    On Behalf of those without health insurance and access to medical care. I wish to offer you all our heartfelt gratitiude Dr Rowe for your magnanimous sharing of these amazing life savers. A lot of these can be practised in a tent after a days cycling and give instant relief and also can be done late at night as a way to keep warm and then go back to sleep.

      Great comment. I too seek professional and credible advice from doctors and physiotherapists who post on YT. This lesson alone would cost a minimum of $125 when seeing a doctor in person.

      Not. I just came home from vacation where I watched many of his videos, and did exactly what he said. Not just him but others. I have no relief nothing helps. In fact I’ve just gotten worse and worse and worse. My back does not hurt. It’s in my buttock area and I’m convinced it’s the piriformis muscle. I have done the leg hang the bed hang the cross the lake over and pull up I’ve done every exercise I’ve seen, and nothing helps.

    • @majorpuggington
      @majorpuggington 9 месяцев назад

      @@cyndimanka I'm sorry you're hurting, I know the feeling well. If there's one single exercise that is above them all it's probably the bridge. Gentle pirformis stretches may help. For me it's finding the sweet spot with stretching strengthening and rest, finding the balance between them can be elusive. Side leg raises and clam shells to his the glute media may help. I hurt mine fighting a 400 lb snowblower and lifting around a 200lb ALS patient. Try some easy hip strengthening exercises too.

    After watching 1 million including many of yours, I still am in severe pain. First, I thought it was this then I thought it was that, but now I am convinced that it is my piriformis. I do stretches I do all of these things that everybody says to do and I am one month in and no relief in fact, it’s worse. The pain that goes from my buttock down my thigh to my foot is now on the inside of my calf. Everything is irritated. I have been on muscle relaxers and hydrocodone, which I do not take anymore. I’ve tried Aleve. I’ve tried everything and nothing helps. The one thing that does give me relief is laying on my side pillow in between my legs and kind of curl up. That takes a lot of pressure off for some reason. I have to get an x-ray, and then hopefully an MRI to see what exactly is going on.

      Think you should always consult a GP where you are. No expert but a bit of both works well for me; stretching and rest. You may need relaxation too, which is different from pure rest. For me passive Psoas release makes a huge difference. My gait was also off, it is much better now. At some point your body will tell you what it needs.

    Just found a way to prevent back muscle spasm when standing up from a seated position. Simply place each palms on your laps as near as possible to your hips and press against the laps as you stand up. In this manner it somehow deactivate back muscles from firing and pulling to strongly which in turn helps reducing or even stopping pain during your healing period. Try this to see if it works for you.

    My husband gets lower back pain and we have figured out it comes from his hip joint...something deep and soft tissue between his upper most femor and his pelvis bone inside the gap between the two about mid buttock. If he lays on his stomach and brings his knee upward, close to his body to open that joint, I can run my fingers down the gap in the joint and feel something puffy and it's tender and after I start gently reducing its sensitivity, I can massage it and it brings him relief in his lower back. WTF is it?

    They don’t work. Please quit saying you have something that will immediately relieve pain.
