    Check out the rest of our channel for dyno videos, tech, videos and more. We are a shop that designs, machines, and builds engines. We work with all types of power adders including superchargers, nitrous oxide, specializing in turbocharged combinations. We utilize our in-house chassis dyno to get safe and reliable power over several combinations. We work on vehicles powered by multiple different ecus, and engine combinations. From turbo 4g63 setups making 80+ psi of boost, to NA 5.0l mustangs. we don't forget the Chevy guys though, also working on multiple LS engines in multiple swap vehicles using several different types of engine management.

    I love unique combos too, and that 180 degree header setup is too cool!

    It's the only non flat-plane crank modern Ford engine that sounds good thanks ti that exhaust lol. Thing is nasty! I want to build a set of 180° headers for my 97 Z28 so damn bad. They make small block circle track cars sound badass lol.

      Yes they do! Thats is actually what inspired this. When I was younger I raced outlaw late models. Drove a car for a customer and it had 180s. Been addicted ever since.

      @@ForceEngineering I'm really curious what a set would sound like on the 5.2 Voodoo engine. It's compromised flat-plane firing order is pretty unique in sound already. I'd REALLY love to see someone get a custom crank and cams made to fix the firing order into a true flat-plane and run twin intake manifolds. The story was that for hood clearance reasons Ford used a shared plenum like the Coyote which necessitated the change to the firing order. I want someone to build the Voodoo Ford always wanted to lol.

    Would a bigger exhaust housing help with the back pressure?

    Nice man. 👍
    So I found out I lifted a head on my stock Gen1 (single turbo/TH400), and I’m deciding on what to do next. What would you recommend for a “budget” build? I’m shooting for between 900-1000whp and a Gen2 short block is hard to find right now.
    Can’t afford a fully built motor just yet, so I’m just weighing my options.

      Thats unfortunate! I'd do a rod & piston in what you have. I'm also having great luck with the sce gasket and would suggest that. It will be some what costly for the short cause you'll have to have the crank balanced.

      Not sure if i have mentioned it or not actually. 1 7/8s

      @@ForceEngineering why did you choose to go with 1 7/8 over 1 3/4? Looking at doing a 8:1 setup in my drag car with a coyote.

      @@radioactivefabrication results from a previous test on a turbo 4cyl setup. 17/8 setup to 2 in and just 2" preformed the best at all boost levels up in the 7500+ rpm range.

    • @ForceEngineering

      @@radioactivefabrication space was a concern yes. Also the engine we were testing was making around 375hp per cylinder, so I knew I had some wiggle room.

    Very nice. Which cams did you end up putting in it?

    • @ForceEngineering
      @ForceEngineering  2 года назад +2

      Its a custom Comp set. Planning to do a video around the cam change. Going from vvti to non vvti with custom cams and its affect on hp and spool time.
