    Wow, you got so much done! The house looks charming, and I'm sure you are glad to have it done--that's a lot to accomplish! I love the idea and the execution of the sliding bathroom doors in particular!

    What a beautiful little house! You have great taste and it is amazing how much reclaimed materials you were able to use.

    Hope the next video will be - Total renovation star to finish... can't wait to see a walking tour at the end of the video of the entire house and all the space inside ... Can you also share in your next video the future projects, when you will start to tackle the big house, may be a tour of it or drawings of the layout, what and when you plan to do... Thanks!

    Looks like an old soldier's croft. Do you know what year it was built? Kept any original features?

    • @buildaway
      @buildaway  3 месяца назад

      Hi! I couldn't really figure out what year the house was built. The family selling it to us, keep saying "it's very old". But I can't find the building in old satellite photographs from the 60's and 70's. Also, if it is very old originally, the old owner did a lot rebuilding himself in the 80's or 90's, because I found a lot of his materials when taking apart the building. We kept a lot of the features in the living room the same, for example the fireplace.

    How can doors open and close simultaneously? Simultaneously means at the same time, or not?

    • @buildaway
      @buildaway  4 месяца назад

      Hi! At 01:27 and 04:10 you see me closing one door where the other one follows. Does that answer your question?

      @@buildaway You covered the Fusebox with tong and groove rather than hinged door for an easy access.

    • @buildaway
      @buildaway  4 месяца назад +1

      I made a board out of the same tong and groove as the panelling on the walls. The board is still removable to access the fusebox. I'll show you in the next video.
