The fact that the game continued for so long after both of them hit 0 memory is insane to me. The protection they were able to mount to keep it going was great.
Another interesting video. I didn’t really think of using MusoKnightmon that way. That’s really cool! I can’t wait for the support in EX4, Reboot SkullKnightmon means that you won’t need to drop search rookies for ToyAgumon, and Kiriha+Nene help with memory issues, since DarkKnightmon needs 4 memory to pull off its bigger plays.
2:55 Misplay here. You cannot digivolve Knightmon into Musoknightmon because it can only digivolve from purple lvl 4 or black lvl 5. Knightmon's effect allows you to digivolve without paying its cost but you still have to meet digivolution requirements.
What an amazing match. I love the bagra army deck and Darkkightmon decks and can't wait for the more support in bt11and 12 in English to come. And man that was such anime style match, keep up the great work. Really hoping to see 2 types of Beelzemon gameplay. One utilizing ST14 and then another using bt12 support. You can truly build Beelzemon in so many ways now with all the new support from the starter deck and bt12
Honestly, this is a very hype video. I will say I always see Bagra Army Darkness Bagramon, but this was a very nice treat to see how the other side handles it. I'm quite interested to sere how everything develops with EX-04 coming.
skullknightmon doesn't ignore digivolution requirements, so it can't evolve into musoknightmon because it only evolves from lv4 purple or lv5 black, but skullknightmon is lv4 black.
According to the BT9 Q&A released on 22/09/22, MusouKnightmon can be selected as the target of any effect that targets a [DarkKnightmon] due to it being treated as a [DarkKnightmon] as well. I guess doing it through BT7 SkullKnightmon's effect bypasses the level requirement.

Effects that allow you to ignore level, color, or cost always specify it, either by saying it ignores it or by directly saying it ignores digivolution requirements. but skullknightmon only says that it ignores the cost, not the level, not the color.

Referring to the last turn of the game, should have blocked with DarkKnight to get the skullknight out as a blocker, then he would have both Monitamon and SkullKnight. This way, X7SM would bottom deck only one of the 2 blockers, leaving 1 of them to tank the X7SM hit, and possibly win on the next turn
At 6:16 even though you check izzy izumi to pass the turn of xh. The x7 should be still checking another one security since its still on progress effect(+1 sec attack from omnishoutmon). The attack hasnt been ended yet since it still only check 1 sec.
Any chance you would be willing to post Buddyfight content again? Even if it is with proxy cards. Would love to see content again with updated decks post Buddy-Ragna and even battles. We know that game is over but we still love the game and would love to see some content still.
Im not saying the Bagramon player should have expected Superior mode, but in my experience as a darknightplayer, putting mightyaxemode under bt10 darknightmon and blocking in scenarios where darknightmon dies, lets it float into a new unsuspended blocker. Thus when superiormode was played, there would have been a monitamon blocker and MightyAxemode blocker to get through.
Having blockers wouldn't have helped; Ballistamon inheritable gives the Shoutmon X(#) forms Piercing. Also, X& Superior's bottom-deck effect was used on DKM specifically so he wouldn't float. Unfortunately, Xros Heart is a hard counter for DarkKnightmon, as the combination of Rush, Piercing, and Sec+1 means Xros Heart hits too hard and too fast for small blockers to make much of a difference.
@UberPwner09 Piercing doesn't win the game when blocked. The Darkknight player had no security going into the final turn, so piercing wasn't relevant. My point was if they blocked x4 with Darkknightmon instead of Monitamon, there would have been 2 blockers in play to keep them alive when Superior Mode was played. 1 to be removed and 1 to block with. I dont know the exact math on what other plays they had, but it looks to me that they didnt have enough cards to play Superior mode before swinging with X4 otherwise it was a misplay to swing first.
Hi just found out Skullknightmon cannot digivolve to Musouknightmon with it's affect at 2:52. Since Musouknightmon cannot digivolve from a lvl 4 black digimon, and skullknightmon does not ignore digivolution requirement, it won't be a valid target. Thought it was really cool interaction until I found out how musouknightmon work...
HOLY CRAP. SHOUTMON KING MODE FINALLY MADE HIS DEBUT AFTER 2 VIDS!!! This was an amazing fight between the Dark Brothers and Xros Heart. Did not expect Bagramon's return tamers effect and both Mervamon and King mode to be in play! Mervamon's [Xros Heart] summoning was crazy as well. Did not know you can actually summon X4 and X3!! Really enjoyed the video as always :)

De digivolution can be confusing for me, like how come shoutmon x3 becomes shoutmon instead of trashing shoutmon from shoutmon x3?
De-Digivolve X means you take away the the top X cards from the digimon. Removing digivolution cards is a different effect.
Now if fusion was more like this then maybe it would've been better received
X7 superior mode is bonkers. Nice game.
