I recommand the kodiak online training. Plus i think its 50% off at the moment. I bought it a couple weeks double the price but yeah, worth it . And guys, for those who dont know , PNG is one of the best place for bush trip. Do you know some other country or places to do some epic bush trips ??
kenya
@@aafootball831 thx man , ill check that.
canada has the best backwoods for that stuff ever. maybe alaska if you have enough money
@@dalejrjunior1298 oh thx ill do it on sim not in real life. I mean for now so I good money is not gonna be an issue 😁
PNG is a beautiful place, and great for private and commercial pilots because so much interesting stuff happens there.
Hey mate, Jezz from Victoria, Australia., ive been watching you for the last 2 months and you have inspired me to start my flight tarining again which i couldnt afford to continue 25 years ago. Im 54 now and got my first lesson again tomorrow. I have enjoyed so much watching you on your adventures and would love to do what you do. God willing i will get to do it. Or if not at least learn how to fly again. Keep up the awesome work mate.
I don't think there are age limits for working as a pilot in PNG. I know of a couple of helicopter pilots who were flying there well into their 70's.
What is tarining? A sloppy training? Beware of tirans tiraning you.
Sham wow
You can do it bro! May seek a flight from you soon
Be safe
Sometimes you have to watch Ryan's videos twice.
1. To listen to Ryan.
2. To just see the scenery
Greetings from Sweden!
He is great at explaining things thats fir sure. 😁
Thanks for your dedication to serving the people in Papua New Guinea. God be with you on each flight.
@itp5x5 sometimes the devil slips onboard the plane when God is busy handling some other emergency. I think the Pastor knows what he's talking about.
This is a super deep cut.... but Missionary Bush Pilot looks and sounds exactly like the Other Pilot character at the start of The Gods Must Be Crazy 2 who says the priceless line "We have a smaller plane, but we can't find it" after the lady protagonist first sees the Ultra-Light she's about to get into. Perhaps it's the jawline and the aviators, but you bush pilots are all the same haha!
When your videos first appeared in my YT feed...and subsequently watching your videos, i always loved your vocal checklist, ending with a 'crack my door'. This was during the summer, and after viewing a few vids i started to add lib... 'and crack a beer' LOL So yea, that's my story of discovering Missionary Bush Pilot. I love all your videos, pre-flight, take off, in flight, landing, the mountains, Brad, Jeff, and everything else.
Well that was one of the cooler videos I've seen in a while. Camera angles and scenery are obviously great, but I really appreciate the inlays of instruments and your constant narration of thought process and the why's of what you're doing. Absolutely fantastic to observe. Thanks for sharing.
A thrill a minute for a bush pilot. 😊 It is so scenic there, just beautiful.
The waterfalls, the plane, the route and yr comment all is 'next level.....' , my FSX is waiting......
I am amazed at everything that is going on in this video. Great job.
That physical check list switch box,, what a great idea!
"If there was no wind it would be so much easier!" Spoken like a true bush pilot! You are the man, Ryan.
Me, pretty much every time I take my 150 up 🤣
My flight instructor said to me when I was complaining of the constant crosswind during my landings: even an idiot can land the plane with no wind :DDD
Awesome, new video. Recline mode and big screen!
flight is truly one of the greatest inventions of human kind.
Thank you Ryan. The waterfalls were awesome.
Nice riding along again today. Awesome waterfalls! I always enjoy the scenery there in PNG.
Taking off from Aibai is always incredible to watch, with the valley below. Really enjoyed the views of the waterfalls. Great low level flight through the Kaw Kaw gap. Thanks Ryan.
Thanks a lot for your com
I was looking for the départure for try in fs2020
@@cdb360 and in the morning 99
Ben away for a while. The videos are still a sight to see. Thanks.
love starting my morning with these videos
Those waterfalls are nothing short of awesome!!!
4:34 My inner monologue every time I'm about to tee off on an island green par 3.
Rough takeoff, smooth landing, and some nice scenery in between. Thanks as usual for the ride-along!
I have flown into Tabubil many times on a 404 titan and a king air, busting through the mist to discover the tree tops soooo close, the on final approach “terrain pull up” the whole way in. There is a mountain at the end of the runway lol. Great vid sir, bought back some memories
Wish the big airlines had pilots like this.
Thrill a minute! KANSAS USA
Love your videos sir. Your training video was great. I wish Asobo or Working Title will hurry up and finish the G1000 NXI pages. There's a few of us in a group I fly with the love the Kodiak on the short distance flights. For the longer ones I like the Baron.
Incredibale scenery of the water falls!
Great video! Thank you for the waterfall shots!
What a great gift to be a missionary pilot 🌹
Beautiful landscape there :-)
Good god, you really know what you are doing. I would not be able to manage all those systems, I am impressed!
Awesome flight and it sure did look bumpy going down that Runway. Always love your vids.
This was a random video that came up in my feed. I thought it was awesome. Cool camera angles too!
Goroka.. he's in PNG, up in the highlands.. I lived there for 6 years back in the 70s!! wow
Damn! Nice takeoff
Dang that would be a slick name for a rock band
Another fascinating video - thank you. Interesting technique to crest over the top of that mountain, (if I've understood correctly) I'd not considered that before 🤔🤔👍✌️. I was once told by an instructor - "you know that the fuel gauge in this thing is inaccurate (German made 😲🤔🤔) so keep an eye on the tank, if you get caught short? Put in the first stage of flap and set the speed/trim at 54 kts, it'll take an age to get home, but you will make an airfield somewhere at some time"😲😄😄🙄😄👍
Another excellent video. . Many thanks Ryan
New found respect Ryan, I’m impressed you can see wind 😆
What a beautiful plane
Good video as always! Mountains, the thick blanket of grass, sky, all look beautiful!! Be blessed always!
Gorgeous flight. Very smooth landing!!!
Excelente !! Aplausos..... Gracias por tu dedicacion
Don't sink, good advice! Just to add, this guy reminds me of my flight instructor, when I soloed he got out of the plane on the taxi way and said, don't kill yourself! Another piece of good advice!
Always a pleasure to fly with you Ryan. Thank you for bringing us along with you. I'll see you in the next one.
Love those camera angle Trutru PNG
👍🏼, 👍🏼 🌷 waterfalls Thankyou! Ryan 👍🏼 👍🏼
This is Goroka Tower too NTE & good morning too you there my brother Ryan & another awesome high blood pressure trip with you again lol.
A lot of work and thinking for one pilot, short trip. Love walking through decisions, piloting and procedures.
Takeoff looked like you were offroading
So cool, love your videos. Nice work👍
You’re awesome Ryan! Keep doing what you’re doing! Love your channel brother!
I keep focus on becoming a pilot... inspiring, & instructional video btw. Thanks dude.
Those would be cool to hike to.
How about a maintenance video? These Quests work hard! Thanks
Good idea
Thanks....
Thanks once again for sharring your life with us it really is amazing what you do.
Awesome video!
You're so talented!
Awesome brother.
Brilliant ! Thanks.
Glass panel and a Velcro system on the dash, let's roll. Good work...
From the back seat, Nice ride. Do you have a rudder view? It would be fun watching you work the rudder. Thanks
Another great video, a bit of a lumpy takeoff then smooth flight to Goroka. Elimbari always looks good on a clear day. If I remember right when you go through the Kaw Kaw there was a pine forest and the local corrective services buildings on your way into Goroka. Thanks Ryan for the ride.
easy enough take off but you are committed once you go.
AS always, FANTASTIC!! I really like flying with you round PPNG!! I appreciate all the info you put out here. REALLY interesting. I must say I also appreciate what you go through to make such great content. Just having a mess of cameras does not make good content. SO much is done in the editing and production. thank you so much for all your efforts here. I enjoy it.
Hello from Minnesota USA!! You know me I comment to help your chanel grow 😁
Wow that takeoff..too close for comfort.........excelent skills.......Ryan...landing good...have a nice cup of cofee now...................
Lovely scenic flight. Thanks Ryan.
Great pilot, and great vid. Thanks!
Great video, used all of that strip, stay safe and thank you for the great service you provide.
wow Rayn beautiful as always specially take off & those tow pretty waterfalls I really enjoy your channel it really deserve to grow every Time it gets better & better have safe one's thank again for taking time to record & share.
My friend flies a de Havilland beaver with floats in Alaska getting fishermen and all their gear to and from where they want to go. I have been with him flying off small lakes where you felt like you had to put your feet up on the seat so the tree branches didn't ruin the soles of your boots. What you do is just a walk in the park Kazansky in comparison.
awesome job! you did great - difficult ldg
Great video! I enjoyed the waterfalls! Nice camera views too. 🙏
Cool video. Thanks!
Great editing 👌 and such great cameras and explanations. New subscriber here.
Great video dude! love it!
“Why is the door cracked? Oh, just incase the plane catches on fire, I can get out.” 😳 no big deal.
Nice video, nice area - good pilot and pilot info.
There is just no other flying channel like this one. Super cool....Moses
On of the safest airport In newest Guinea
Goodmorning ryan i like your videos.
I have to try this in MSFS.
I experienced a few Bush flights between Lokichoggio, Kenya and Leer South Sudan in my year with MSF. I'd highly recommend volunteering with a NGO for the experience and to gain a sense of perspective on life.
Did you have payload you were dropping when you were flying those routes?
1:33 Don't Sshhink!
Your videos r so cool! 👍👍
Now, try doing it at GW with a crosswind? Pucker factor 9/10.
Thanks Ryan
" Why Bush Pilots have HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE" is an insane title for the vid. The chap was in control throughout the entire flight.
that was beautiful, thank you
What a great job you have👌👍
You’re awesome Ryan!
Beautiful
Hi from Aussie, sweet pea ur not ADD ur OCD and it's perfect
Nice job.
Very interesting.
Pretty sure one time coming out of Hagen one of these little planes bounced off my windshield coming over the ridge there….🤣
Toujours des super vidéos👍👍👍
This looks like a great channel for FS Flight Sim 2020 flight challenges! I'm new here, but maybe flight challenges on MSFS 2020 could be a thing, you fly the real thing then challenge others to do it in the sim and post their results. Great video by the way!!!
The checklist box is cool. Why aren’t they used more widely already?
No one knows about them
