For the past two months, I have been suffering from sciatica nerve pain. I have watched many videos and sought various treatments, including visits to the doctor, emergency room, acupuncture, cupping, massage therapy, and physiotherapy. However, none of these explained sciatica as clearly as you did. This is the best video I have ever seen! Now, I am gradually recovering from sciatica. The shooting pain in my hip and leg has subsided to just less buttock and lower back pain, which were the initial symptoms before the sciatica developed. According to my doctor, based on the X-ray results, I have a reduced disc space at L5-S1, which is pinching the nerve. The most beneficial exercises for me have been hanging from a bar and doing the cobra position. I have watched several of your videos, found them very helpful, and have subscribed to your channel. Thank you for your videos!
Two years and counting and I am having sciatica pain. Seen 2 spine specialists, 2 physiotherapists, 1, CMT, and 2 anesthetists. None of them was able to explain or diagnose me like this video! I am so grateful for you! Thanks load!
Hi Salem. I'm so sorry to hear about your struggles with sciatica. Have you tried any of the exercises yet? Please do let me know which are most helpful. Wishing you a speedy recovery from the PWG family Best wishes, Ashley.
@@PrecisionWellbeing Hi Ashley, Thanks for your comment! The best stretches are the ones where the heel of the leg with sciatica is placed on the other leg knee then pull both legs to the chest. I found this strech with its alternatives are the best. They gave me instantaneous relief. Thanks again!
Don't you wonder why they can't figure this out? I mean it's pretty clear the symptoms that we have do the doctors just want to keep you in the system and keep spinning their wheels so they can keep pulling money out of us
Wow!!! What a relief. I have been in pain for over 12 years. This is the first time that I understand what is happening to me. Thank you for the time and care you put into explaining it.
This is one of the most accurate and detailed video about the sciatica pain I've ever come across, the explanation is understandable to no scientific person without any hassle and thank you so much for helping us out with what can be done in a minimal yet effective way to come out of the pain.
I've watched a lot of sciatica videos these days, this one is absolutely the most informational and detailed, covering different sciatica causes and explaining actions based on your symptoms amazingly!!
Have been paying a physio therapist for several months to assist with minimizing or elimination of pain due to sciatica. At no time has he ever explained the different causes of the pain and which is the reason for my issues. This video shows a number of causes, simple ways to test what is causing the pain, then ways to alleviate the pain. Thank you so much for this. I highly recommend this video!!
Omgoodness! You are so greatly generous with the exercises knowledge and with the showing of the parts within our bodies.. Thank you!.. for being so kind and generous..
Thank god for people like you, there is so much hocus-pocus on the Internet today. Especially on RUclips! it’s refreshing to have someone as knowledgeable as you describing things like this. I have been having a serious problem with my sciatic lately and this is helping very much. Thank you so much for this video I have subscribed and will look forward to more!
Hi Ron, You're absolutely welcome! You're so right, its getting increasingly difficult to sift out legitimate content online generally. So glad to hear the video was helpful. Do keep me updated on your progress. Wishing you a speedy recovery! Best wishes, Ashley.
You are most welcome. I am happy to hear that the video has been encouraging and I am looking forward to hearing some positive feedback on how it goes with the exercises. Best wishes, Ashley.
Hi Ashley….24 hours into doing your stretches and I slept for a whole night painfree 👍🏻All my Thanks to you for your videos. Greetings from a Norwegian on holiday In Greece. Maybe I will be able to travel back home soon. (Again, so thankfull for your videos). 🌺
Hi Isabell. I am so happy to hear that you are already noticing some improvements. Please continue to keep me posted on your progress. Best wishes, Ashley.
I know you've trained and worked so hard and this is an informative video you put together, but... I'm actually crying with relief. I cannot thank you enough. I had to quit my job because I couldn't sit down for 12 hour shifts. You've given me a light at the end of the tunnel. Thank you 💜
@PrecisionWellbeing 😢😢😢z Thank u brother 🙏🏼 ur a God sent I'm literally in tears 😢 I've been having sciatic nerve pain for a week now and it's miserable 😫 I now know the reason some ppl off themselves bc the pain is constant and unbearable. Thank u from the bottom of my heart ur stretches have helped bring joy 😊 back into my life. Leeroy from OREGON U.S.A 🇺🇲
Sir,you have meticulously explained the facts, but I want to know how much effective are these stretch exercises as I am doing these for last 6 months but to no avail
Thank you for explaining my buttocks pain thoroughly. I started doing your exercises this minute. I found it also an excellent advice to just do three exercises that work and stick with it.
Thank you so much for your generosity. I know most of the exercises (some we do at the gym) but was afraid to move even a iota of my muscles, so afraid I would compound the situation. I have been living, sitting, sleeping, driving, climbing stairs up and down with acute pain for about a year. I just walk or run a tiny bit, and use cold/hot showers/packs when the pain is atrociously extreme. I have deserted the gym and just hitting the pool this winter was too cold I thought to my taste, even when the water was warm! I have become grumpy and impatient because of the pain. And sedentary! And as you said, the more pain, the less exercise, and the less exercise, the more pain. Doctors I have gone to tend to give medication but are not interested in showing you how you can get rid of pain with simple exercises and without much medication. Actually they are not entirely sure about physical therapy and have asked me to wait ???? I cannot take NSAIDS anyway, even occasionally, because of medical reasons, and Paracetamol cannot relieve the pain/over a substantial period of time. I understand what you said about tolerating some pain as inflammation is part of the healing process. I have started the exercises and they are great for me. I hope my situation will improve and that I won't need surgery. Your videos are very inspirational and the explanations great. I was really lost. God bless you.
This is the best explanation of sciatica. I have had the problem for 15 years and watched endless videos and gone to dozens of doctors and physical therapies, even had my injections. Well versed, well informed. You have a thorough understanding of sciatica. please accept my little donation as a way of gratitude and encouragement. You make my life less stressful. Hope yours is a wonderful one. Blessings.
Sir you are amazing!!! I have watched other videos on this and no one ever said that you could have sciatica in the gluteal muscles. I did the exercise and found out where my pain came from. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Now I know how to help myself better. This was helpful, informative and brilliant!
I particularly liked your demonstration of the path of the piriformis. Your exercises are very helpful and I was able to determine the I have pain in the buttocks and the higher area as well and why. Thank you for posting this very informative video!
Hi Eleanor. You are welcome. I am glad that you found the video helpful. I hope that the stretches help. Do let me know how it goes. Best wishes, Ashley.
Hi Ashley Having sifted through so many videos trying to identify/understand the pain I have been experiencing, I am so glad I found yours. You are so clear and precise with your explanation about the different causes of sciatica I actually understand it now!I am going to follow your advice and do these particular exercises to relieve my sciatica which starts from my buttocks down to my leg. Thank you so much.
Hi Mal Samra, You're absolutely welcome! I'm so glad to hear you found the video informative. Have you seen a doctor about your Sciatica yet? Would definitely help to ascertain the diagnosis is correct. Please do let me know how it goes with the exercises. Wishing you a speedy recovery. Best wishes, Ashley.
I am suffering in agony with this sciatic pain. I don't know what to do. I am really scared. I do not want to be a cripple and cannot walk. I will try these stretches. Wish me luck guys.
I'm so sorry to hear that. Have you tried any of the stretches yet? Please keep me posted on your progress. Wishing you a speedy recovery from the PWG family. Best wishes, Ashley.
@@PrecisionWellbeing Thankyou so much for asking about me. I am doing much better, I have started walking a little bit now. I still have the pain in my upper leg by my buttocks and mid calves. I cannot stand too long or sit either. I went to see a chiro doc because of my doc. But he made the pain worst and he press on my back so hard near my kidneys that it is so sore. So I stop going and used ice and heat which helped a lot. So as soon as I can, I will attempt some of your stretches. I know it will be good. I also got a tens unit I would try to use it but don't know how. Thankyou so much again. Blessings🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 Ps. Can you tell me where are you located?
This is the best sciatic pain video. You explained the sciatic nerve anatomy so clearly, I not only confirm my diagnosis, also known what’s the reason that causes my sciatic pain. I did you suggested stretch for two days, the pain is gone. Thank you!
Wonderful!! I've been having these extreme pains in my lower back, through my butts to my legs. I watched your video just yesterday when i thought i was going to die from these pains, tried the exercises for a couple of times and.....it was like you've been the cause of my pains. I'm much much better now, and hope to religiously continue. Thanks a million
I found this video today and yes it was amazing. It''s certainly not nice to cause pain to other but the bottom line is it's great to be a pain reliever.
I have watched quite some videos on the subject and you have explained in yours with such care and clarity. This is so good and really helpful. I feel safe to show this to my aging parents. Thank you.
Thank you for such a thorough explanation of what sciatica is, how to pinpoint exactly where the pain is coming from, and which ROM PT exercises/stretches that can be done to hopefully relieve sciatic nerve pain. Thank you.
I have gone through a good number of Sciatica videos, this one is the best .... so far. Very informative explaining. Showing the methods to identify the causes and how to the illuminate them. I am now following your suggestions and hope that I will overcome the pain soon.
Amazing! I just tried the 'chair' stretch for about 15 seconds, the agony in my left leg has gone instantly, it's been bothering me for months. Thank you so much! You explanation is very clear. I'll keep doing the exercises you suggested.
Hi @T Hsiao, You're most welcome! I'm so glad to hear the video proved informative and that the stretches are helping. Please do keep me posted on your progress. Best wishes, Ashley.
My lower back only hurts while standing on my feet I had a sudden bowel change movement but I can’t take a shower take a short walk cook anything. Standing on my feet is unbearable
This is very comprehensive explanation of the sciatica symptoms I have had for three into four years now. I have seen a full spectrum of different therapists and still not able to find a solution to be completely pain free. I think it is because I have not find the root cause of why my right side glute will not shut down to trigger everything you described in this video. I can sense compensatory patterns in my body, making me believe it is beyond just the musculoskeletal level. Some nights I have very irritated nerve reaction in my right leg that feel like restless leg syndrome, but I am pretty sure it is related to sciatica. Maybe one day I will be able to find the last puzzle piece.
Thanks for this video. Has helped me a lot. I’m 57 years old, diabetic and have a little of arthritis. Also, my health insurance doesn’t cover physical therapy. Lately I have been feeling pain in my butt spreading to my legs. Knowledge and exercises are helping me a lot.
You're absolutely welcome Nidia! I'm so glad to hear the video has proved helpful. Please do keep me posted on your progress. Wishing you a speedy recovery. Best wishes, Ashley.
Sir, I believe you are a life saver! My pain was unbearable until I did the chair exercises and hanging from the door frame! I have a chiropractor appointment tomorrow, which i will still go...but i can explain to him what happened.
Thank you so much for the information. I have been in pain for almost 2 months and no one told me to find out from where it is originating. I have been doing targeted exercises for the past 24 hours and am feeling an improvement. I was able to even walk after so long. 💜
I can’t thank you enough for this video, I’ve had two sleepless nights and have been hobbling around in so much pain over the past two days but I watched this video which explained what’s going on so we’ll that I pushed through and tried your exercises and have been getting up regularly to hobble around and this evening after my 4th set of stretches (every hour) I was amazed to be pain free!!! What an amazing feeling, I could cry. Thank you so much ☺️
@@PrecisionWellbeing thank you. Planning on some big life changes now as I’ve been at a desk 10 hrs a day and am over weight. I’m going to keep doing these simple stretches then build up from here. Small steps like you suggest in another video 😉
That's great to hear!! Small changes consistently will give you some great results! I'd love it if you could message me back in the future to let me know how you're getting on. Best wishes, Ashley
Excellent presentation - so very well explained. I now think that my sciatica is being caused by the Piriformis muscle. I am 77 and first had the problem after ballroom dancing when I had been twisting my foot outwards due to a new step I was learning. This all makes sense now and without your help I would not have known. I am 99% sure that I don't have back problems thanks to you. I can now focus on the right exercises for my particular problem. Thanks once again.
A very useful video. I couldn't work out where my pain was coming from but now I'm much clearer. I've been doing yoga which helps but your exercises are very specific. Movement is the best thing for me as I have most pain at night& when I get up. So I have to do exercises straight away. I'm 83 so I'd like to say that there's a lot of hope for the elderly if we're careful & don't overdo it. Thank you!!
Thank you so much My name is Shema I live in Rwanda I have the sciatica issue I was confused after going to reflexology but now this video has driven me to better understanding of sciatica..thank you one more time..sending love from Rwanda
Great info and video! Again, I thank you for this detailed explanation of the sciatica nerve. I am a 72 year old triathlete who had to stop training for a year because of the coronavirus. Needless to say, my sciatica flared up from inactivity. Your video helped me get back on track. Again, thank you!🚴♂️🏊♂️🏋️♀️👍
You're most welcome, Arturo! I'm so sorry to hear that. Please keep me posted on your progress. I hope you continue to make improvements. Best wishes, Ashley
Thank you so much for this information! I’m doing two of these and omg!!!! I can walk with a minimal amount of discomfort. Prior to this video I was in agony trying to get out of bed or walking into work. Thank you Sir!!!!!
It's been 2 weeks since I could walk, sit, stand bend properly. I really had difficulty doing all that until I saw your youtube video. I tried it and after I followed all the exercise it felt so much better. I'm more mobile now than I was 2 weeks ago. I just hope the pain at the spot at my back would go away. Thanks a lot this helped me so much.
Hi Ashley. I've been suffering for a few weeks now, watched a fair few videos and been stretching and have seen slow progression. However, I didn't know until watching your video and doing the tests, that the cause of my sciatica is stemming from the piriformis muscle. The way you explain everything and the detail you provide is amazing! Can't thank you enough. I've now got a targeted list of exercises to work with as well. I'm off to go hang from a pull-up bar in my local park! Thanks again buddy. Sending you love and good wishes. Mo
Hi @evodbr, You're most welcome! Glad to hear the video was helpful. Do let me know how it goes with the exercises. Wishing you a speedy recovery! Best wishes, Ashley.
You're most welcome Cynthia! So glad to hear the stretches are helpful! I hope you continue to make good progress. Do let me know. Best wishes, Ashley.
Mine really never goes away. With rest the pain is very little. But soon as activity is introduced pain increases. Simple standing or sitting for short time increases pain and burning down leg .
My sciatica is worse when I've been inactive for 30 minutes. Once I start moving around, I can keep going pretty much. But I'll be glad when it goes away. But very helpful video. Some of this I feel I had figured out already, some of this I didn't. Thanks!!!
Im 34years old i am experiencing Siatica right now because of stretching i force my hards to reach my foot without folding my knee, your guide will help me a lot I will do this tomorrow, Thank you for this fully detailed video
Thank you so much for this informative video, it’s a big help to find out where and what is my pain. And all the recovery stretches too. Hope to see more of your video. . Greeting from Singapore 👍
Hi @Joyce Chew LC, You're absolutely welcome! I'm so glad the video was informative. Please let me know how it goes with the stretches. Wishing you a speedy recovery! Best wishes from London, Ashley.
Thank you so much, I've been looking for these answers every where, I even went to chiropractor and Dr's. Again thank you so much for explaining this 🙏🙏
Thank you so much I’ve had painful sciatica nerve pain for years ,I have already did 1 surgery and they want to do another . You explained it so well.Thank you again because I believe that you saved me from surgery again,!🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
That was a very clear description and I will start as of tomorrow, as I have been lying down from sciatica for 2 months now, and 2 infiltrations done, but the pain is still there, thank you very much for this great video!!
AWESOME Information! THANK YOU!!! I am suffering right now with a pinched sciatica nerve and severe pain! OMG Starting exercises today and will report back! Thank you again!
Great video, thanks! Any ideas on muscle-related hip pain/tightness/sciatica that is actually aggravated by hanging? I've been dealing with a nagging left hip issue since June that seems to have coincided with kettlebell workouts, and I've seen numerous professionals with only moderate results so far. Stretching and massage with a softball help the most, but the pain and tightness are particularly bad in the morning.
Dear doctor, the exercises you suggested are so great that I feel the results right away. In addition, the tests you suggested really helped me because I now know what is the root of my pain. ❤❤❤❤❤ thank you, thank you so much!
Extremely informative and accurate after experiencing this last year and recovering. Walking, heat and exercises with osteopath support for releasing piriformis muscle worked well. Very painful for 4 months before sciatic nerve calmed down.
great clear explanations and the "spine model" helps visualize what is going on. So much more clear than other RUclips videos on the subject. As an engineer type person this was very helpful to visualize and be able to explain to my GF who is having a very painful episode of sciatica this morning!... from your description it seems to be a lower back issue rather than a buttocks one... I forwarded the video to her, hopefully doing these exercises this will help her recovery. Thanks!!
You're absolutely welcome Max! Glad to hear the video has been helpful. Please d let me know how your GF progresses. Wishing her a speedy recovery. Best wishes, Ashley.
Dear Ashley, thank you very much for your great, very informative video and your very clear understandable English. I am so happy I was able understand every word you are saying. I used to use every movement you have showed for a long time and I believe it kept me more or less fit in my 60+. I highly recommend your video to everyone who is fit and especially who experienced health problems related to muscles and nerves ❤ from Moscow with respect and gratitude
amazing, thank you so much. I've been in pain with sciatica for over a year. Your detailed explanation is one of the best and it helps me understands it better. This video means a lot to me and to many others as well.
You are most welcome. I am sorry to hear about your pain. I do hope that you begin to make improvements. Please let me know how it goes with the exercises. Best wishes, Ashley.
I tried the backward bend while sitting down & it caused quite a bit of pain in my lower back, buttock & hip joint only on my rightside. As i watched more of your video here, i've learned some stretches that i feel may be quite helpful, so i will try them, thank you very much & in awhile after doing these stretches, i will write a note here to let you know what helped, maybe it will in turn others in pain, i surely hope so, thanks.
That's great to hear Melody! You're absolutely welcome! I'm so glad you found the video helpful. Looking forward to hearing all about how it goes with the exercises. Wishing you a speedy recovery! Best wishes, Ashley.
For the last 10 months or so Sciatica has been a big problem for me. My primary doctor just prescribed inflammatory medicine and rushed me out of his office and nothing has changed after 20 visit later with my chiropractor. I just finished watching your video and I am absolutely educated about Sciatica than ever before. I will do the suggested exercises and I will come back with updates. Thank so very much for posting this priceless video.
You're most welcome. I'm glad to hear that the video was helpful and that it shed light on your sciatica pain. Do let me know how it goes with the exercises. Best wishes, Ashley.
I love how you can explain anatomy so clearly to people like me. And thank you for the hip exercises 😉. I'm a new subscriber because I know I'll learn more things from you. Keep up the good work. Btw, please let me know the make of the trainers you're wearing, if you don't mind. I'd like to get them for my son.
Hi Elize thank you, I'm glad you found it helpful. If there's anything else you would like to know about please let me know. The trainers are from FitFlop. They are OK but probably not worth the price. Best wishes, Ashley
You're absolutely welcome! So happy to hear the video was informative. Please keep me posted on your progress. Wishing you a speedy recovery! Best wishes, Ashley.
Best explanation l’ve really gotten!! The visuals help so much!! Why don’t osteopathic professionals take a lesson in how to explain injuries to patients , and what physical therapy and yoga can do to help, from your channel?!?!
Thank you so much @Lore Bazemore ! I'm so humbled. So glad you found the video insightful. I hope the exercises are helpful. Do let me know if you try them. Best wishes, Ashley.
Thank you for your very informative presentation on sciatic pain and its potential root causes. I will now start employing the exrcises for piriformis muscle stretching and contracting. I have lost 7 kg recently and now walking every day 2 to 3 kms so am hoping for pain relief. I still wake up with pain in my hip and legs and difficulty walking..
I learned more from you in this video. I under stand my hip pain and my sciatica. Physical therapy is making it worse. Traction and tens treatment feel the best.
Thank you Ashley for this video, it really helped me a lot and found out the pain is in the buttock (and yes admitting that I should work more on my core!!😅). Thank you again for your advices, Sir! 🙂
I will start to study osteopathy this fall and this channel is so informative and helpful to get me started already now. Thank you so much for all this content!
I thank you so very very much. My back is so messed up. When I get tha terrible pain I can't even move a mussel. These exercises help me a little bit. Thanks so much.
Hey Roy, Thanks for your comment. Please check out my video ruclips.net/video/yNbgbbqpgyI/видео.html for more on the importance of working out especially with a qualified personal trainer. Best wishes, Ashley.
Idk how but watching this I felt so comfortable, at ease, and you just explain it so well, better then any of the doctors I've went to thank you somuch for putting something like this on RUclips! You don't understand how much this actually helps. I Hate barely being able to walk and sit it's so aggravating. I just got my back realigned and acupuncture today for mine thankfully
I misused (misdiagnosed) a tens in the wrong spot for a loooooong time. Soon as we moved it around to the mid-outer butt it REALLY helped! It was on the edge of the spine above the crack area
You have explained so beautifully. I was able to locate that mine is coming from buttocks not from lower back, till today I was only taking care of my lower back and no attention to buttocks. Maybe this will have me. Thank you so much ❤
Thank you so much for this video. The sciatic pain I’ve been experiencing was down my left leg, but has moved to my right leg. I had xrays taken yesterday to get to the bottom of it. The exercises you show are so helpful. When I get into bed, it’s extremely difficult to get comfortable, but I had been bending my spine back and forth, like a lying down cat and cow, to get a little relief. What’s odd though is I can hear and feel a click or crunch in my lower spine, on the outer side. Is crunching or clicking normal?
Thank you for the way you demonstrate with the pelvis showing where the sciatica nerve coming thro and the addition of muscles made it more easily to understand.
Brilliant video, very explanatory. I've just had my low back pain and buttock pain diagnosed as sciatica and have been for an xray. My first gp simply said take paracetamol and use deep heat packs and I've had to insist on an xray. I've now tightness in my calf on that side too. Thank goodness for RUclips!!
Thanks immensely for your time and your explanation. I have been suffering from this over the years now l have really gained a lot from your video. Thanks so very much 👍
Dear Ridout, Thank you so much for your expertise in Osteopathy. Your explanation assures and gives me confidence to resume my physical activities after trying many times but in vain (before coming across your videos) in order to strengthen my muscles. You are an expert in Osteopathy. Well done.
You're absolutely welcome Tendaishe! So glad to hear the video was informative. Please do let me know how it goes with the exercises. Wishing you a speedy recovery! Best wishes, Ashley.
Omg. I cant thank you enough. I'm pretty sure now that mine is in my buttocks. Thank God. In March I moved to a place where I have plenty of sun to grow stuff, a creek to swim in, and plenty of country roads to walk with extremely low traffic like maybe none on most days. Up to walking 4 to 12 miles a day in May. Then bbn one day early August my left side at hips with terrible pain n barely could walk. The Dr. said quit walkingso much and do t for couple if weeks. It's been almost 3 wks. and only little better and that when I looked o. Utube and thus was the first on and I clicked on it. Thank God! I learned my problem was most likely in my buttocks and that it seemed to be easiest to fix. Thank You for helping g people for free. I now know because of you I can heal myself. I just quit starting to get depressed because I had been so happy in my new circumstances. I will tell others about you. Bless You!!
Oh my goodness thank you utterly so much! I pulled my hamstring something awful and because I had to be on my feet at work 8 hours a day, and move to a new apartment,, it caused a disc right above my thigh to slip. Everytime I walked I leaned way over to the hurt side and it just made it worse. The spasms and buckling was unimaginable, I cried every morning thinking of the pain i had to deal with. It would take me 20 min just to get out of bed or stand. My co workers had to help my to my car today! I did these exercises after my manager mentioned sciatica, it hurt terribly and was done at 1 am but now I'm in tears because of how straight my walk is and how much pain is gone. Im 21 and have no way to not work. I was going to have to get workers comp to visit the doctor, I had so much anxiety with school about to start, work already missed amd would miss. Thank you thank you thank you.
Thank you for this of course and well done too. I am currently in pain alas which is like a burning from the back down the legs as well. Nice it is not of course alas! As I have Diabetes I guess it could be neuropathy alas but I am waiting to see my Doctor anyway so too. Best wishes so too.
Assalaamu'alaikum. Im from Malaysia, 51 yrs, 7 kids and have same symtomps, lower back pain on the right side. I will follow your instructions. Will update later. Tq so much for the detail.
Salam.....hi sorry late update. This exercise very helpful. Only 1st day less pain and 2nd day the pain has gone... Tq so much. Really appreciate your video and already share to my friends.
Probably one of the best explanations on RUclips, Ashley your a real expert.
Thank you so much. I am glad you found the video insightful. Best wishes, Ashley.
Two years and counting and I am having sciatica pain. Seen 2 spine specialists, 2 physiotherapists, 1, CMT, and 2 anesthetists. None of them was able to explain or diagnose me like this video! I am so grateful for you! Thanks load!

Back pain is really the worst, I hope you get better with time.
I am from Jamaica I am feeling the same pain I could not walk when an do a x ray an they say is arthritis
Try swimming..cured me

I agree this is the absolute best informative video I have seen. ❤️🙏🇨🇦👍
Agree didn't have to watch several videos looking for things that I saw last time I had some pain and even more in this one that is very helpful
Would a snapped to one side tail bone cause sciatica?
Agreed!!!

Hi Ron,
You're absolutely welcome! You're so right, its getting increasingly difficult to sift out legitimate content online generally. So glad to hear the video was helpful. Do keep me updated on your progress. Wishing you a speedy recovery! Best wishes, Ashley.
Thank you, Thank you, thank you. I’ve been In pain now for two weeks now and this is the first video that gives me hope. Again thank you.

I know you've trained and worked so hard and this is an informative video you put together, but... I'm actually crying with relief. I cannot thank you enough. I had to quit my job because I couldn't sit down for 12 hour shifts. You've given me a light at the end of the tunnel. Thank you 💜
You're most welcome! I'm so glad to hear the video was helpful! Please do keep me posted on your progress. Best wishes, Ashley.

I will try the excercises that I watch from your you tube channel because I'm suffer pain from my buttocks thank you
Sir,you have meticulously explained the facts, but I want to know how much effective are these stretch exercises as I am doing these for last 6 months but to no avail
Thank you for explaining my buttocks pain thoroughly. I started doing your exercises this minute. I found it also an excellent advice to just do three exercises that work and stick with it.
You are most welcome! Glad you found the video helpful. Do keep me posted on your progress. Best wishes, Ashley.
Blessings.
Thanks for your help z. GOD bless!
Hi Ashley
Having sifted through so many videos trying to identify/understand the pain I have been experiencing, I am so glad I found yours. You are so clear and precise with your explanation about the different causes of sciatica I actually understand it now!I am going to follow your advice and do these particular exercises to relieve my sciatica which starts from my buttocks down to my leg. Thank you so much.
Hi Mal Samra,
You're absolutely welcome!

Blessings🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Ps. Can you tell me where are you located?
I'm interested as well how you get on with the stretches. I have a lot of back problems myself
Good luck man
This is the best sciatic pain video. You explained the sciatic nerve anatomy so clearly, I not only confirm my diagnosis, also known what’s the reason that causes my sciatic pain. I did you suggested stretch for two days, the pain is gone. Thank you!
Hi Jenny,
You're absolutely welcome! Glad to hear the video was helpful. Wishing you a speedy recovery! Best wishes, Ashley.
HE'S CERTAINLY NOT THE CAUSE OF YOUR PAIN.🙄🙄🙄😅
I have watched quite some videos on the subject and you have explained in yours with such care and clarity. This is so good and really helpful. I feel safe to show this to my aging parents. Thank you.
That's great to hear! You're absolutely welcome! Please let me know how it goes. Best wishes, Ashley.
Hi @T Hsiao,
You're most welcome! I'm so glad to hear the video proved informative and that the stretches are helping. Please do keep me posted on your progress. Best wishes, Ashley.
I’m suffering it’s painful 😖
I need help please it’s painful
My lower back only hurts while standing on my feet I had a sudden bowel change movement but I can’t take a shower take a short walk cook anything. Standing on my feet is unbearable
By God ,,, he is amazing .!!!!❤❤
Would love to see exercises done by someone who is currently experiencing sciatica so we can see how it will really look like
I followed along, my pain has been unbearable sciatica since yesterday. The exercises were unbelievably helpful, my pain has gone from a 9 to a 2.

Thank you so much ☺️
Hi Adrian that's so good to hear! I'm glad you are feeling much better and I hope it stays that way! Best wishes, Ashley
Thank you!!
A very useful tips on sciatica. Please how can be reaching on alternative channels either email or telegram?

Thank you, this is the first time anyone explained to me in such detail in twenty years. Great video.
You're absolutely welcome Irene! Glad to hear the video was informative. Best wishes, Ashley.
The most complete, clear, and informative explanation of sciatica and possible remedies I've found. Very worthwhile video.
Thank you very much! I hope it helped. Best wishes, Ashley.

Hi Ndolo, you are most welcome. Glad to hear that the video has been helpful to you. Please keep me posted on your progress. Best wishes, Ashley.
Mine goes away after time of inactivity, but as soon as i go for a walk or exersise the pain returns the next day.
à
Mine really never goes away. With rest the pain is very little. But soon as activity is introduced pain increases. Simple standing or sitting for short time increases pain and burning down leg .
@@Roadking556 same.
My sciatica is worse when I've been inactive for 30 minutes. Once I start moving around, I can keep going pretty much. But I'll be glad when it goes away. But very helpful video. Some of this I feel I had figured out already, some of this I didn't. Thanks!!!
What's your age and how you exersise?

You're most welcome. I'm glad the video was able to shed light on your Sciatica cause. Please keep me posted on your progress. Best wishes, Ashley.
Great vid and very helpful info. One of the best I’ve viewed yet. Thank you.
Thank you, Kevin! I'm glad you found the video helpful. Best wishes, Ashley
Excellent! Excellent! Excellent! This was a most informative and professionally done video on the Sciatic nerve. Thank you!

As always beautifully explained. Thank you 😊 💓
You're welcome! I hope it helped. Best wishes, Ashley.
Extremely informative and accurate after experiencing this last year and recovering.
Walking, heat and exercises with osteopath support for releasing piriformis muscle worked well. Very painful for 4 months before sciatic nerve calmed down.
You're most welcome. I'm glad the video was able to shed light on your Sciatica cause. Please do keep me posted on your progress. Best wishes, Ashley.
great clear explanations and the "spine model" helps visualize what is going on.

I found this video more useful than my doctors. Very well explained and clear directions. Thank you!
You're absolutely welcome Jaymi! Glad to hear the video was insightful. Best wishes, Ashley.
Apart from the cost, Dr's, physio, chiro and ortho takes toooo long to diagnose and treat a problem. This is straight forward, it works and FREE!
I love how you can explain anatomy so clearly to people like me. And thank you for the hip exercises 😉. I'm a new subscriber because I know I'll learn more things from you. Keep up the good work.

Traction and tens treatment feel the best.
agree, the very best definition of causes and focus on whether it's your back or buttock and the right exercises and stretches to address
Thank you! I'm happy to hear the video was informative. Do let me know if you try any of the stretches. Best wishes, Ashley.
Thank you Ashley for this video, it really helped me a lot and found out the pain is in the buttock (and yes admitting that I should work more on my core!!😅). Thank you again for your advices, Sir! 🙂
Thank you for all the exercises,i practise right now, the pain on my hip relax,i'll continue till all the pain gone..

… tens unit also helps with the nerve pain.
I tried a unit for 6 months. With NO resulting pain lost. Also did so for C-spine issues. Also no help
I misused (misdiagnosed) a tens in the wrong spot for a loooooong time. Soon as we moved it around to the mid-outer butt it REALLY helped! It was on the edge of the spine above the crack area
@@oldshawbones … I believe it’s different for each person.
TENS yesss it helps!!
Ive been using tens for months and it doesn’t help me
You have explained so beautifully.
I don't think any sort of crunching sound would be good! 😱
Clicking is an indicator of hip replacement
This video has so much information. I just figured out what is causing my sciatica.
That's great to hear Disha! I hope the exercises help. Do let me know. Best wishes, Ashley.
Can you wear a Predator mask while you are holding that spine....? I actually understood your lecture... well done mate!
Thank you so much! Glad to hear the video was informative. Best wishes, Ashley.
Thank you for the way you demonstrate with the pelvis showing where the sciatica nerve coming thro and the addition of muscles made it more easily to understand.
Just go swimming it will fix u . Forget the gym
are you for real ? can you develop more ?
Brilliant video, very explanatory. I've just had my low back pain and buttock pain diagnosed as sciatica and have been for an xray. My first gp simply said take paracetamol and use deep heat packs and I've had to insist on an xray. I've now tightness in my calf on that side too. Thank goodness for RUclips!!
Sorry to hear about that. I do hope that the exercises contribute to your recovery journey. Best wishes, Ashley.
Thanks immensely for your time and your explanation. I have been suffering from this over the years now l have really gained a lot from your video. Thanks so very much 👍

Hello from Melbourne! I'm 8 days since mine started, I'm a complete wreck.. But I've started to manage it ever so slowely.
