Stayed there many times, we were there in march 2024, they’d only been open a week I believe, your review is spot on. Site 19 is probably the most sought after campsite, it’s close to the restroom and is fairly quiet and secluded. Summer camping is difficult to reserve, we generally camp during off seasons when it’s less crowded and favorite campsites are readily available. Loved your vid, happy camping young man! 👏 😊

Thanks for this video! I am looking at this campsite as an alternative to Serrano. Do you recall what site you were at? Are there showers here too?

I don't recall the exact number but they were pretty much the same. If you have options, I would choose north of the campground so that you are farther from the cabins and more in the mountain. No showers. Serrano facilities are definitely better. safe travels!

i have a group of 20-25 trying to book multiple sites, do you recommend sites that are closer to each other?

yes, especially around the edges (not near the entrance). you'll have a bit more privacy. happy camping

Try staying in the outer sections of this campground. There are also other alternatives more in the forest itself. Happy camping 🏕️

It would have been nice if you talked about the size of the campsites.

thanks for asking. I alluded to it around 2:00 (the sites on the outside area have a lot more space). It is hard to comment on this... it's decent. I've seen better and I've seen worse... Let's just say they are spaced out enough to still enjoy yourself. Happy camping.
