I got this device to work on my phone fine, when I try to set my wife’s iPhone up I cannot get the Cielo breeze to appear on the network. Is this just limited to one phone?
I have a air handler with ac only. Have a Focus pro 6 tstat, how does this replace it. I’m kind of confused, is there a module I need to connect to my air handler?
Great video, I have one question. Can this devise automatically addjust the heat of the AC if temperatures drop or raise according to a desired temp where the device is hanging ?
This looks like a great solution to a problem I have where my outside East wall gets hot in the early morning (Tucson AZ) yet the room is still cool. The Samsung Mini-Split kicks on and chills the room till it's in the mid 60's if I set it and forget it. I need to keep the programming updated to try and avoid this. Wish I could install a remote thermister. Does this Cielo Breez Plus only offer the device to be on/off versus ramping as needed for efficiency (the main reason I went to the Mini-split?
EDIT: I bought one of these and set it to 70 degrees, and when it hit 65 degrees it just stays on, and keeps blowing cold air for hours. Tech support said this is normal and to use the "comfy mode"? wtf is that supposed to mean, if I set the temperature it should just turn off when it's reached? Does anybody else have this issue? Frustrating to say the least. Original post: So this device basically sends off an IR signal that is compatible with all mini splits? I'm looking for something to control my Daikin because their over priced wifi adapters are a joke. Thanks!
No, these work by sending IR signals to your unit and must be within line of sight of the unit you wish to control. If you buy the Cielo Breez Lite you can control 2 units for about the price of one Cielo Breez Plus, just without the display.
What happens if someone uses the original remote control to change aircon settings? Can the Cielo detect that or does it just get completely out of sync?
It depends. If you follow the instructions and place the Cielo Breez device where it will capture the remote signal as well as transmit to the AC/Heat pump it will sync to what the remote inputs are. If it doesn't capture the remote signal due to being blocked then it will get out of sync and you won't be able to tell the status of the unit, except for room temperature and humidity. They may give you a clue that the unit is out of sync if it's not matching what the unit should be set for. I would suggest hiding the remote and using the app to control the unit so they don't get out of sync. There is no way for the Cielo Breez to know what the real status of the unit is. You have to be there to tell it what it's actually doing. So if you hide the remote, the unit and the app should stay in sync. Basically this changes the unit from a IR remote to a internet enable remote. You might be better off buying a WiFi thermostat and wiring it into the unit if you know what you are doing.
@@IADHDD If it has an IR Remote control it probably will. Contact Cielo tech support. Perhaps Senville just wants you to buy THEIR WiFi remote hardware.
Contact their tech support number. They will ask for a picture of the front and back of your remote to be emailed to them. Sometimes similar remotes have different functions. I had to call them for both a Haier mini-split heat pump and a GE window AC with heat strips. They got things straight
This does not make the a/c smarter than it is without the device. It will only get smart when it has more sensors like light, and a clock and humidity and movement.
@@randycook8403 You may be better off buying a WiFi thermostat that is wired to the unit. That way you will know what the unit status is as well as being able to send commands.
It can be used with your remote control but must be mounted so it receives the remote signals at the same time as the unit. Otherwise it may get out of sync with the remote and you won't know what the unit status in when you're not at home.
Can you set up different programs, such as summer, spring, winter, or whatever you want?

Have you used these on multi-zone ductless systems yet? Or see any reason why they wouldn’t work for a multi-zone system?
Hey Teddy , I’d like to hardwire one of those for my Della mini split instead of the power adapter hanging down the wall. Any suggestions?

Hi, Taddy! What happens if you set the mode to "Auto"?
Great video, I have one question. Can this devise automatically addjust the heat of the AC if temperatures drop or raise according to a desired temp where the device is hanging ?
Not that I know of
So if I use it on a mini split do I have to have it hard wired to the controller box?
I'm not sure
Hey man watching your video as I sit in the airport in Orlando. See you soon bro.

The Celio breeze has scheduling so you can actually schedule it to ramp up when you want
Does it work with Mitsubishi and Gree?

That is correct
It worked pretty good with the Samsung
Can you have it automatically dehumidify and then go to cool when the humidity level is reached?
That would be pretty cool but I don't think that feature is available
If I have multiple acs, do I have to buy one for each?
yes
Quick question, instead of reading in Fahrenheit, can it show Celsius?
I'm not sure Wilson I think you can download the PDF of the manual online and it should show you there
Yes.
Will this work if I have one mini split in the garage and one mini split directly above in second floor bedroom
I am not sure

Does it work with “Quietside mini split?
yes
Would this work on a Senville Concealed Duct unit?
yes
@@TaddyDigest I just contactedSenville and they told me this wifi thermostat will not work with their Concealed Duct mini-split :(

Will this work with a duel fuel system
I'm not sure I will find out
Mine will turn the AC off if already on but won’t turn it on🤷♂️

It’s Cielo… not Cielio.
How to use comfy mode.
Can I cut it on from my home to my vacation house 130 miles away both have internet?

So this is just replaces your remote control. But has WiFi so you can control from your phone and they collect data from you.
