All the people saying anything but Tissot PRX are just being contrarian- the Prx is the highest quality, longest lasting, and most aesthetically pleasing of all these pieces.
I have and love the gold “Seikonaut”. It does indeed start to fade on the bracelet if you wear it regularly, but to be honest I wouldn’t let that deter anyone because it looks really cool in my humble opinion. I’d liken it to a classic car with some nice patina on the paint. Obviously wear but doesn’t necessarily detract.
To me the Seiko and Brew look absolutely nuts, I kinda want them now. Honorable mention for inexpensive gold watches are Bulova 97D123 and Bulova 97D108. I don't have either but I might get the all-gold one someday. I currently own Bulova 97D116 and its ok. I don't really wear it that often, and I don't like that the watch is so easy to smudge and shows up on the black noticeably, but I'll try to like it for another couple months. Also worth looking into is the Seiko 5 SNXL72, purely because of the grid pattern dial. Great vid.
I'd go with the Brew Metric - Gold. I've been eyeballing that watch for a while, so it'll eventually end up in my collection. Normally, I'm not at all a gold watch kind of guy, but there is just something about the black dial and more muted gold tone of the Brew that speaks to me. Another that's caught my eye is the Marloe Pacific 55. I just wish that one had a bracelet option, but the leather and gold look great on it.
Agree. The "it" factor of the seiko.... bought it because I love the way it looks. Dont care about fading, don't wear it that often but really enjoy it when I do...we buy watches because of the overall feeling rather than the specs only.
The better seiko alternative would be snxl72 for me, more interesting dial motif, more legible with the blacked out hands and also a more classical case design, which doesnt look like a homage. You slap an aftermarket jubilee bracelet on that badboy and you're golden ;)
Thanks for the video! Love the comparison of the watches as I believe theu would all be used in the same scenario. Can people still buy the Seiko at market price? Last time I checked they were all selling over retail.
loved the watches you presented. i am a sucker and also a collector of the vintage seiko 5 linuep. my most watches are vintage japanese watches, i am still yet to buy a swiss piece. anyway, you have got yourself a new subscriber!
I'll always choose tissot over seiko. I just feel the entry seiko's are a little too cheap looking while the tissot's are usually perfect and classy out of the box.
Im interested in knowing how the Seiko’s color tone holding up. Been looking for that one but ive seen pre owned ones are tarnished. But nonetheless i love that seiko amongst the others!!
I have an Arabic dial Seiko and the bracelet is so cheap. As soon as I can, I’ll be getting a NATO or leather strap for it. A company like Seiko shouldn’t be making bracelets that cheap. All my Citizens have excellent bracelets. The Seiko bracelets remind me of a $50 Casio.
Yeah I guess it depends on the MSRP. I can't complain about the bracelet when you could get this watch new (it's discontinued now) on sale. I get the cost cutting measures but this Seiko has that "it" factor so I can forgive the lackluster bracelet.
I've got the tissot and it really is amazing. I've also got the green dial powermatic version and its amazing how different they feel. I wear the gold one way more and its quartz, I really recommend it 👌
For me Tissot PRX is the winner. The bracelet is just simply genius
I do love the PRX but would rather have it without the PVD coating
I wished dial is white n rest gold for prx
I've been considering the Damian Lillard PRX but it only comes in I believe a 40mm and I love the comfort of a smaller case.
The Seiko is a beauty. If watches didn’t have names that watch will be extremely expensive.
Its so nice for the price!
I have a Seiko SNKK52, it was a gift from both my grandfather and my mom. Really love that watch, thanks for talking about it.
It's such a good piece!

I do love the black dial on gold!

Say it louder for the people in the back!
Not wrong.. ur taste.. I swear u would of chosen brew metric.. im looking at the prx automatic right now..😏.. 850$.. good or not..?..price wise..plz

I have prx gold 40mm it’s a nice one idol!
Its so nice!
Hey Steve. Could you review the 40mm gold prx automatic?
As soon as I get my hands on it I will! But I do have another PRX review coming soon so be on the lookout for that!

I've seen some on eBay for around the $200-300 price

hey I'm new to your channel and it seems that you are doing pretty good job, keep it up, you have nice and well structed content
Thank you! Welcome to the show!

Yeah the construction quality of the Tissot is top bang for buck. The Seiko does feel a bit cheap in the bracelet.
Out of all three , which one in color is closer to 24k gold ?
Tissot prx Is gold pvd and out of all three won’t fade (could last decades with good wear habits).
Love the review ! You just earned a sub mate !
My man!
Why do your prefer the snkk if it has a lot of cons? I really don’t know which one to buy 😮
I think the pros outweigh the cons! Plus it just has that 'it" factor!
Im interested in knowing how the Seiko’s color tone holding up. Been looking for that one but ive seen pre owned ones are tarnished. But nonetheless i love that seiko amongst the others!!
So far its holding up well! I don't wear it often though, maybe once or twice a month so maybe I'm not the best one to ask hahaha
@@stevepapa great!! Id love to have one but i ant paying more than 200dollars for it.
Can you make q Video on the Seiko you Picked, and why?
I did! It's one of my first watch reviews actually. I may revisit later on.
Seiko case + PRX bracelet. Get Base to make us one!!!!
Now we're talking!
i have a question the whole watch is gold ? or just the dial or its gold plated
These are just a gold colored coating
Helped me make my purchase continue making more content!
Glad I could help!
How can I gotten this wach?
Nice video man ! Keep it up
Thanks man!
that mustache is amazing tho
hahahaha right?!
What's the price of seiko gold in 2024 ?
Not sure, probably around $200-300 new
The Seiko wins hands down. At that price point can't beat it. It's discontinued 😢😢😢
Maybe I should hold onto mine for a decade or so!
any links to buy them in Europe? Thank you!
Thanks for watching but I don't have any European links sadly
seiko the best and budget watch
Definitely!
If Tissot Prx and seiko were same price which would u like more?
Seiko, Seiko,Seiko!!!!!
I have the seiko its my guilty pleasure
It's such a good option!
I agree. The Seiko’s bracket not only looks like but also is made like trash😂
It looks good from 10' away tho!
Great Content !!
Thank you!

No loom no mercury. Brill.
Dunno about you but for me the vintage Casio A168WG got more personality than this 3 combined ...
Peace out ✌️
That's the beauty of watch collecting, everyone has their own choices! Thanks for watching!
yes sir!@@stevepapa
Can’t choose between the tissot and the seiko😫
I've got the tissot and it really is amazing. I've also got the green dial powermatic version and its amazing how different they feel. I wear the gold one way more and its quartz, I really recommend it 👌
Damn, bro, you're a handsome guy.
I have the exact seiko5 gold model. Trash bracelet like u said and the bezel isnt gold anymore. Crap
Yeah this is a piece I wear maybe once a month so luckily the gold hasn't worn off
Viewer from the beautiful caribbean islands 🏝 😍 ❤ I must say i'm in full agreement with you.
Caribbean fans! Hell yeah! We share the same, and correct, opinion!
Snke gold for me 🎉
*chef kiss*
Does the gold paint every rub off, or will it stay ?
@@Unrove i dont use it all the time, i guess its PVD? So like every other gold watch under 10k. Scratches will be silver tho cus its coated
Someone forgot the casio square metal in all gold
hmmmmm maybe... Or maybe not.
As a Tissot fan i would take Seiko. Tissot have great bracelet but Seiko looks better at all.
i love the aliment off the prx..not... thats why i went for the powermatic 80
HA!
You do know theyre not all like that. Thats why you go into a store and check the ticking in person and only buy if its bang on.
@@Psysso I live in Holland there are no stores to go in to buy a prx…trust maybe in Amsterdam but put the 150 euro gas towards a powermatic 80 …
WR is 30m
Thanks for the info!
@@stevepapa no problem
Papa stache
Got to!
Prx is not a gold watch, its gold coated watch , no real 18k or 24k gold in it .
well yes!
