@@PrecisionWellbeing Thankyou so much for asking about me. I am doing much better, I have started walking a little bit now. I still have the pain in my upper leg by my buttocks and mid calves. I cannot stand too long or sit either. I went to see a chiro doc because of my doc. But he made the pain worst and he press on my back so hard near my kidneys that it is so sore. So I stop going and used ice and heat which helped a lot. So as soon as I can, I will attempt some of your stretches. I know it will be good. I also got a tens unit I would try to use it but don't know how.
      Thankyou so much again. Blessings🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

For the past two months, I have been suffering from sciatica nerve pain. I have watched many videos and sought various treatments, including visits to the doctor, emergency room, acupuncture, cupping, massage therapy, and physiotherapy. However, none of these explained sciatica as clearly as you did. This is the best video I have ever seen! Now, I am gradually recovering from sciatica. The shooting pain in my hip and leg has subsided to just less buttock and lower back pain, which were the initial symptoms before the sciatica developed. According to my doctor, based on the X-ray results, I have a reduced disc space at L5-S1, which is pinching the nerve. The most beneficial exercises for me have been hanging from a bar and doing the cobra position. I have watched several of your videos, found them very helpful, and have subscribed to your channel. Thank you for your videos!

Omg. I cant thank you enough. I'm pretty sure now that mine is in my buttocks. Thank God. In March I moved to a place where I have plenty of sun to grow stuff, a creek to swim in, and plenty of country roads to walk with extremely low traffic like maybe none on most days. Up to walking 4 to 12 miles a day in May. Then bbn one day early August my left side at hips with terrible pain n barely could walk. The Dr. said quit walkingso much and do t for couple if weeks. It's been almost 3 wks. and only little better and that when I looked o. Utube and thus was the first on and I clicked on it. Thank God! I learned my problem was most likely in my buttocks and that it seemed to be easiest to fix. Thank You for helping g people for free. I now know because of you I can heal myself. I just quit starting to get depressed because I had been so happy in my new circumstances. I will tell others about you. Bless You!!

This was very informative and explained in detail. Thank you so so much. This had helped me with relief. The last exercise laying on my back with my knee outward brought relief. The added exercise to that putting my foot on my other leg and raising it really helps a lot. Thank you so much for this. Doctors here in the US don’t want to help cure or offer relief. Theres no money in it. Sadly greed and pills are what they do here. Again thank you!

I have DDD in L4 and L5 and I have severe lumbar pain and bilateral sciatica which usually lasts for about 8 months at a time and recurs every 2 years. The bilateral sciatica this time is causing me pain under my heels and makes my feet really painful too. I have no idea what is causing the lumbar pain and bilateral sciatica other than the ddd which was seen on MRI prior to the back pain occurring.

      Hi Ashley,
      Thanks for your comment!
The best stretches are the ones where the heel of the leg with sciatica is placed on the other leg knee then pull both legs to the chest.
I found this strech with its alternatives are the best. They gave me instantaneous relief.

Thank you so much for your generosity. I know most of the exercises (some we do at the gym) but was afraid to move even a iota of my muscles, so afraid I would compound the situation. I have been living, sitting, sleeping, driving, climbing stairs up and down with acute pain for about a year. I just walk or run a tiny bit, and use cold/hot showers/packs when the pain is atrociously extreme. I have deserted the gym and just hitting the pool this winter was too cold I thought to my taste, even when the water was warm! I have become grumpy and impatient because of the pain. And sedentary! And as you said, the more pain, the less exercise, and the less exercise, the more pain. Doctors I have gone to tend to give medication but are not interested in showing you how you can get rid of pain with simple exercises and without much medication. Actually they are not entirely sure about physical therapy and have asked me to wait ???? I cannot take NSAIDS anyway, even occasionally, because of medical reasons, and Paracetamol cannot relieve the pain/over a substantial period of time. I understand what you said about tolerating some pain as inflammation is part of the healing process. I have started the exercises and they are great for me. I hope my situation will improve and that I won't need surgery. Your videos are very inspirational and the explanations great. I was really lost. God bless you.

Great video, thanks! Any ideas on muscle-related hip pain/tightness/sciatica that is actually aggravated by hanging? I've been dealing with a nagging left hip issue since June that seems to have coincided with kettlebell workouts, and I've seen numerous professionals with only moderate results so far. Stretching and massage with a softball help the most, but the pain and tightness are particularly bad in the morning.

This is very comprehensive explanation of the sciatica symptoms I have had for three into four years now. I have seen a full spectrum of different therapists and still not able to find a solution to be completely pain free. I think it is because I have not find the root cause of why my right side glute will not shut down to trigger everything you described in this video. I can sense compensatory patterns in my body, making me believe it is beyond just the musculoskeletal level. Some nights I have very irritated nerve reaction in my right leg that feel like restless leg syndrome, but I am pretty sure it is related to sciatica. Maybe one day I will be able to find the last puzzle piece.

The exercises you show are so helpful. When I get into bed, it’s extremely difficult to get comfortable, but I had been bending my spine back and forth, like a lying down cat and cow, to get a little relief. What’s odd though is I can hear and feel a click or crunch in my lower spine, on the outer side. Is crunching or clicking normal?

I have left sided sciatic nerve problems, comes from degenerative disc disease in my lower back, when it gets really bad, I have to get a medrol and toradol shot, those last about 6 months. I refuse to quit living because I have this. I exercise daily, but don't over do, but when I do I rest with heating pads, or have to get these shots. Everyone is different follow your docs instructions or pain specialist instructions.
