IMPORTANT RULING: Digimon cannot resolve their [On Delete] effects if the deleted card has left the Trash. So for the various moments in this video when a Bagra Army Digimon with DemiMeramon in source was d, I did the wrong order. At official tournaments, you MUST resolve DemiMeramon's inheritable first before if you want to get both effects off. NOTE: At 6:02 it should say QUEEN OF DARKNESS LILITHMON (lil editing miss) I don't think it needs to be said which of these decktypes is more relevant, consistent and successful in the meta, but it put a smile on my face watching this match develop the way it did, though I have to say it was largely possible thanks to the X4 restriction. You all know which deck won much more during playtesting, and the sad thing is how difficult it is for Bagramon himself to play a role in this matchup. In any case, this was a rather exhausting match to film. There was a lot to learn about the new Bagra tools and how to play them optimally, and I found myself constantly second guessing my plays and even having to refilm matches multiple times cos I would only realise, the next day, a better play I could have made with the resources I had (even for this match, Xros Heart won the first take due to a Bagra misplay). So honestly, I'm not super confident about this video, but I hope you guys enjoy watching it all the same. As always, please let me know if you spot any major mistakes or anything I missed so I can update the video accordingly. But for now, I'm gonna need a break before proceeding with the Quarter-FInals.

I think the card that I severely underestimated but ended up proving me wrong was Madleomon Armed Mode. His mere existence doubles the number of on-draw (by effect) Memory chokers in the deck, increasing both Tactimon's consistency and setup efficiency. And with the right materials in hand, he can be dropped as an extra choker for 2 cost. Tuwarmon and MusoKnightmon tho? I still think they're pretty meaningless as you can see from my ratios. I've seen Japanese players run builds with 0 MusoKnight. Tuwarmon is worth keeping at least 2 for the inheritable. Chikurimon... idk yet, being 4 to play feels a bit clunky even if you consider he's basically 3 if you have Yuu on the board. But definitely a 4 of just for the trait and inheritable
Amazing match! Superb showing from both sides! And that fact that, for once, the deck I was rooting for one against a top contender is making me quite cheerful too. Can't wait to see more of Bagra Army in the next round.
I didn't want to build a xros heart deck, but Shoutmon X7 has such a cool presentation and it's so cool to pull out with all the materials, such a final boss
Those matches are always so hype! I'm happy that the deck I was rooting for snagged the win. It's funny how the boss monster of the deck didnt join the fight, similar to the anime. Thank you for the great fights as always.
Hell yeah! Barga Army actually won! It’s next match is against Mugendramon, huh. If Mugendramon plays smart, they’ll have the advantage here, but all it takes it one rookie or one Chaosdromon to derail the deck. Looking forward to it!
In playtesting, I often ran into losses due to getting the generals in the wrong order. Which is a problem that can't really be helped cos running too many of them alongside Bagra himself can be bricky, tho Armed Mode tries to mitigate this with massive draws. But when you draw into them in the right order, the deck runs so differently it's almost magical (1) A Blastmon drawn early game can be an unexpected sudden game ender. And if searched, forces the opponent to be wary and make defensive plays. (2) Those defensive plays limit your opportunities to play Blast. But early game, unless you're extremely lucky, your Trash won't be rich enough to make full use of Tactimon. So that's where Lilith comes in as an extender, slowing down the opponent's offense by locking their Raising Area as you accumulate the Trash further. (3) Once the opponent breaks through Lilith, Tactimon comes in on full Trash to wall the opponent off, resulting in two outcomes: EITHER your opp can't deal with the Tacti swarm and loses to it... (4) OR they barely survive it. And Blastmon comes swinging in at the end to finish the game. Depending on matchup/situation, Bagramon can play this role by eliminating a pesky Blocker/redirector while trashing the opponent's final Security too
at 2:42 i could be mistaken but if you choose to use on deletion save first then you lose out on the draw one trash one from demimera inherit since the digimon it was under is no longer in trash (not a huge deal since you can easily do it the other way but worth knowing I think)

I generally didn't think the card was that good since DarkKnightmon doesn't have much of a place in the deck & it doesn't play into the memory stealing side of the deck. Its not the -3 that matters, its the fact that Lilith can force a -1 when trashing an evo card to pay for the -3 when Sparrow moves out. And that would leave Xros Heart with insufficient memory to play X7 and attack with it in the same turn
A really fuckin fun duel, but there's a couple things I DO wanna complain about with the decklist for Xros Heart. I'll focus on one bit for now. Namely, even though she's already been in the tourney, I'd say Mervamon would still be a better pick for the deck over two DX. The Semi-Finals are looking great. But, whose going to win? We may never know, yet anyway.
@@rustmarrow Either way, the prospects for this iteration of the Digital World... don't look very good. All of the teams that were eliminated in this first round except for the markedly neutral Sukamon were heroic in nature: Niko, Akiho, Mervamon, Rina and Xros Heart United, and from the remaining characters, only Taiga and Mirei can be considered particularly heroic- Yuuya has his own interests in mind, falling closer to neutral, and all three of Galacticmon, Analog Man and the Bagra Army are unambiguously evil. At the very least for the heroes there is one silver lining: one evil will be eliminated in the next round as Analog Man will square off against the Bagra Army. The Jet Black Tamer Hunter, BWGX w/Yuua vs Primary Village's Chief and The Rusted Predator, Jijimon and RustTyranomon w/Taiga
The Parrel World Tactician, Mastemon w/Mieri vs The Forgotten Enemy, Galactimon
And,
The Machine of Infinite Destruction, Machinedramon vs The Head of the Army and Boss of the 3 Officers, Bargamon.
The Semi-Finals are looking great. But, whose going to win? We may never know, yet anyway.
Quarter-Finals actually haha
It's just a manner of whether Mirei and Taiga can bring down Yuuya and Galacticmon respectively.
...Wait, doesn't that mean there will be _three_ decks left after the second set of matches? How will the Semi-finals work in that case?
@@Hyperneosonic97 For how the semi-finals would work: well in the Biggest Dreamer cup, which also had 3 finalists, rustmarrow just had 3 matches between them. Although if he's calling it the semi-finals, maybe he has something else planned. idk.
Ah dammit, I was rooting for Xros Heart, The X7 variants are so much fun to play.
Then again, I suppose with Xros Heart losing both Sunrize Buster and Shoutmon X4, the deck took a massive, _massive_ blow. God knows Xros Heart is gonna be totally unviable in the western BT10 metagame because they honestly don't have any other options.
Welp, I'm rooting for Galacticmon and Machinedramon and Taiga from now on.
Bagra army is such a fun deck but if you don’t get Yuu, you straight up lose the game.
why milleniumon?
Reference to the Xros Wars manga, also it counters Save in a pinch
woop
Oh man they lost
😆 For the Bagra ARMY👍👍
