So it's not a thermostat at all. It's just a controller. The thermostat is still inside the indoor unit which I've never found to be ideal. I was hoping this would become the thermostat.

Q...We run an Airbnb, Is there a way for us to use "Parental Control" where we can limit guests from cranking the temps way low?

With the celobreeze thermostat being wifi you could make changes remotely or set a 7 day schedule that give the guest a small over ride for a couple of hours before reverting back to its programed schedule

So it doesn’t take batteries?! You have to wire it straight to a regular plug?? I’m confused

It does with a wall plug adapter for power, but it can be hard wired to 24 volts. Hope this helps

I noticed that ceilo and Mr cool use the same software. Do you know much about the mr cool wifi dongle? For some reason it'll no longer connect.
I did buy the Cielo for my other systems but have decided I'll also probably need a couple extra for my Mr cool units.

Really nice review, thanks. I bought one today and your review was a big help. I notice a humidity hack on this unit in another post and thought you might interest you. ruclips.net/video/oF1T5EH_xWg/видео.html At the end he does a update.
