes still) now you can slice a lot of tomatoes at once by slicing between the plates 😊
I was raised all over as my father was career Navy, spent 7 years overseas then 11 years all over down south. When we moved back to Pennsylvania, I was always being corrected on how I said certain words ….Kin for can , git for get so on. I never I noticed but it drove some people from PA nuts 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
You are both so entertaining ❤! Steven absolutely cracks me up. I love watching him try your new recipes. (He is a keeper ❤). Personally,I love to cook and it is especially fun to cook for appreciative eaters.
My wife and I loved this episode, we made the Sloppy Jo last night, Stuck to the recipe and it was awesome, next time though we will add about a 1/2 cup of diced green pepper to go in with the onions. Looking forward to the meatloaf later this week.
I always enjoy your videos and this one was no exception. I totally understand your pronunciation of boil and bowl. I say them the same way! (I am from Georgia). My husband, who is from Indiana has always teased me about the way I pronounce boil. But what is bad is that in my first year of French class I was struggling with the pronunciation of the word, "huile". (which means oil). I asked my French teacher how to pronounce "oil". He said, how do you pronounce what? I said, "oil". I finally had to spell it for him. He got it and proceeded to tell me how to pronounce "huile". Apparently I know how to butcher the same word in two different languages! LOL!
OMG! I have been sitting here searching for videos for ground beef recipes (EASY recipes), and here you are. I can always count on you to have great ones to try. It is Sunday night, and I am trying to figure out what to cook tomorrow for dinner. OK, I am definitely going to make this meatloaf tomorrow. I need something easy on a Monday since I go to the gym for a 6:15 class and need to make something before I go to the gym. Wrote all of the ingredients on my Monday shopping list. I have tried several of your delicious recipes and can't wait to taste this one. BTW -= A New Orleans girl here, and it is pronounced "Tony Sa Cha Ree's." Keep your recipes coming. Oh, and please give that sweet girl some more cheese, please!!!!!
I love when you two discuss Southern dialects. Here in New Orleans, we definitely don't have a Southern dialect. We speak more like the people in New York. We call it a "Yat" dialect. it comes from "Where ya at?" meaning "How are you?" "How's ya MaMa an dem?"
I can totally tell the difference in "bowl" and "boil"...but then again, I have so many Southern friends, well the ear picks up on that! God love ya Mandy!
Everything looks delicious, I really like your husband’s reactions to all your recipes. I wish I got that type of response from my family. Thanks for sharing I will definitely try these recipes soon I have plenty of frozen ground beef. I’m trying to eat from my freezer and pantry. Love your channel ❤
Hearing you talk about "boil" vs. "bowl" had me in stitches! LMAO To my ear, there is really no difference how you pronounce them. Yet, you're so convinced there is a difference.
I think you and your family are adorable. I love your recipes. I have to say that in your discussion about boil it is a one syllable word. I have learned over my many years to add the additional syllables. Tonight we plan on roadkill steaks and salad. Take care and God bless.
My neice had her wedding reception in Boiling Springs. I made her wedding cake. Since we are northerners, all the way from upstate NY, we say Boyling Springs. No matter how you pronounce it, we love the area and love your channel.
I love how your family gets involved! Y’all are top notch! Recipes look delicious too and love your Amazon shopping page too I’m following! My first time here and I liked and subscribed! Y’all are one of my favorites here on RUclips! Love your butcher meat recommendation too! GOD bless you and yours!
On the sloppy Joes I'd skip the beef broth and add some bullion instead of reducing the beer. Just a suggestion. Thanks for the great ideas Miss Mandy!!
I don't know about anyone else, but as a fellow southerner I can definitely hear the difference in how you say bowl and boil. Love the video as usual ❤️
Mandy love your sow. I'm from northwest Indiana. There is a city here named East Chicago. We pronounce East as Eesh so its Eesh Chicago. It just depends on where your from. Love your accent. Lived in this area all my 70 years. Lol keep up the good work.
Taco meatloaf is a must try now. It's literally the reincarnation of Dorito casserole. I bet I like it better as a meatloaf. Genius! And there's room for texmex sides.
Butcher Box has been a fantastic value for me and my husband! We've been members for almost 2 years, from the first time I saw Mandy talk about the company. We order the regular custom box and add on any specials that appeal to us. The add-ons that we usually pick doubles the amount of food that we order. We order about every 4 months, but if our freezer is still stocked, we push the date out another month or two. The delivery date is always up to you. The food is very high quality, we've enjoyed every single thing we've ordered. The home delivery is a huge plus for us, as neither of us like to go to the grocery store, and we've had our groceries delivered for many years. The convenience of having many different cuts of meat in the freezer makes meal planning so much easier. I highly recommend trying Butcher Box!
You know why we all love your hubby!!??? Because of how he loves YOU ❤️🌹 It's so wonderful to see the love y'all have for each other ❣️
Love how Mandy's husband has such enthusiasm for being part of the new recipe testing group! Great Job everyone!
I know some viewers have commented that you shouldn’t give Gracie cheese because cats are lactose intolerant. So good news for you, cheese is naturally lactose free. Especially the harder cheese. The enzymes used to make cheese consumes lactose and turns it into lactic acid. So keep making Gracie happy.
Pro tip that pros dont use .. cube your cheese instead of grating !!! So much cheesier 👍

I can't wait to make the Greek corn salad it looks so refreshing also I made a visit to your Amazon shop all I can say is YES 🇨🇦🥰
Love these recipe ideas! My daughter was watching the video with me and she was like mama she is your twin! Y’all talk the same and hate the M word! So glad I came across your page!
You both are just a joy to watch and all your recipes look delicious!
I saw a video where a lady put wax paper in her hamburger press and they come out so easy - I have tried it and will always do it from now on 👍🏼
Mandy you’ve become in a very short time one of my most favorite cooks ! Love your cheery persona and family is super entertaining and sweet as you are! Please know you’re doing it better than anyone! I’m a 79 year old hip young lady, keep going girl!👍🏻❤️🙏🏻👍🏻❤️😤😤🙏🏻👍🏻❤️
Hillary, I’m same as you as a 73 years young hip fan❣️
I hear they're desperate she do pronouncement differently

Mandy = Desperate??? Who is desperate? What on earth are you talking about??
Your comment makes no sense at all, pure babble…
Neat trick cutting up cherry or grape tomatoes - put a layer of them on a nearly flat plate. Place another on top of tomatoes and pressing gently (holds tomatoes still) now you can slice a lot of tomatoes at once by slicing between the plates 😊
Awesome video. Looks all so delicious. You and Steven always make me laugh ❤️
Always enjoyable watching you and hubby laughing and having fun cooking! Great recipes!! ❤❤
I’m literally going to get everything I need to make each of these recipes .. that road kill dish looked SO SO good. And the salad with it…yumm
Making the crockpot cheeseburger soup as we speak
Great recipe for the Taco Meatloaf. ⭐️ I used one pound of beef, I used air fryer, 390 degrees for 25 minutes.
LOL!
I did! That is so funny, Blaze On!!!!
I did! That is SO funny, Blaze On!!!!
The salad looks sooo good. Everything looks delicious... can't wait to try this.
I just love your recipes! Also it's so nice to see a couple that loves each other and has fun together!!❤
I can totally tell the difference in "bowl" and "boil"...but then again, I have so many Southern friends, well the ear picks up on that! God love ya Mandy!
Go north for healthy food, go south for good food😤
Or come to California for both!!
I am enjoying how you are adding some Keto recipes. I love the cabbage dishes. Thanks Deb
Hi the mini meatloaf recipe turned out awesome we love it thanks so much have a blessed day
On the sloppy Joes I'd skip the beef broth and add some bullion instead of reducing the beer. Just a suggestion. Thanks for the great ideas Miss Mandy!!
I don't know about anyone else, but as a fellow southerner I can definitely hear the difference in how you say bowl and boil. Love the video as usual ❤️
Last night I made the taco meatloaf! Wow!!!! It’s a keeper!
Great recipes again Mandy, I love cooking with ground beef. Thank you for sharing xx
Ive watched this 3 times now and yall crack me up everytime. Thanks for all you do.
Add it to heavy cream and very fine soft cooked peppers and onions and serve over fish... is so good
