My Journey has a code of P0072. The outside temp stays at 185° . It does not change. I replaced the sensor a couple of times and it did not fix the problem. Please help

Is there a way to bypass this so it can blow out cold air regardless of reading?

On mine you can gain access to the sensor from underneath without to have to take the grill out… but every vehicle is different and mine is a ‘13

If it's still off check for damaged or corroded wiring to the temperature sensor. Mice LOVE chewing car wiring, and if you're in the rust belt the sensor is usually in a spot that can get corroded after a few winters.
It could also be the BCM (Body Control Module) having failed, but you're likely to have a lot of other problems if that's bad. Your traction/stability control warning lights should be on if it's the BCM.
