You know that lick that Steve Vai did was dope as fuck if you get a reaction like that from people who dont even know he is the legend. You mentioned rapping to the music, watch Polyphia's Chimera video.
@@rosegokublack8981 Yeah probably hundreds of famous artists were inspired by Zappa for sure , Even Deep Purple were inspired when they wrote Frank Zappa and the Mothers , Were at the best place around but some stupid with a flare gun burned the place to the ground , So yeah one of the greatest rock songs in history Smoke on the water was inspired by a Zappa and Mothers of Invention show that went wrong.
Steve Vai started his career as Frank Zappa's guitarist. That guitar is his second version of his Ibanez signature guitar. The original is called the Jem. And that beauty he's playing is called the Pia.
They young and probably into a different genre of music , Most people from the 00s wont know who Vai is as his work was predominantly from the 80s and 90s , Saying that Yngwie Malmsteen anyone? LOL
@@double8432 Well, according to the title, they're jazz musicians. Steve Vai does not fall into that realm. And more than likely, knowing Steve Vai means you're a guitarist. We don't know what instruments they play. The world doesn't revolve around you
Not being able to read the title of the song you're reacting to is way more insane :D It literally says "feat. Steve Vai" and they're asking who is this, are people becoming dumber and dumber by the minute ?
first of all, who are you and where have u been D: I cryed laughing so hard from your stank faces damn. I'd love to know more from your Jazz background, more videos like that would be awesome! Polyphia content is always nice as well :)
That Dude is Steve Vai hes been around like 45 years ! started out in Frank Zappas band then went into a band with Graham Bonnet called Alcatrazz and was in David Lee Roth's group and Whitesnake dude is like 65 years old but still will smoke your ass LOL , Also Check out another old timer Yngwie Malmsteen to have your minds blown LOL
Do the song 'Classic Dragon' by Marcin and Tim Henson (he's the neck tat guy in Polyphia) and Nosetalgia by Pusha T and Kendrick. Nosetalgia never got the recognition from the public for the masterpiece that it is.
Great reaction!! My first time listening to playing god, I was like OMG. First time listening /watching G. O. A. T., had to change my pants. Please react to G. O. A. T. Won't be disappointed. 😊
Ill make sure to mention you when we react! I have loved them so far so I am sure we will love that song as well! Stay tuned for the new video, should be coming out by this weekend. Thank you for watching :)
You should check out Vasudeva. They have a great live session from audiotree for their song "stop making yourself miserable" They're definitely for jazz dudes
you guys need to check some Plini too! australian guitarist with a ton of good metal influences just like polyphia but it's different. Plini is more like prog metal with some jazz infused. Check out his "Impulse Voices" album, "Sunhead" EP and "Handmade Cities" album. You both won't regret.
Listen to O.D. by polyphia plz. You guys are funny. Caught yourself a sub. Edit: whenever you pause gohead and take it back like 10 seconds before you just hop back in that.

I despise this new trend of youtube reactors ruining their reaction by previewing their biggest reaction at the beginning of their video. it literally makes me not want to watch the video. I'm sure I'm not the only one.
That guy with the cut through Ibanez is the legendary Steve Vai one of the best guitar players ever

You should check out the bands "Animal as Leaders" and "Unprocessed" for more modern guitar gods.

As fellow musicians, you gotta react to Marcin Patrzalek. I recommend starting with his cover of Moonlight Sonata or Kashmir.
yo this band polyafa is indeed very good

not a jazz musician or not even a casual jazz listener (more of rock/metal) but i do know louis armstrong, dizzy, coltrane, parker lol
Another vote for Animals as Leaders. Also you need to find Plini. If you want more from Polyphia, do Goose.
If you haven't already you guys should do some laufey songs like bewitched or everything I know about love

BRUH THATS STEVIE VAI HE'S THE GOAT
bro thats steve vai.. the man is a guitar legend
mannn ain't no glazin on Playing God, we got same thoughts.
Kamasi Washington - my friend of misery . It's a hardcore jazz version of a Metallica song
The guitar is his signature, so kinda free for him, but theyre 899 usd i think? Great to play, and will bluntly show every mistake you make on nylon.
Try reacting to Pisces (live session) by Jinjer. Her vocals will blow you away

If you like this sort of guitar work try Matteo Mancuso
“Who are you” 😐
They literally have an anime protagonist and a Jesus Christ for guitarists.
You should watch Steve Vai's Tender Surrender live video.
So since you are just being introduced to Steve Vai. Tender Surrender, For the Love Of God, and Teeth of the Hydra. are my suggestions.
What instruments do you guys play?
Please react to The Omnific- Kismet, nice reaction.
The disrespect on Steve vai’s name is wild🤣🤣
