humans don't play the same way computers do. Hikaru has said while certain positions seem worse off to him, the evaluation bar showed otherwise. stockfish is 700 elos higher than him after all.

i cannot comprehend how people at this level of chess can vizualize so many outcomes during a game and find solutions for said actions if played . i can barely find a mate in 2-3, i get that its practice but holy its insane

I just looked up this account, it was "Closed: Fair Play". When Hikaru or Levy say that they feel weird I usually find the accounts closed soon after.

I just started, currently in the 500s, and I had an opponent that played to checkmate with 92.8% accuracy. Some moves I can tell were pure engine.
Two days later I get a fair play policy notice. I’ve gotten two this week.

Good afternoon Hikaru. Recently I've been doubting my ability to grow/learn in chess and I just wanted to know what you think about my journey so far. I am in middle school (13 years of age) and learned how to play chess November 2021. As soon as I started chess after a month or two I became the second best chess player in my school at the online rating of 1000. I proceeded to play tournaments everyone once in a while competitively and reached a uscf rating of 800 over the board. Since then I have become 2000 online, have reached a 2600 puzzle rating, and am 1200 over the board. My issue is I have stopped learning. I have never had a couch or anyone to counsel me for chess I have learned by myself. I just wanted to know what do you think about my situation and if you believe I could become a gm? I want to know your opinion and tips so if you could please help I would really appreciate it. Thank you

Feel like once you reach a certain rating it should require some sort of identification. How many players are there really over 2000-2200ish rating that have never played an otb game? I'd imagine not a ton.
