This is my favorite speedrun 😂 something about low 1000 rated players trying to premove on a super GM unknowingly and lose all their pieces because of it is almost satisfying in a way 😂
Probably have a grudge like me on people who would rather play extremely fast than look for the best moves

Yep, agreed. My favorite point in his speedruns is when he gets into the 1500-1900 range (people just above my rating). Something so satisfying about watching him steamroll these guys after using bad openings to give them confidence 😂
The upper/mid 1000s are *just* good enough to have confidence in their skills and have that competitiveness... yet they’re still bad enough to where I can understand their moves and relate to their pain 😂
@@RMichaelHimself I'm 1500-1600 rated player and I can testify to this. Unless you are smart at attacking, I find that Its easy to accidentally weaken one's own position when trying to play aggressive..

Lol 10:42 I've done that some many times when I first started using the London, just being carless and pre moving.
At 9:05, for black is Bishop D5 a good defense?
You protect the mate, attack the queen (who has to move) and leaves two pieces hanging for white (the knight and the bishop).
So after queen to C8 check, black king moves, queen takes rook, and still two piece hanging for white.
EDIT: nevermind, stockfish propose Queen C8, King E7, Knight F5, and then black's position crumbles.
In fact, stockfish says that for black Queen takes Bishop is the best move.
Every time Hkaru say, "Everything is winning here..." and I see on the board and scream WHERE????

Yeah, I think this happens relatively often at even lower ELOs, although doing so while playing Hikaru is pretty tough

Yeah I have multiple games with 95+ accuracy, even in games I lose. It can happen when I’m down big material and the position is simple, and most of my moves are forced or obvious. I can get steamrolled and still end up with 97% accuracy.

At 18:54 how is that checkmate? Newer to chess. So this is probably why I'm confused. But doesn't the black knight just take queen?
As you can see rn black is in check and the only legal move would be to play Nc7, so hikaru noticing it, premoved Qxc7 which would be in this case checkmate

What your seeing is a premove. His queen at this moment is actually on c6 and the only legal move is knight to c7. So he premoved his queen to take the knight which is guarded by the bishop as well which is check mate
As you can see black was in check and the only legal move would be to play Nc7, so hikaru premoved Qxc7 knowing that the black knight would no longer be on d5, but on c7 where it can be taken with checkmate
