I’m a woman early 60’s now. My husband and I always did house building projects together and I often worked without him especially If we were demolishing. You, fantastic woman are a higher level! Power to you! Always exhausted at the end of the day but the morning with mug in hand you quietly look over the previous days work. Then get going again. What an inspiration you are.

That's right 😁 except looking back, I always look in front of me. Except when I make content, then I am confronted with everything I've done and finally getting the benefits of reflecting and trying to think of what I have learned and feeling proud! Who knew there could be an upside of social media? 😉 thank you for your nice comment

Men vilken tur du trillade över min kanal!

I think the opportunity to buy a cheap property, immersed in nature. Urbanization have hit especially the north of Sweden hard in some places. I bought my house pretty cheap too, relatively, as house prices here in south in generally higher. But my house is too large for most households and those with many kids might not want such a big project 🤷‍♀️ unless you are like me, a bit crazy 😉

Wow, this is amazing!!! (especially the kitties--sorry kitty mom here). I am 64 and a DIY person, I have done almost everything you did except fixing roof tiles (we have ugly asphalt shingles in US), the plastering of the edges of walls (no plaster repairs here) and the breaking down a brick wall and re-building. You are amazing, I am so proud of you, to see a female do all this in our man's world is wonderful. I am currently working on a brick patio/entry, just finished a ceiling and possibly building another dry stack stone wall in the spring, but today the day before the first of December I am going to try to cut down a tree far larger than I can handle, but the wait list is too long for me to wait, so here goes. I also hate going to a big builders store to find the men telling me what to buy when I know what I am doing, my husband is a retired builder, so I have soaked in all that he did and it feels good not to have to pay a man to do what I can do myself and the satisfaction of seeing their faces when they ask what "company" did the work. I love your kitties, I have a small group of them. Keep it up, thank you for sharing, this property looks amazing!!!!!!!!!

Lovely old house in good condition with useful outbuildings . I am impressed with your practical skills and for personally doing so much of the work. Sensible changes and use of machines where practical. Greetings from NZ.

Girlfriend, you look like me after my divorce: nothing in my flat worked! The sink was cracked, there were no flooring, no light fixtures--nothing!!! Talk about the nights I cried myself to sleep on a mattress in the master bedroom with no furniture!!!! True story! I got myself together and became handy like you. I can hang wallpaper and light fixtures, put a sink in along side the washing machine and dishwasher! I bought the click laminate and a circular saw to install my floors. Furniture came from the second hand store! Can't afford the Laura Ashley curtains? Calculate the cloth needed, order the fabric online and made my own. I've had to move flats, BUT my first flat taught me how to be a survivor. Well done! I have much respect for your!

@@old_school_moaboa People like you on YT have been my inspiration! All those years the men in my life telling me that "remodeling was men's work" didn't bold me well. However, when I found myself divorce and desperate, I quickly learned! I wish my foster father were still alive because he would be so proud that I did it all by myself without calling my uncles and brothers! Thank you for sharing and being an inspiration!
