I also did my heat wrap without gloves... I regretted it afterwards🤣
I also regretted it. And this I didn't even use heat wrap in my car, my buddy did and giving him a hand pulling his engine out was not fun at all.

A good tip for a broken bolt like that is if you can get an angle grinder/dremel tool to the part sticking out, grind a slit in so you can put a flathead screwdriver in there and just twist it out. Won't work on all broken bolts, but one like that would've been easy. Good on you, though. Glad it came out.

Do not use those metal zip ties! Get metal pipe clamps that are big enough to fit around the down pipe and screw it down, the metal zip ties are known to break, especially when using them with heat wrap.
@The Frozen Goat it's not really about them being cut, but just breaking on their own, I've watched a few other youtubers who have said the metal zip ties aren't reliable, like TJ, when he wrapped one of his cars downpipes his came with metal zip ties and he said that any time he's used them, the wrap has come off, plus with a clamp it's a lot easier to screw it down tighter than just pulling metal zip ties, so it can get a tighter seal on it.

My 1st time commenting on your vids but I was watching you put the heat wrap on like I wonder when he's going to complain about his hands because when I did my motorbike exhaust I didn't use gloves either 😂 and I would still keep an eye on the heat wrap because I only went on a 4 mile drive and my wrap was burnt and nearly set fire. Great work on your channel and car as usual. Keep it up 👍 and stay committed.
You may not see this comment robbie, but i just wanted to say that we love you bro, and the people that were upset with the color, had the opportunity to help decide it, so if they didn't give their input, or started watching later on they have no-one to blame but themselves. You make some of the best genuine content on youtube, don't take the hate everyone is giving you about the color personally, you did something awesome by letting your viewers have input on the color and painting process. I like your videos because you're honest you know you know about cars but not everything if something doesn't work you find your own way to fix it you know and by using wish and stuff not like a 400 $500 wrap or some type of intake or exhaust you go on the budget side

Amazing video! Loved the content❤ I've been using a turbo blanket for many years. They are fantastic for controlling heat. The only downside is the fibers, as you can see the shiny "bling-bling" towards the end of the video 15:26, which sticks to everything and make your skin itchy.

I did the same thing with my turbo, so I tac welded a bit of metal to it. It snapped about 25mm off the turbo itself, soaked it in WD-40 then rewelded it again. It took alot of time but we got it 😂

Next time u get a broken bolt that extends out see if u can grind a flat side on it so the vise grips will grab on easily. That usually works or you could weld a bolt onto it. If it breaks inside u can use a right hand drill bit, irwin ez out extractor or drill it out and re-thread.
Might have to pick up one of those turbo blankets now... 🤔

I knew there was something off about the color but I couldn’t place it, now that you have said it though, it 100% looks like primer. Also you should strap that fire extinguisher inside the car somewhere.
Sup Robbie, leave the headlight like it is, add fog light assembly and make it yellow tint, will look awsome. I suggest adding window tint. Good luck, i alway enjoy watching your video!.

im going with the honda diamond white. looks dull like that inside but in the sun or rain it shines like crazy! oh and the gf loves the sparkles
the heat wrap will cause lots of smoke at first..so i would think it wasnt the blanket and deffo the heat wrap. Also the metal fibres in your hand are off the heat wrap, should wear gloves as its a pain to get rid of the little fibres
My 2g eclipse was that color paint. I actually got it mixed for me because I like the primer look,but primer doesn't hold up without covering.
Car is looking great Robbie, I think you should go with the yellow tint and clear side markers. Maybe get some decent quality tint tho so the color is mint.. Quality conent always 👍
Keep the headlights blue and install aftermarket fog lights that you can have the yellow tint on

I have put the leds in yellow fog lights and they came out a green color. Something to consider but why not give it a shot, it’s just tint.

Robby i think the grainyness in the video might be from your lights in the garage. Just a guess but try and hold it closer and farther from each light while recording and see what that does. (EDIT) nevermind you just need a new camera haha it happened at the mountains so i dont have a clue

I think you should improve cooling now, because the wrap and the blanket keep the heat inside the pipes. I think an oil cooler mounted onto the front bumper would look rad!
When I get something from Wish is because I know it will work twice maybe three times and it gets tossed. You are very brave with a Wish built
