- Most of the scion wood for 2018 has gone out, the rest should be in the post by this evening. absolutely no more requests.
sadly, there will be no scion wood going out from me in 2019, just wanted to give enough advance warning. I have a last chance in a lifetime opportunity for some very specific postgraduate study and I need a completely clear run at it. There is a UK scion wood exchange on Facebook. normal service should resume from 2020.
I'm sure everyone will join me in wishing you every success in your new venture.and thankyou for your and Julie's efforts with the scion wood send out.

You're right of course, can't rely on global warming every year. Done stuff really early before, a few in January with no probs. Tend to put half outside and other half in pots in unheated greenhouse.
Stamfordian I pop them in a fridge to callus.
Thanks to your inspiration I have successfully grafted and chip budded trees. Sixty and counting. You are a remarkable teacher and you have an astounding attention to detail. I am halfway through your book. So far so good love it

After reading your book and watching just about every video you have produced, I would like to say you have inspired me to create a mini orchard (16 trees) with a few of your favourites included. Thanks for the inspiration and good work you do.
Time and again I've checked your videos to see if you have input for some of the apples I've considered for my yard. Thank you for your service to the greater good. Growing one's own apples in the dry heat where I live (near desert, eastern Washington, USA) has become my own cause celebré. (I also send scions when my little trees can spare the twigs.) Bless you!

Thank you for your wonderful parcel of scion wood i just received. I have been grafting like mad with one eye on your videos and my room is covered in bits of wood. As soon as my apple trees get active i shall be ready to graft for real!

Thanks Stephen for the work you do, I haven't got any scion wood yet but I expect it will come, tree aid is a very important charity but I still believe water aid (the one I donate to) is also very important, keep the spirit alive and see if can do an update on the pond. Thanks
