Good video!! Any idea where the ambient air temperature sensor is in the 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee (non trailhawk)? I keep searching and cannot find it on the internet - and I haven’t spotted it with my eyes either. Haha ha.
Hi From the UK - I am an odyssey AKA @Super-Grand-Ad:f - I Had and fixed several faults on my Vauxhall zafira but could not reset the CPU to all OK with the diagnostic ( tried 3 ) So I did the same, Remove the Battery Leads - Short for 30Sec's - Refit Leads - All reset OK :-)
@@Mr_Goody I did the short thing back in 2020 - But was not thinking, Make a video then, just glade to clear the displayed faults - I could have beat you to the video making LOL
It is snapped on to the lower part of the front grill near the ground. I haven’t watched my own video in a while but I’m pretty sure that I sure where it’s at in the video.
Thank you, this worked on a 2018 journey. Was reading -40 temp, replaced sensor, and that fixed the temp, but the CEL was still on.
mine just did this. says -40. 2015 dodge journey
Thank you so much for posting this video and for keeping it up on your channel. It helped me to complete my install and get my inspection! ❤❤❤
You are welcome my friend. 👍✌️

You should always remove negative first.
Yes and when you put the battery back on it should go just the opposite you should put the positive on first and then the negative.
It works great for me thanks
Your Welcome 👍
I have a 2015 journey i did that and my temperature went to -17 now
You may have a bad ambient temperature sensor, or it may be wired wrong with the wiring harness.

Ok but where is the actual sensor located?

Does this work for a 2012 Dodge avenger I replaced wiring and sensor still read -44
To be honest I’m not 100% sure.
