    Thanks Justin, I didn't know such a cleaner existed. Also, I use and really like the Vic Firth Dave Weckl series of sticks with a nylon tip. My Zildjian's started turning red and I contacted VF about three years ago when they changed the paint and they acted like it was new information to them. So now days I sand most of the paint off before using them. Thank you for your videos, keep up the great work! Rob

    i use neat liquid detergent for the mesh head (no brushing just half hour wait) then rinse with warm water & for cymbals "Mothers VLR" Spray, think it's the same as the 303 spray

    I think you can use a regular washing powder for a white clothes. I think that the result will be exactly the same.

    • @65Drums
      @65Drums  6 лет назад +1

      Yeah that’s definitely possible. But I didn’t test it, so I don’t know for sure.

    For rubber symbols I bought Dr Keddo Protectolan from R-Drums. Shipping to Australia was slightly more than what the product itself cost (€12,50) but it works really well and you don’t need to use much. It does start to wear off after a while especially around the edges where you hit the symbols. Just use a kitchen cloth to apply. Here’s the link:

    Hello Justin V
    What do you think about using washing powder or Vanish for cleaning carpets or removing stains for heads?
    Or can there be any auto chemistry cleaner for plastic?
    Regards Max

    Hey 65 drums , I have 4 accupads by hart dynamics and they have what looks like coated heads on them that are really old. Will the mesh heads of today work on them and will they sound ok. Also what module do you think would work best with them. I'm thinking of adding them to my drum kit.

    Hello everyone, can anyone tell me what these mesh heads are actually made of ? Is it just some sort of fabric ?

    I'm wondering how would it compare to regular OxiClean?

    • @65Drums
      @65Drums  6 лет назад +1

      Probably would work just as good.

    So I find UFO for cleaning but not one review of the mesh head. I'm thinking about the UFO for reasons I read about. But I can't HEAR it.

    I would bet its just Oxi clean in a salt shaker. Oxyclean and some of the generic versions look identical.

      Hey Justin, did you start using SD3? And will you use it more than a module? I know you prefer to use module, but SD3 sounds really fantastic!

    Dude, it's f'ing laundry detergent. Everyone has it in their house and it works wonders on mesh heads. Are they really bottling cleaning supplies now with their own label on it? Please don't showcase this nonsense. Next will be $6 healing crystals for your cymbals. E-drummers are so used to paying premium for things that sometimes common sense gets lost.

    • @golf-freq
      @golf-freq 6 лет назад +4

      I actually use the $6 cymbal-healing crystals, and lemme tell you this: They are worth their weight in gold! Not only do they completely heal my cymbals, they infuse them with mystical, good happiness stuff that you just can't find elsewhere. In my humble opinion, it's Behringer's finest product to date.
