Hey great review man. I put 9000km (5500miles) on the 2022 Monster Plus and almost immediately knew I needed more bike. This V2 has 40 more hp, fully adjustable suspension, a fit for a taller rider, and a great sound. I’m picking up my Streetfighter V2 Saturday!!! Cheers bro!! 👍🏼
Great review. Agree that cruise control is kinda overrated. I think that the biggest problem with this bike is that it sits in a weird price range where someone in the market for one (like me) is cross shopping it with bikes like the speed triple 1200 or the s1000r. And then the question becomes, why am I getting a v2 when there are leftover 2022 sp3s and s1000rs left with dealer incentives that make it cheaper than a v2?
Don't forget the Aprilia Tuono 1100 V4 non factory. That bike is cheaper than the V2 Streetfighter. I looked at both these last year and went with the quicker ,more powerful Tuono. MCN tested them against each other and the Tuono won. The problem with the V2 is it is priced too high. It's got to compete with some hyper nakeds which perform better. The Ducati is a good bike but it is poorly priced in such a competitive market.
@fyorbane your buying thr design, much like Apple. Ainte up or be jealous of it forever. Lambo ferrari etc all built average cars under the design. You pay for the design bud, plain and simple
Love everything I read about these bikes except for the seat heat that seems to be a problem on most Ducati's. I love my '22 KTM 890r Duke as well but, the V2's are very tempting...
This bike sounds manageable enough to be a "putt around town" bike if it wasn't so sporty and track capable. Your footage around the twisties looked very comfortable.
Really good content and helps prospective buyers. Worth spending the extra money for full exhaust? I know it is a pretty penny for Ducati’s full exhaust.
I never feel wind resistance until 140 mph anyways. I red the specs on this bike N love them. I'm going to stunt my cbr600tt out tho, so I can attack some streets as well
Nice ride :) thanks for the thorough feedback, rode one last weekend, was a beautiful handling bike and super engaging. Did you install throttle spacers on yours? Much play in the throttle?
Hey, brother, would you ever daily this thing? Old BMW guy here, but I’m getting Ducati bug pretty bad. I live in Georgetown, Texas, but I am moving to Bee Caves soon. I’m sure we’ve ridden some of the same roads.
Do you regularly ride in the summer in San Antonio? I lived there for a while and it was unbearably hot. I am in Las Vegas now and would take this heat over that every day of the week.
Nice review. I spent most of my life in Texas. From the beginning of the vid, I thought that’s were you were riding. Small world, as I can see you’re crossing I-10 on 46 @ 11:36. I used to live off Boerne Stage Rd, and rode the very same roads. I moved to North Central Az 5 years ago for the dirt riding in the National Forest, but get back often. Say Hi to Marotta if he’s still @ Ducati SA, good people.
I rode the monster. and I love the low to mid ends. I just changed to the v2. I find that Monster is alot more 'FAST' in this range. But I remembered when I tested the demo v2. It was responsive and powerful even in the low to mid. Could it be I am still running in ? Thus it feels so different? Appreciate your thoughts!! Thank you!
As much as our rear view mirrors look cool like that, you are forcing your peripheral vision away from the the road in that position. Just my 5 cents worth. PS: those roads are a way too straight for that bike. Ducati head office would say they wasted the bike on. you! LOL
Things I dont like on mine, suspension, brakes and power delivery. The brakes are garbage, and complicated to upgrade, needs tuning to open it up. Suspension is mediocre. Otherwise amazing bike.
@@MrWallexxx Suspension is far from mediocre, they are excellent. I have to admit Dutch roads are exceptionally good. Our highways are race track worthy 😄Front brakes are superb and far from garbage, really far. Back brake doesn't do a whole lot. I don't believe it needs tuning to open it up, you'll just get a little bit more of everything. It is an amazing bike, it's fantastic to ride. Absolutely no doubt about it.
Too bad they cheaped out on a black plastic front fender vs a a proper red one which would tie the whole look together. As an Italian I think the saved a few euros but ruined the italian DNA pedigree with this simple mistake. My ‘12 Monster 796 looks more “complete”

I just got myself the Ducati SFv2, I feel like they made it for us 6' 2" people, coz it just fits me like a glove

I agree, its a hard one to nail down!

I think its worth its high price tag because its a high quality product that is looking like a legendary bike.

Dude, didn’t know you rode bikes , heck yea, building bad ass V8 engines and bikes. Enjoying life killa. I’m jealous. Lol.

Jacob have you ever tried the superduke? Why did you go for the streetfighter?
That Red is so damn Gorgeous. I just ordered a V2 in StormGreen. Do you have a video or list of mods?
Do you still like the green?
@@sambyf2445So I literally ordered it right before I left in deployment so no bullshit today was my first long ride on it
Where did you get the steering damper?
Whats your thoughts on the stabilizer vs stock? Can you drop a link to it

Rizoma reverse retro!
Nice ride :) thanks for the thorough feedback, rode one last weekend, was a beautiful handling bike and super engaging. Did you install throttle spacers on yours? Much play in the throttle?
Yes, I did install the spacers to take up all the slack!
Only 315 miles on mine 👍 throttle spacers are a must & radiator cover
What throttle spacers do you have on your bike?
Great video.
How do you find this mirrors? Do you have a link.
They are Rizoma Reverse Retro
I am watching your video for the firest time and it's informative for the viewers, anyways where are you from??

I’m 5”11 with long legs 😂, do u think this bike will be not too short ?
How is the temperature/engine heat now?
Would you recomend the ducati tank grips?
Was thinking about getting them for my v2

Have you thought of upgrading to a V4 or V4S?
The pricing for this bike just got bumped up to usd25k in my country. Well, looks like I’m keeping my current bike a while longer.. 🤣
A good 2nd bike after my M821?
Any info on servicing cost? Ducati can be extreme?
Perfect bike Ducati all ways ❤
Good for first bike or nah?

Does it have a Fuel Gauge ??
I think this bike needs an aftermarket rearsets/footpegs.
I am waiting for the summer to sell my adv and get a v2😒
nice vid. love the views
That double yellow went for like 5 minutes, why?
Great bike and great video! I’m trying to convince my wife to let me buy one of those 🥲
Go for it!
What kind of fuel mileage are you getting ? Thnx and beautiful bike !
About 30-35 average.
Changes what?
Where did you get the wings?
I love the bike, 😍hate the wings🤮not comfortable 😜buy a Multistrada 950 for touring😎
