can't really compare a samurai moves at the speed of sonic, with unusual techniques that make him hella agile. he even uses his sheath as a weapon an its called the twin dragon technique an the sheath breaks the users dominant arm with the sheath. everyone thinks yoriichi solos kenshin but kenshin def annilates him since his sword technique is unpredictable and simply melts through his techniques
And dont forget kenshin has already dealt with somebody with elemental like abilites with their blade. Yorichi, gyomei and muzan can be a bit difficult if it's not battousai kenshin because normal kenshin doesn't kill but otherwise this is really accurate! If Himura was some sort of raw skilled samurai in animeverse with all his fights will be the strongest skilled swordsman in the anime for his only swordsman skill alone. If Himura was some sort of raw skilled samurai in animeverse with all his fights will be the strongest skilled swordsman in the anime for his only swordsman skill alone. Compare to Himura, DS characters just swordsmen with hacks like comparing Hattori as traditional ninja with Naruto as ninjas with magical powers (chakra)
The only reason Kenshin ever struggled was because of him using a reversed blade. Every attack he landed was a kill move otherwise. He was so good he could take down any of his enemies without killing them.

1. Reaction
We see at DS the reaction of each characther is fast but i think Samurai X is faster. Well except Yourichii ofc. I can say everyone other than Yourichi can be defeated easly. Because of this reason.
2. Technique.
Breathing technique have more advantage here because it help them with bleeding and poison and other. But this is the time get hot. If we talk about technique Samurai X still win, why?? Because they much or i can say a bit faster. We dont know because both is fast and we cant see it. But look at the feat we have, ok? Lets see *grab glasses*
First. Yourichi destroy more than 1k+ of muzan cell (forget how much) but can we say samurai X slow? No!!! We cant see them move!
Second. The last form of sun breathing is created to destroy qll muzan heart and brain. Which mean its same like.... uhh... i forget the move, but the name start with kyuu (nine). This hiten Mitsurugi (Correct if i wrong) have a very similar move. Its attack all part of important limbs for swordsman.
Ok lets move from speed, to more effective. Part of attack. We can see at DS the main target is neck because its the weakness of demon. But at Samurai X they much more detail, they attack like Chest, both arm and legs, neck, anything.
DS character is also easy to predict for Kenshin. Why?? Because he can sense for their emotion, maybe sanemi is easy target for him. But this is not gonna make kenshin win. There is more.
3. IQ and Battel IQ
Almost all DS character is uhh... not quite good at term of IQ except muzan. But there is different with Samurai X, why?? Just see the place and how they react of Shishio plan so quick. They are quick thinker.
For Battle IQ no need to debate, they have much more experience at war and 1v1. Just look at Saito and Shishio they are too overrated for battle IQ.
4. Rule of Sword in Japan
This is rule is... we prefer to kill our enemy fast. This we cant give to DS because their main enemy is Demon who can regenerate. But i can say this is equal in human fight.
5. Sword
DS probably wins this because red blade nichirin is much better. But Unfortune we only fight kenshin he have the sword made by one of greatest blacksmite. And now it got buff with the more finest sakabato. Also shishio sword is much better than DS red Nichirin. Red nichirin just hot blade, shishio? You have fire?
Shishio : yeah use my sword.
6. Number.
Kenshin win, bro team up with whole police in japan. He even have some strong friend too like sojiro, saito, aoshi (probably). This is Uppermoon level or even higher. And DS corps is only like Shishio grup, probably like 500-1k+ idk. Ohh yeah also forget, they got GUNS!!.
Maybe thats it. Remember this is my opinion, if you dont agree. debate with their fans not me. I am here just giving what i saw from both anime. (I just wacth eps 60 dont judge me)
