I've been getting my ass handed to me by 1700 players on blitz. I feel guilty by taking pleasure in watching this. Like I'm a kid who got beat up and Hikaru is big bro coming in to layeth the smackdown.
Lol my friend is 1300 and beats me every time, I’ve only beaten him once. I feel the same wayz
600 elo is also here to support you guys 😤
The assery that is handed out will be handed back to you in due time.
Especially when they request a rematch.
300 elo here 😅

3:42 “very playable at the beginner level”
Also him: playing against an *1700*
The way he crushes the players I can’t beat 💀
hes had lots of years of experience
@@phxnkpl6yaudios30 years * experience
@@Javohir691 plus a stepfather who is a professional coach and guided him in his key younger years of peak neuroplasticity which shapes your brain plus talent
don’t let that frighten you bro
@@phxnkpl6yaudios I mean he was crushing guys at this level as a teenager. I think youngest ever GM at the time
I'm 1700 and knowing this is what I would look like against Hikaru is wow
Yeah, it is such a visual demo of an abyssal disparity in levels.
Yep, I'm 1300 and I'm pretty sure I'd get my ass handed to me with queen odds.
@@Jwhiz24I’m pretty sure he beat gothamchess with queen odds lol
@@Jwhiz24He has videos of him beating 2200-2400 players with queen odds. Botez gambit speedrun. So yeah, you'd get demolished.
Im 2400 and i confirm
Hikaru literally outsmarted Stockfish at a low depth for a few moves against Pinhas26! Stockfish evaluated his knight sac a mistake! Then a few seconds later, an inaccuracy and then soon it gotten the brilliant symbol as it realizes Hikaru's plan of passed pawn a few moves later and if not, the bishop on f6 is VERY strong even though opponent is up a full piece! AND Rook h4 is a an epic move going for checkmate (top engine move) rather than sacrificing a second knight which is the second choice of the engine
please can you tell me when it happened ? i am super curios . in a stream ? is there a reply of the stream or something or somewhere that can be found ? thank you so much
@@zazz_against pinhas26
@@zazz_ I vaguely remember watching it like 2 years ago
It was a knight sac on the kingside with the black pieces, the engine said it was bad but Hikaru believed himself and kept sahing "pick up the depth" and lo and behold it went to -3 or smth.
You have to look it up idk
ok thx man @@kral3046
Not to flex but I myself have done that before☺️
Literally, they need to start an Oscar award that would involve chess players.
Literally
That would be kinda cool actually. A lot of oppurtunities for cool categories.

"You don't want to stuck behind the wall, cause the white walkers going to come for you, that's not gonna be fun." Hikaru @ 23:21

“Actually this guy is playing pretty good here.” Proceeds to checkmate him in 5
- Hikaru
for a 1600 vs a 3200 he was playing pretty well
You have to give credit to a kid who made you feel little by his punch when other kids couldn't even tickle you .
Bet every single one of them reported Hikaru for cheating
It’s crazy how fast he sees winning moves. Insanity
22:47 Actually this guy is playing pretty well by the way
22:58 Now I take the bishop and mate him.
God I love watching this guy play and explain chess. It’s beyond awesome
I feel so bad to 1600-1700. It's like a 600 elo against Hikaru.
Sensei keeps getting better - both inspiring and frightening
hot damn! At the end of video Hikaru speed was so sick. speed and accuracy. Insta punishing every bad move of opponents
People need to understand that one move blunders are not one Move at all.
There is a lot that leads up to it. Pressure all over the board. Superior pieces and a lot of board control just to name some examples.
I can make any 1500 blunder pieces on command after a few moves just because when you pressure and control everywhere it's hard to find squares that don't allow tactics where your pieces can't be taken.
The 1600 don't play bad against Hikaru. It just looks like they do because he makes them Blunder.
What s your rating ?
2:10 everybody Is having a good day
Hikaru's opponents:😮
I wish Hikaru accepted the rematch requests, at least one rematch per person just to show them that they didn't get obliterated by ''luck''
Because that's probably what they are thinking.. ''omg I played so badly this game I'll surely get him in the next one''
for me its " oh wow he beat me so easily lets see what i did wrong the last time " i think rematches against people that beat you is really nice
I can guarantee you no one thinks Sensei is using this thing called "luck"
@@neshylein well, yes, but in this instance i guarantee you people who asked for the rematch didn't realize they were up against a super GM.
Idk that sounds kinda sadistic man
@@bee2690 BS.
I would ask for a rematch with a player like Hikaru, or any titled player. And I am not alone.
The best lessons you can get are in the form of losses to better players. You learn and grow more from losing to Hikaru than you would from a thousand wins over weaker players.
Value them if you want to get better. Get angry and run if you want to stay mediocre.
Im watching him mate without even flinching and I’m still missing what just happened 😂 I’m new to the world of chess but there’s still a lot to learn
I wish Hikaru will open a Chess Online Academy and shape a new generation of aspiring chess GMs

Notice how all of hikarus pieces are defended 24/7
"Oh wait, there's Mate in 1. I still will win this cause he's 1700" 🤣🤣🤣
Thanks Hikaru, you're helping me realize I'm bad
That isnt what happens at all. They make exactly the same blunders, but people at 1600 don't see it as a blunder because they're too busy thinking about how not to lose their own pieces
Bro 😂😂😂 You get stuck behind the wall the white walkers coming. Priceless.
23:28 that was a truly underrated reference on the fly.
l get demolished by 1200 players . 1600 players are already at upper intermediate-advanced level . Seeing Hikaru simply no diff them like whooping annoying kid's ass is absolutely brutual and satisfying to watch .
I'm 2200 rated and i learned a lot from this , putting pressure on the opponent is definitely worth it
so the fuck you're saying is that you reached 2200 and didn't even knew this? wow
Great play from a great player 👍
*Turns on captions* Ah yes, Ive always wondered why 60 otters play like this against Hikaru
Thank you for showing off some of these openings.
1700s questioning their life purpose after playing vs Hikaru.
I love Hikaru. He’s a pretty good teacher the way he does his videos.
So educational speedrun make more plz
yooo give the editor a raise 😂😂😂 that was hilarious
Damn, that is peak editing prowess during that intro LMAO
5:13 glad hikaru approves of gxf6 before i castle, because i do it a lot
The last flashy guy wasn't satisfied and wanted more from Hikaru
Its the damn pre moves. Its irritating when you see your opponent pre-moving strong moves every time. You know you are done
Great video! Thank you so much! 💚
22:35 even the good players like Jidle get steamrolled by this dude man.
4:50 Levy Bashing 😂😂
He is leveling up that account so fast!!!
I love that this vid got suggested in my feed cuz of Awards season lol
8:57 "It's actually mate in I unless he sees the Botez gambit" and me start grinning
My 1100 mind doesn't know why the opponent didn't play Nc2 at 16:34. Can someone explain?
Rook is defending that square
Qe7 maybe?
Good perception. The fork looks good, but White has a defensive resource which is after Nc2 they play Qe2 attacking the black queen which, at the moment, is undefended. Causing Black to force the queen exchange and White captures with the rook that was threatened by the black knight. If Black doesn't change the queen at that moment, the knight on c2 has fallen. So what was supposed to be tactical black became tactical white. Incredible, right?
You almost said the dingle berry variation and didn’t flinch 😂
Hikaru makes it look easy that's all
Amazing honestly mind blowing
2700 GM taking it on 1600's players feels like an adult man beating up on small 6 year old kids..:-) doesnt look like a fair fight, more rather like a sadist enjoying his advantage....:-))
Right after all the “bro thinks he’s Hikaru” 25:04 killed me 💀
great lessons!
That game against jidle was absolutely filthy
Honestly nothing surprises me after 2000 recently hang two pieces in row around 6th/7th move against me in 15 min rapid
"levi roseman" 4:48 LOL
I also play fast like this. Usually I blunder and lose in 10 moves 😂
25:53 dingleberry? 🤨😂
19:32 "Now I take the big black center here"
Wish I saw this live good content
great information
Online chess should make a rule that abandoned games against speed runners doesn't return lost elo.
Lol, loved the intro
4:18 was insane
"I guess you people all decided that the only person who could ever beat Hikaru Nakamura is Hikaru Nakamura himself" - Hikaru Shelby
🤣
drink some scotch
"mmm no, not right now"
18:40 Never seen a super GM Hikaru felt red flag alarm against 1700 pleb... I wonder what was the line if Hikaru didnt bring back the knight
he claims pawn broke the connection but also after moving or losing knight qh5 and already 3 pressure points around his king threatening some sort of mate
After f5, look at black's weak light squares. White's bishop on c4 is dominant along the diagonal facing black's king and black's light square bishop is crippled. As NTL said, a future Qh5 is one way to emphasize the weak light squares near the black king and there's nothing black can do to fix it. If white attacks correctly from here he should win.
If your question was about Nf2, black plays Qh5 threatening Qh7 mate and if h6 then simply Nxf7 and black has to play Rxf7, down already an exchange and a pawn with a raging attack continuing. Black has no chance in the resulting position.
I'm rated ~2150 otb btw
hikaru i want to see BLINDFOLD CHESS SPEEDRUN)) interesting how far can u go with it
I'm still looking forward to watching hikaru's oscar wiining movie "legendary openings"...
hikaru casually smurfin 💀💀. nerf this guy immediately
My favorite gm
Hikarus opponents are expecting someone with their level of calculation so they get smoked when they try to match his time usage (which they have to try to match cuz it’s blitz)
If they knew it was Hikaru they would know to take their time more and they wouldn’t be making as many blunders (especially the premove ones)
that's a good point
"Eat the tower in the corner" 😂
How isn't this in disrespect speedrun, bro shit on us all and got away with it
that overlay looks great
i love this intro bruh
It seems easy to answer, it can be translated like why people who cannot really play chess are worse than Hikaru who plays chess 24/7 and is a super GM. Very thoughtful question , we all thank you,Hikaru 🤣
they are catching ¨Hikaru fever¨
This was so satisfying to watch ...
when the commenter said "stream sucks" and hikaru said "very funny" my immediate reaction was... wow... hikaru literally doesn't care 🤣🤣🤣 love you hikaru.
People hate ego but when the ego is well deserved and he can flex it like that, it's amazing display.
hikaru is the goat of chess
Hikaru can edit 🔥
The answer can be even more simple: 1600 do not have same theory knowledge and experience with Hikaru who makes everything look so simple.
You got a challenge from Levy, all intermediate bots speedrun
>2800 rated player
>”why are 1600s so bad?”
Real Problem with 1400/1500s right now, almost every match i win is by game abandonment 🤦🏻😤
this video is so helpful.
He just winning so effortlessly
8:29 WTF? Thats crazy kewl! Those are some entertaining matches😁👍👍
2:07 Someone who truly has become used to the internet
bro eats the 1700s like nothing.
That e4 power move lol
It’s sad how many just resign instead of letting the checkmate happen. I’m but a mere 800 elo who couldn’t name a single opening but when I’m losing I let it happen so I can see how they get the final mate to learn ways I can do the same in future games.
Damn! It's jus hit me that your gap to mine is the same as mine to Magnus... Chess is brutal 😮
