Despite how this went you can tell Duck is really good, playing the grob like this is pretty impressive, especially against someone who likely knows every opening like the back of his hand
What’s crazy is the sheer amount of knowledge Hikaru has of the game. He has undoubtedly played against the grob far fewer times than Duck has played the Grob. Yet, Hikaru knows the entire position better. He knows the weakness of every move and can see straight through to the end game. Duck has studied and managed the grob for decades yet Hikaru can understand and know the position better in just 1 game. Crazy

Can someone explain to me why didn't (at 3:00) white play knight takes bishop on E6? Because in that case, black would be forced to move the queen (if they take whites knight, they lose queen to blacks bishop on D2). If they move the queen to a random position, the knight has a fork on blacks king and the rook. So if they move the queen back to her original position, knight can just take the pawn on C5, because its undefended. And if the move the queen to E7 (to both defend the pawn and attack the knight) the knight can just move back from where it came amd just come out on top (win a free bishop). I am obviously missing something, since they didn't play that move, so can someone explain what i am missing? I thought about if the qeen moves to G3 (check), i which case the king can move to F1 (to deffend the unguarded bishoop). Black then takes whites knight, but in return white gets blacks qeen in a position which isnt in a realy good (its neither attacking, deffending or threatening something).
Wow I didn’t see the mating threat from Hikaru’s bishop move. I was really confused by Duck’s rook sac. What a cool mating threat & impressive to me that Duck realized what was happening.

At 11:17, I think I prefer Bd2. Be4 can always follow later if needed. At 11:24, white is down a pawn; however, the path is clear for white to chase away black's bishop and even up the board. I favor white at that point, actually.
