Thanks for sharing. I will check out this spot. I appreciate posting the location. Brings more awareness to taking care of this spot. Pack it in pack it out.
I've driven my 2 wheel drive 1961 Corvair throughout that entire area. Smooth easy roads except when spring melt away is happening as there is major clay mud coming up from the way of the dam.
This trip was before the body mount chop but just driving it around town I have no more rubbing. I will give it the full review after our Colorado trip! I will let the Trailhawk share his thoughts on the RTT but what he told me was no solution is perfect…
@@advfamily Thats great. Good to know for next time. I did an out and back from 330 thinking the 38 side was closed. nice drive back out but would have been nice to save some time lol
Unfortunately I don’t have the coordinates but I can tell you it is on Bear Creek upstream from the confluence. The rains can play havoc on it so I know it looks different every time I go.
I'm going to go ahead and assume this whole area is currently closed due to the wildfires. Is there a reliable source for updates on when it eventually is reopened?
@advfamily I like the 1000 better. The Pro just charges faster. But as you know, they are a game changer when it come to camping and just being out and about.
This is awesome! Love the spontaneity!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Good times fellas! Nice video! You guys are doing it right!
Thank you!
Awesome video man, thanks for posting!
Thanks for watching!

Great Editing
Thanks, It is a work in progress.
Nice 👍
Kind of threw me off with the 2N09 in the description, 1N09(?)
Thanks for posting
Thanks for watching and for catching my typo, yes 1N09!
I'm complete off. If you start from 38 to 1N09,
@@tonyvega7268 Same question. I followed it on Google maps and I wonder if it's Forsee Creek at the end of 1N09.
So awesome , subscribed
I appreciate that!
Thanks for sharing, looks great and weather seems amazing!!!
It was a perfect couple of days!
Nice video!
Thanks!
Awesome video! Definitely gonna hit that trail when the weather warms up.
Enjoy!

Nice work!
New sub, great video! Amazing spot.
Welcome!
Cool shots and dialogue. Subbed
Thank you!
Nice video, we usually go to 7 oaks but but that may be a quieter alternative
I love 7 oaks too but you are right it can get a little busy
How’d your body mount chop work out?
How’d Trailhawk like his RTT?

Awesome!!!!
Thanks!!
nice truck. I have the same except it is a LB. Cheers!
Right on!
Nice video away from all the stress of the city , would you take a stock tacoma trd 4x4? Would i run into any issues?
Thanks for watching. You shouldn't have any trouble with your stock 4X4 Tacoma this time of year. If it is raining or snow I would avoid it.
thanks for the video. Did you guys drive west or east on 1N09?
We actually did an out and back from the 38 at Angelus Oaks.
@@advfamily Thats great. Good to know for next time. I did an out and back from 330 thinking the 38 side was closed. nice drive back out but would have been nice to save some time lol
I think it had been closed north of Angeles Oaks but it was clear at least to that point when we went at the End of July.
Looks like a good spot. I'll have to give that a try. Great Vid.
Enjoy it and thanks for watching!
i cannot find the spot y’all camped at for the life of me, do you have coordinates?
Unfortunately I don’t have the coordinates but I can tell you it is on Bear Creek upstream from the confluence. The rains can play havoc on it so I know it looks different every time I go.
I'm going to go ahead and assume this whole area is currently closed due to the wildfires. Is there a reliable source for updates on when it eventually is reopened?
Sadly I think it was totally destroyed during the line fire and I would expect the area to reopen until summer of 2025
@advfamily I guess we'll have to wait and see how wet this winter will be. Mudslides are going to be a factor.
Great video. What route did you take to get there?
I went up the 38 to City Creek
Oh man all this I believe got burnt in the last fire 😢
Sadly, I think you are right…
Yes it looks like it did. Hopefully they will open the trails back up next year and we can go and asses the damage.
Do you think that a stick crosstrek could make it?
I wouldn’t try it.
What yall use for power?
I have a Jackery 1000, 500 and 240 along with a 100 watt solar panel. Depending on the season and how long I am out dictates which one or ones i take.
@@advfamily I have the 1000 pro, 1000 and 300 with 4 solar panels
@@broinsocalinice! How do like the 1000 pro compared to the regular 1000?
@advfamily I like the 1000 better. The Pro just charges faster. But as you know, they are a game changer when it come to camping and just being out and about.
@@broinsocali Thanks for the feed back and I agree with you!
How long is the trail?
I would say it is about 15 miles or so.
@@advfamily is there any turn to get to the site with water or just follow the 1n09?
Is this a first come first served
Yes it is
You need 4x4 to get there?
Yes, the road can get pretty bad in some places and down by the river it is very sandy and rocky.
Lol @ “hidden.” It’s not hidden if you post about it all over the internet.
