It's been a long time coming but we've finally completed (most) of the downstairs renovation works and have moved in. Join us on a tour of the downstairs as we reveal what we've achieved over the last few years. We'll show some of the highlights of the work that took place in each room and give you a tour of our new home.
Yes, it's still a work in progress. Yes, there's still lots to do - both in the house and on the land. But we're proud of what we've achieved so far and are looking forward to share the rest of the journey with you.

Thank you for doing this recap video! It brings somewhat of a closure as the viewer that has watched you throughout the struggles of digging up a floor, plastering walls, doing plumbing, ceiling beams, putting up the bell tent area, and all the other do and redo projects. And thank you for letting us tag along during this journey where we can forget the worries of life, enjoy nature and watch the build come along. And let’s not forget the jokes/ innuendos along the way that have made us smile. Looking forward to more of your videos, be it cooking, beer making, garden or house build.

23:05 You can get battery adapter for Dyson battery hoover (dewalt, makita or Milwaukee). So You can use it with your battery tool batteries for longer and swap them without waiting as original charger not so efficient and meter of time when original battery gonna show signs of life. If You consider buying adapter make sure You choose correct model of Dyson as there are two or three types of adapters. Like Your project. Kind Regards

Attention to detail pays off eventually. Quick jobs lead to big problems. I've been a builder for 50 years and I can honestly say you're doing a great job.
A professional would do it quicker. That's all. Taking it more slowly ultimately leads to better decisions. Revised decisions sometimes. I'm old now and I have to go slowly. I find that, that leads to more thinking about things for longer than I ever did before and a better result.
I had to earn a living at building but you guys don't.
Carry on doing the job well and creating great videos.

What an amazing job you two have done! Such a lovely “smart” home, and glad to know you’re more comfortable.
Regarding a washer/dryer. I had a combination it´s ideal for only 1 or 2 people saves space and works quite well.
I would enjoy seeing the brewing process. Enjoy the videos.
One thing would make me happier than watching Guy make beer. That would be sitting on the deck having some of that beer while having a lovely chat with you both. Love the channel, love the project, love your camaraderie.

We haven’t, but it’s in our list. We were recently at a beer festival and spoke with a Portuguese grower. We’re hoping to visit him later this year to check out his setup and buy some seedlings

For people just discovering your renovation journey, this video was great showing the transformation. I’m guessing the editing was a lot of work. I love seeing the pieces of inherited furniture being put into active duty. Beautiful rooms that are perfectly imperfect with so much soul.
