Imagine chess high low. Swissdraw based chess tournament based on collecting most positive points or fewest negative points. Each piece has a point value. If you win, you earn all your opponents piece point plus you own piece points. If you lose, you get the same value as minus. This means a game win with promoted pawns give bigger win/minuspoints. Minus points not subtracted from positive points, seperated in two different leaderboards. Is this possible chess?

I just finished Michael Lewis' book "Going Infinite" about Sam Bankman Fried (SBF) and the collapse of FTX/Alameda Research. The one sentence summary: Sam was a scapegoat. What he did was illegally "commingle funds" which means he took money from investors in the FTX exchange and put it into Alameda Research. This is bad, and worthy of a civil action, but does Sam deserve 25 years in prison? No I say. Some lawyers who commingle funds are disbarred but not imprisoned. BTW, if you say, "well several hundred million was stolen from FTX in the closing days before it went bankrupt" keep in mind SBF was not charged with this theft, and for all we know it was done by others, with a bunch of suspects in my mind far more plausible than SBF, who comes across as autistic. Also the or gies and group ex "polycule" was media hype, never happened. Read Lewis' book. The parties that profited greatly from the demise of SBF were the public prosecutors who got their resumes enhanced by taking him down, and the bankruptcy lawyers who made about $1 billion (!), that is not a typo, in legal fees. SBF should have stayed in the Caribbean and fought extradition, in retrospect. Free SBF! He's as innocent as Hans Niemann is in not cheating OTB in chess.

I also believe Magnu's ability to stay relaxed and composed in tense situations is really high level, which is another reason he plays better moves than his opponents in the end games. The best move is to switch up your generic comment. But can he find it? Of course he can - they don't call him the GOAT because of his horns and magnificent beard.

15:10 what about Kh7? If e7 then Bf7. If Ke7 then Kg7. I guess it still leads to white king getting opposition and sneaking in on f6..

Praagmatic 😂 - brilliant commentary as always. Yes old Disney was the best, I was hoping for a “Ali-a-ba-bwaaa” rendition though. You should’ve committed
