Q
Wow, crazy how times have changed. Hikaru went from unknown Twitch streamer only known in hardcore chess circles to Twitch celeb in 2 years
*6 moves in*
HIkaru: Yeah this is gonna be a win i'll mark it down
Well hes not wrong
chalk it up*
Eats food.. goes to the bathroom..interacts with the chat..keeps track of hockey games.. loses his mind.. in the middle of the game but still beats the crap out of his opponents
That is hikaru nakamura
And with music on headphones
My guy he's not only a good chess player but a goat at tactics. He barely has to think just remember his tactics and use the right one for the situation
that guy can even play blindfolded chess and still talking with the opponent
15:40: That 1900 guy probably went right on his way to the police-station to report an unprovoked assault after that.
Nice likes
48:32 Hikaru: "So let's see, here here bla bla bla" *wildly places arrows*
Me: "Obviously."
1900 rated player got checkmated in 8 seconds ..lol
“Put the real hurt on him” 😂
Because that 1900 was playing world no.2 and U.S.A no.1
Time stamp?
@@anthonyy_vivid5438 16:30

Azumith is that friend who never gives up after getting smashed repeatedly goes home practices 24/7 and comes back to challenge you asap.
And still loses
That 1900 got rekt so quickly 😂 it was actually painful to watch . around 15:40
He wanted to demonstrate his speed to hikaru
I really like how this highlights how the games get more alligned to better chess as we go on. I struggle in the 1700-1800 range because I feel like I should be winning those games off instinct and waiting for a mistake like in the 1500 and 1600 range. But seeing Hikaru have to actually think a bit and pay attention in the position rather than just premoving the whole game really keeps me humble and inspires me to focus more in my own games in this rating range. If the best of the best has to focus a bit here, I certainly have to focus as well. Thanks Hikaru
what the hell is a clownpusher lmao that guy was salty af
we'll never know how salty until we gather a team of 4,000,000,000 IQ english professors to define clownpusher
Jim according to Urban dictionary a clown pusher is someone that plays with their erection by pushing it down and it comes back up and hits them in the stomach much like those blow up clown dolls you could hit/push and they come right back up... bizarre insult
Assume it means queen pusher. Moving queen allot?
It is simply a smurf, someone playing below their real skill rating.
Stephan Llewellyn maybe? I mean moving the queen too much is a thing noobs do a lot. I know because I suck at chess and move my queen too much. But when a GM does it and wins it’s not too much it’s just playing well.
The clown pusher guy could have a glorious time showing the game to friends and family with Hikaru saying he was playing well. Oops
Yeah it was a once in a lifetime opportunity for him but he decided to blow it away by insulting him
Yeah, except unlike you, he didn't know that.... I don't blame the guy.
BROis you don’t blame the guy for being a sore loser? If you can’t lose with class, you don’t have any, anybody can be a gentleman when it’s easy. Also the guy wasn’t even swindled(which would be more understandable), he hung a rook for crying out loud and he’s gonna insult the other guy?!?
@@andrewgoldstein6271 it's very easy for you to say, because you didn't get beat by the Hikaru engine. It's very easy to judge...
BROis I disagree. I’ve been beat by actual engines as well as stomped out by humans much better then me. There’s never an excuse to insult your opponent, it’s bad for chess and shows poor character but if you think insults are ok after blundering your rook, it’s your right to hold such an opinion. Although, I’d suggest you don’t play anyone OTB if you feel that way.
Hikaru: This guy is actually good he's been playing very well so far I might be in trouble...
Also Hikaru: *mates the guy in 3 moves*
elite grandmaster answering amateurs' questions: "Yeah, I did wash my hands you guys."
A 55 minute video from my favorite clown pusher :-)
48:33 exactly what i was thinking. very clearly winning simples
🤣
Give Azimuth a 1 month membership. He is the real trooper
I feel uncomfortable that he didn't get anything.
That guy was a trooper. After two losses I'm out. I couldn't imagine playing someone 10 times in a row and losing.
Yeah! Easily 1 month or even more. Azimuth FTW!
Hume bhi de dijiye kbhi gift 1 month membership beast bhai..😂😂
Should've give azumith a diamond momebership... poor guy didn't know what was happening to him lol
32:43
opponent: *hangs one knight*
naka: so that’s another win
😂😂
Player: misses an 5 move tactic
Hikaru: ill mark this as a win
YOU’RE BEING A CLOWNPUSHER HIKARU
What is a clownpusher?
This video, *THIS SPECIFIC VIDEO* ... is probably my favorite chess video on RUclips. It is *prime* “Pro vs Joe” chess content. Like 8 consecutive annihilations where Hikaru blitzes out an unstoppable attack on players who *aren’t exactly noobs themselves* . Just beautiful to watch lol
48:33 is like that scene in a beautiful mind where nash is writing on the window and im just like wtf? It would take me half an hour to analyze that position and i would still analize it wrong
I wonder how could he predict all of next moves possibilities so quickly
Opponent - *Makes Inaccuracy
Hikaru - Ok! Let's just mark it as another win..
He's definitely played that guy, in sub sunday right
Somebody, pls, turn off Hikaru's repeat option :|
there is no option available yet
Yeah it's funny isn't it. Such a smart guy
I was gunna offer him 1 month diamond but called me a clown pusher, so I'm not gunna give him 1 month diamond. He called me clownpusher so I'm not gunna buy him 1 month diamond because he called me a clownpusher.
hahahahahaha yes i wish i can hahahaha
*Don't* turn it off, that's the reason why I watch him lol
The game against the 1900 was one of the best games I've ever seen!
17:29 had me rolling on the floor
Imagine for a second that you have an ego so fragile that you blunder a rook in the endgame and call someone a clownpusher for it lol
he closed his account 1 day after this video was uploaded lmao.
@@ricsouza5011 probably got harassed by dozens of people lmao
6:33 - 7:08 good thing he doesnt say the same things over and over again xD
I didn't realize first but know im lmfao xDddddddd
2:52
LMAO!
HIkaru is such a great entertainer. Probably the greatest one man show in the world of Chess today!
Everytime hikaru is asking "Did I mark that as a win you guys?" He says it like 5 times in a row
Yes, he has something, dunno how to call it. He thinks at too many things at the same time and repeats himself for what ever reason
@@makerl1fe388 yea some downside of having high IQ
He says it 5 times because nobody responds
@@makerl1fe388 he has nothing dude.
@@thesavantart8480 He does have something. It's not autism or anything, just that he's thinking too fast, as Scalez0r said, people with high IQ often have issues like this one. It's not a mental disease, it's just a particularity
Hikaru, thank you for your play, your time and labor! And for your great attitude to people, who are not so kind!
Great stuff Hikaru thanks mate
24:12 I loved this combination.

Finally found the origin story of clown pusher. GGs
Jesus christ that was brutal lol. You absolutely merked that guy at towards the end...
36:54 King fully exposed, Ok this is going to be another win.
I like your stream Hikaru. You look happy and that made me happy. Thanks for the vid.
2:54 is the start of the Clownpushers Meme
48:32 dayum
Okay hikaru maybe is a robot repeating everything 5x
Walks away from table to use restroom while his clock runs down then checkmated opponent. Boss level 💯
Naka you are all natural, and you are so cool actually, I thought you were so strict guy when watching you in classic chess.
Wow exciting I'm a clownpusher! Kiddo calls me a clownpusher, and I didn't know I was a clownpusher. Was gonna give him a diamond membership cuz I give those out but he called me a clownpusher!
14:55 love it when hikaru says something about josh waitzkin. A very creative player but probably he could go further but decide to retire
The bug bean bug has expired.
I just realized he got the name clownpusher from cg863 at 2:48
honestly tho hikaru actually be a clownpusher no cap
Fell sorry for” in it to win it ‘’ guy,he lost many points but insisted to play
Hikaru doesn't have his anti-skip feature enabled.
Was he gonna give him a diamond membership or not?
@@HD-gu2em omg this answer needs to be given an academy award for irrelevance
@@martinet1985 wtf.... It's literally a relevant and complete psychological breakdown of Hikaru's motivation, and a pertinent answer to the question.
@@martinet1985 Clearly the answer was beyond your intellectual capacity.
@@SeanMcGibbon "complete psychological breakdown"...
Hikaru is freaking awesome.
That game at 15:40 was so brutal. i love it haha!
l love your speedrun series...l learned so many things...
Opponent: plays e4
Hikaru: that’s another win
the game @ 15:40 that's not pushing someone off the board.. that's pushing someone off the game of chess for life!
it is absolutely amazing how easily Naka wrecks his opponents. of course it comes as no surprise since these guys are much lower rated. nonetheless, his talent is beyond brilliant.
on a side note, has Hikaru ever played Magnus in 1/0 bullet with no increment? that's what I want to see.
i thik not and i thing that 3/0 either (3+2 gave him a beaten but 3/0 is not the same.
look at this ruclips.net/video/5W3rgC7tEac/видео.html (magnus playing 3/0 vs random oponents)
his ways of playing are like water and oil. magnus plays super correct and positional even 3/0 (practically without innacuracies) but think pretty much.
While hikaru plays like a savage and practically instantly.
a match would be super interesting (i think hikaru could flag him a lot, although magnus is much magnus)
No, but I believe he played magnus in the 2017 SCC
How has he not played a single cheat yet, in both speedruns?
8:45 near fatal mouse slip
Thanks to that salty 1800 for the birth of the ClownPusher Bongcloud speedruns we've all come to enjoy so much.
Do I ever get tired of winning? What kind of question is that?
The appropriate response. Who tf gets tired of winning??...
Hikaru "mark this one as a win" Nakamura
Legend says that azumith wants another rematch where He will finally beat hikaru...
6:36 fuck man I laughed so bad with his repeating thing.
this guy is in it to win it...which isn't good when you'll never win
Lets just play positionally here- actually lets go for the murder death kill
LMFAO
14:19 he never did a blind speedrun so far :(
Will you ever do online lessons? Pawn structures, Endgame, Openings?
Hikaru is one impressive "clownpusher".
Hikarus brain gets stuck on a loop repeating the same sentences over and over. Its like hes trying to calculate a new variation of the sentence but it just turns out to be the exact same thing but with one different word or words flipped
2:50 and the legend is born

Such a powerful move 23:38
19:31 chesparov has a very bad connection; probably not intentionally disconnecting. But then again it WAS mate in 2!
The bug bean bug has expired.
How long ago was this speedrun? The finals were weeks ago!!
I go on twitch and never see you do live videos? How do it work?
I think he streams directly from chess.com
No he streams on twitch. Just turn notifications on so you know when he goes live
Very interesting comment regarding the memory of a Super GM (47:09 ). Did it become so great mostly because of playing chess or is it more of a genetics thing?
the memory of a GM is great no doubt, but mostly regarding chess. Anyone who specializes has a great memory at one thing. Drivers who drive 10 hours a day for years know every single bump on the road after driving once there. Because theyre so used to what they do, they have almost a perfect memory. For example a professional cook is better at remembering recipes than hikaru even if hikaru's memory may be superior. However genetics is also a big part (as well as many other factors that made Hikaru what he is in the first place)
@@user-gx6dl6lt9c I agree, but in this case Hikaru was remembering the username of a random player, so that wasn't chess memory at all. It is clear that his memory is quite good in general (not only in chess). I wonder how much chess contributes in improving general memory.
Clown pusher villain origin story. its funny becasue in a future speedrun hikaru uses the username clownpusher
15:39 what is the name of that opening?
I am not even a good player. Yet i like to watch you play. Thank you for being humble and inspiational.!
Can anyone answer me how i do a premove? I mean... i m quite new in chess.com and i d like to know.
54:40 to end of video: Me listening to my wife at the end of a long day at work....
Damn Hikaru Tryna pad that exam word count 6:44-7:08
Hahahahaha
15:38 it ended in a flash
So this was the inception of the clownpusher bongcloud account
Disconnecters are annoying, but you know what's worse? when they don't disconnect and let just let the time run out. It's especially infuriating when you're playing longer games and they still have a lot of time on the clock.
Why does the random pieces disappear
Ye, around 1750+ players start playing the first 15-20 moves well, but we still blunder a crap ton haha.
What did the guy mean by clownpusher?
the closest term I've heard is wood pusher, meaning patzers who simply move pieces without purpose. that's where he probably got the term pusher from. the clown part is him insulting Hikaru b/c he's pissed. however, the actual two words put together don't make sense honestly, lol.
there are these inflatable clown punching bags for kids which they punch and push. so "clownpushing" would probably mean the same as woodpushing - to play very fast, with no tactical creativity or deep positional ideas, just waiting for opponent to blunder. it's a hilarious term when you think about it lol
I thought clownpusher is like sandbagging? It means he’s bullying people way below his level.
The birth of the clownpusher namesake 😂
Azimuth is da real trooper, i feel bad for him
ill be sure to be as polite a loser as i can be if i run into hikaru and he steam rolls me so i can get that diamond membership.
worst way to be reminded of B's loss.
and just like that, a meme was born
9:45 ah I understand now.. 😂😂
32:10 beautiful
Whats that song? Sounds great
When does hikaru stream on twitch? Please tell me i want to see a stream🙏🙏🙏
Haven't watched him in a while, but around 2-3 months ago he used to stream when it's late evening in Europe
@@komet5420 Ok thank you:)

@@saadjsayed what language is it?
Twitch has notifications you clown pusher
So,im not sure, was he gonna give him a diamond membership or not,and why was the other guy in it???
No, he was never going to give him anything, he just said that after the fact. If anything, azumith definitely deserved something for getting adopted and nothing happened. So it was just empty chest-beating from Hikaru. Very unlike him, actually.
He's given them out in the past to lower ranked players who gave him a good game. There's to reason to doubt that Hikaru would have done the same this time, too.
