The reading from Genesis listed in the description was chapter 15, not chapter 22. Thankfully you mentioned chapter 22 so I was able to pause the video and to then read chapter 22. Thank you for the explanation and pointing out the typology, foreshadowing, etc. Your explanations are so thorough and easy to understand and make understanding the Word of God almost simple. Thank you and may God bless you, always!

This question is off topic, what Bible do you have in this video? It appears to be genuine leather with gold gilding with 2 ribbons. I am interested in purchasing, would you be gracious enough to provide me with a link on where I may purchase Bible used in video.
    God bless you,

Awesome.....may lord shower his blessings upon this ministry..... ❤️🙏....
Can I ask you something that's not related to this topic....it's about the reformation ......was there any reason by which god allowed the Protestant reformation to happen in the church.....in other words was there any mistake from our part that led to the reformation.....because I've heard recently from a Catholic priest quoting from Mark 4:21-25 that we didn't do our best to proclaim the gospel to the whole world and thus we might have accidentally try to hide the gospel....and thus the lord might have allowed this inorder to spread the gospel to a next level.....

Personally, I think of it as an awakening call for Catholics that there needs to be something to be fixed. I get Luther's voice and action is due to some of the Church's officials corruption, and I agree that it needs to be stopped but I don't see any reason why he should separate. I believe that GOD brought up true Saints on those days. (look up "True Reformers" on google) And maybe to remind us that we are One Body. One of the things I can also think of is that HE allowed it because of the wolves on sheep clothings (Like Judas among JESUS' disciples) so that we will turn to HIM.

I don't believe Abraham knew Isaac would live because then what would be the difficulty and credit of his sacrifice? The Lord says Abraham will be blessed because he did not withhold even his son. God is telling us that Abraham's sacrifice was genuine.
Abraham likely told his servants they would return because they would otherwise prevent the offering. But I admit that Abraham seems unlikely to lie for any reason.
It's interesting that scripture makes no mention of Isaac's response to being bound and placed on the altar. Possibly, he resisted and lamented. Possibly, his faith was as strong as his father's and he submitted to the sacrifice. We don't know.

There are some apocryphal writings in where Ishmael and Isaac argue with each other and compare their own sacrifices, but Isaac boasts that he would so much as give even his own life as one. But I find these writings are making the best attempt to justify tha act as something both father and son were offering willingly.
There is also an epistle many would point to as to Abraham actually anticipating isaac being brought back to life: Hebrews 11:19.
I, on the other hand, believe Abraham was entirely genuine also and he most likely hit his son over the head with one of the logs before binding him and preparing himself to plunge the knife into his heart.
Afterwards, I probably would have thrown myself on the fire as well, had there been enough wood. Returning to his servants would be confirmed whether Isaac is walking beside him or if his body is being carried.
Faith, found perfect in Abraham, complied with the voice that made the demands, though it would have contradicted earlier promises if Isaac is not available to fulfill the legacy which was promised through him specifically. The only option was to obey, even if he did not understand.
Satan could imitate the voice of the Almighty, but not even he would so much as dare make God into a liar, as it would spell his own doom in the demands of cosmic justice; as it was decreed at a later time (John 16:11).
As it turned out, Sarah would be the one to pay for Abraham's blood guilt for Haran, as any mother would willingly do in the place of her child.
Oh wound in the heart of Mary. Who knows these things better than thee?

Tell us something we don't know. The vast majority of the Bible, Old and New Testaments, points to Christ in one form or another.

God sacrificed his only begotten son who was himself to himself to reduce his anger at our sins so as to persuade himself not to burn us in Hell which was his idea in the first place. God didn't have to sacrifice his son. All he had to do was stop burning us. Even after he sacrificed his son, God continues to burn almost everyone he puts on earth. For two-thousand years, millions of Christians have bought into this nonsense, never thinking to question it because it is a sin to question God. The first sin listed in the Bible is KNOWLEDGE of good and evil. Religion can only exist in a vacuum of ignorance.
