So I hit the cement block in a parking spot. Didn't realize I must have hit the cord holding this up, because that's been hanging underneath my car. And my engine light came on. And code reader said it was this. So Now I know how to fix it. Thank you!
Where is the location of the cabin air temperature sensor for the Dodge Journey? I looked behind the driver side lower access panel where they are normally located and I cannot find it. Any suggestions?
I have a 2017 Dodge Journey Crossroad Plus , and I took the grill off and the sensor is not along the reinforcement bar. There are no wires going under the bar at all. I have no idea where my ambient temp sensor is. I really want to change it. It’s 85 degrees outside but it’s reading 133 degrees on the dash.
hello such good videos I would like to know why my hose of my pcv valve stays very flat at the moment my car is on and pushes to vibrate and smells a lot of gasoline and earth smoke white the valve pcv this new my car is a mazda cx7 2.3 turbo 2007 I would like your help
Maybe a bit late but, check the left side of the lower grille (right side while looking at it from the front) on the front bumper. Just shine a light, if its there you should be able to see it. To access it you need to remove the shield underneath.
Your ambiant temperature sensor has nothing to do with the way your engine will run you were wrong saying it will affect fuel economy and motor function. Now the sensor will affect how your ac and heat work
Same issue. My husband changed the sensor and the wiring harness. First it was reading -38 now it won't read at all, no a/c. The dodge dealership wants to change every major a/c component and charge $1800...Now they say the TIPM isn't working lol that's 1300....can anyone help pls. My car runs great otherwise and I feel like the dealership just wants money
I'm having the same issue. Mine is reading -35°. The dealership replaced the sensor but it is still reading the same -35°. So I wait and see what they come up with.
We replaced the sensor and the wiring harness. The Dodge dealership told us we needed to replace almost every component of our a/c system to fix the problem, which we knew was wrong because the a/c works when the sensor reads. Then they told us to replace the TIPM....which we found for 600 at o'Reilly. It was just a wire the entire time....that my husband found...so I recommend everyone check the wiring. My husband bypassed the connection that runs around the wheel well and connected it to the TIPM and we've had a/c ever since.

You need to clear the code from the car.Restart. It should be cleared then.

You don’t have to take the grill off to reach the sensor. It’s easily accessible from underneath the car.
Brilliant
Its true, no need it is better if you remove the plastic cover underneath and you have better access to the sensor than from the grill
My sensor isn't located in that position. I have 2011, but i removed the grill and nothing!!!! Looked behind the wheels wells too.

Mine is not located there there’s nothing at all indicating it ever was either and I can’t find it.
