You should definitely do something outside the airlines. I was talking to the missionaries at sun n fun. They have a lot of options if you wanted to go that route. You can fly various planes like even 172s. So don’t think you need all this time and type ratings. However they do require certain religious requirements. But If you want to most out of life, marry an airplane not a human, don’t have kids, think far outside the box, go in a direction opposite the majority, and most of all don’t prioritize money, prioritize your deepest passions and run with them and don’t let anyone tell you different. Because when you chase your dreams haters be hating. Family will discourage you in fear of watching you fail or jealousy. March to the beat of your own drum, stay out of your own way and you’ll see miraculous things fall into place.

A lot of folks may not know that most Go Pro type camera images are digitally stabilized, so when you see the plane move around like that on final, it's moving A LOT. An excellent job Ryan, I thought you were going to abort that second approach as well.

"That looked easier on video than it was." If so, that's terrifying, because that looked incredibly bouncy, windy, and muddy to me! I feel like my own landing videos always look all smooth and nice (I fly GA, not bush landings, so they should!) and they never come close to looking like how it feels, so when I can see that work convey through the video, I can imagine it had a proper pucker-factor!

I think you get a feel for the aircraft as it responds to different condition with the weather and your knowledge gives you instinctively reactions as you feel as one with the aircraft.
As a truck driver you get a six sense of people stupidity and most of the time I can avoid before it happens (thankfully)
but the weather plays havoc as for side winds but it is down to experience and what to do and when to do it, like you.
