  • Every sin we commit against God is a capital offense. In order to satisfy the demands of divine justice and to remove the guilt of His people, Jesus Christ died in their place on the cross. In this message, R.C. Sproul lays out the significance of the substitutionary atonement accomplished by Jesus’ death.

      The assurance of your salvation is your faith in Christ and what he did on the cross for ALL, not just the elite as Calvanism wrongly teaches.. Keep following Christ and keep praying to Jehovah for your family. Be patient and slowly you will see Jehovah intervene. LEAD BY EXAMPLE.

    "Why Did Christ Die?"
    Great question kind Sir...
    If Jesus had not died, as he did, no one would ever go to Heaven. For what He did, paid the total price of EVERY sin people would EVER commit; EXCEPT for one..."The Un-forgivable Sin!" IE:...
    Mark 3:28 Verily I (Jesus) say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men (every person), even blasphemies howsoever they shall blaspheme: Mark 3:29 But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Spirit; has never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation (hell).
    "The Un-forgivable Sin!"
    This means that EVERY single sin; WILL be forgiven on "Judgment Day"; with only ONE "caveat". That is: if any person does not accept the FREE "gift" (of "Salvation") from the Holy Spirit (which is offered from birth to death); THAT person WILL go to hell on Judgment Day. NO exceptions.
    In other words, from conception; until we say yes (or we die); the Holy Spirit calls us to glory. Meaning we "believe IN Jesus". Now...IF Jesus "deems" that we are truly and sincerely believing IN HIM; immediately, the Holy Spirit "Circumcises" our Soul and "Baptizes" our Heart. The instant that happens; the Holy Spirit, gives us a "2nd Birth". AKA: "Born Again"...
    But NOT of "flesh and blood". Rather: a Heavenly "Spiritual Birth"; that will be forever. It can never be taken away...
    John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him ("Nicodemus" a Hebrew teacher), Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water OF the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
    John 10:28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish (in hell), neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
    John 4:13 Jesus answered and said unto her (Samaritan lady at the well), Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: John 4:14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. (Proving "OSAS!". Regardless, of what 80% of Christians believe)...
    John 3:15 That whosoever believes in him; should not perish (in hell), but have eternal life. John 3:16 For Jesus who IS God so loved the world, that he gave of himself AKA: "begotten Son", that whosoever believes in Him should not perish (in hell), but have everlasting life.
    In any case kind Sir, Please Pray OFTEN and Praise Jesus OFTEN; for He is the ONLY true "God Almighty"; there will ever have been. And may Jesus bless you and yours always. AMEN!

       @Steve Bilkos. Thank you so much kind Sir. I am humbled that you did not do; as so many do such as blast me and say very bad things about me.
      But then Jesus said...Matthew 10:22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.
      Thus, we Born Again must accept; that until we are "Raptured" into Heaven; that all non Born Again's will hate us innately. And satan promulgates this ever since Creation. And he will NOT stop doing that; until Jesus casts him into a Burning Lake of Fire" AKA: "hell".
      In any case, May Jesus bless you and yours, brother in Jesus.

    Jesus died for us. All those blood sacrifices in the past, before He came, was ended by the last blood sacrifice, that will ever be needed, for everyone. Our sins were on Him, and those fleshly sins, died in His flesh, our Lord Who walked it perfectly, paid for our admission unto eternal life. Jesus died, so we do not have to die, that second death, period!

    The sacrifice made by Jesus have dual meanings (duality). You have explained only one of the two reasons.

  • @trevorbates8972
    @trevorbates8972 2 года назад

    There are a number of reasons why Jesus died, one of which was to show us resurrection. If we up build within us a righteous spirit we too will be reborn to righteous flesh, new flesh, appropriate to our righteous state, instead of retained in the ether. Another reason is the ritual value because his death is a re-enactment of what happened to Almighty God in Heaven when He led the Angels as Jesus led the disciples. Yet another reason is it is what happens to a person who walks in the opposite direction to those who prefer lies and deceit to manipulate the people by...and there we have it...a wonderful science built from the true nature of mechanics of the electromagnetic universe, created and owned by Almighty God who created His very own Son, via his crucifixion and resurrection.

    • @user-ih3st2co8d

      Generational curses of idolatory of forefathers...even Rachel stole idols of her father laban ...which was later buried under a oak when Jacob wrestled with God...for Elisabeth it's to be a sign for mary that nothing is impossible to God, concerning the message she received...also till Zechariah would believe the power of God...

    • @jerryadams6609
      @jerryadams6609 2 года назад +2

      So, that God could demonstrate a promise fulfilled. Isaac was promised to Abraham and Sarah to fulfill promises (covenant) See, Genesis 17:19. In each instance a Patriarch was born to fulfill the promises God originally made to Abraham. Except Elizabeth, she bore John the Baptist who was the fulfillment of the promised "one crying in the wilderness" (Isaiah 40:3, Matthew 3:1-3) God caused the conception of John the Baptist in her old age so people will sit up a pay attention and take notice that God is fulfilling a prophecy (not to mention the angel who came and spoke to Zechariah). The same with Hannah who born Samuel, a judge and prophet to Israel. God was doing something significant with their children.
      Not a curse but promises and blessing. This does not mean that every baren Christian women is to be blessed to have a child who will do great things for the kingdom of God, in fact it is very unlikely since the Christ (the promised offspring of Abraham..Galatians 3:16) has come and fulfilled the covenants and promises.
