GMHikaru & Team- There are definitely programs out there that will auto count your wins/losses for you. John Bartholomew has a good one for instance. It might be worth looking into so you don't have to worry about math or remembering how many games you've won.
Hikaru Nakamura--- I would like your view as a knowledged expert in openingtheory on a little problem. I've found a openingline in Ruy Lopez and would like to know it's current name as the name in the book I have it from isn't what it's called in out modern times. The line goes: 1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Nf6 3. Bb5 a6 4. Ba4 d6 5. c3 f5 6. exf5 Lxf5 7. d4 e4 8. Ng5 d5 9. f3 h6 10. fxe4 hxg5 11. exf5 Bd6
Kirken Kabir >>> Thankyou for trying to be helpful. Now Please don't misunderstand my further answer. I knew it's called the Siesta variation. But I've hoped for something else as we'll. The book I have the line from calls it Siestavariation - Nesjmetdinovgambit to be exact. I've tried to ask this before but no one knew about it. Therefore I thought it could be know under another name. Not even the computers recognizes it as the Nesjmetdinov-gambit in the Siestavariation. This I find Strange because everything else in the book I can find online or check with a computer.
So the cheating i dont get... Using an engine or mega high rated in disguise and hikaru played a shit opening thinking a lower rated player and got battered early? Whereas solid opening and hes fine? I dont get it.
It is not a standard opening and a normal player at that rank would not be making the moves which were made and at the pace he was making them. There was no thinking on the other player's part into a weird opening, which was his test to see if he was really using an engine as an engine would not have to think about it while even a high level player would take more time. That is why he said he could have done a better job of hiding it. If he delayed a few moves rather then having the engine move for him, then that might have put some doubt into his cheating.
In a solid opening, a strong player and an engine is indistinguishable, they both can play the main line out. While Hikaru played irregular opening, that would immediately throw him/it at his/its own resources. From the moves a4 to d5, it is a refutation line that only engine can manage to find it in micro-seconds and win in a clear and clean style while a strong player would take at least a couple of seconds to figure that out. That's why Hikaru immediately convince he s a cheater after d5

I know this is 5 months ago but chat said the guy's account gained 1000 points in the last month and no person would gain that much in 30 days, if its a grandmaster then the account should be authorized and have the gm title on their username.also if a gm is making their own main account they would probably choose expert or if theres a master option when making account.
