If you like the old Deathcore/Metalcore sound, you should check out "Greyen" by MergingMoon. It's another Japanese band, but I am pretty sure they sing in English.

Polyphia are very jazzy and R&B and rap inspired. If you want something a little bit heavier I would recommend checking out ego death with Steve Vai.

Why would you wanna stay sponsor free? I assume i know why but i feel like its the wrong aproach. I dont view sponsors as problematic in general, the problematic part is what sponsors people choose to work with.
