Sans knows he can never win, but since he knows the timeline is going to get erased, he decides to rather die in a fight. Gojo IS the strongest, to the point the world of Jujutsu SHOOK when he was just born. It was so strong that the balance was shifted, forcing all Curse users to disappear and Curses to get significantly stronger. He's not a guy to tell jokes or entertain you, even though he's nice and funny guy He cares about others, especially his friends and ready to take revenge and even kill a lot of people.(-Dust- Blood!Gojo would go hard asf if Geto didn't make him reject the idea of killing all non-sorcerers the 1st time) He has friends, but feels lonely due to how hard it is to be the strongest, how nobody can understand him and how this strength alone can't help him to change the world for the better. His attacks mess with spacetime, which means he can manipulate gravity and teleport too, but he can't change gravity for a specific person, he can only create areas with high attractive(Lapse Blue) and repulsive(Reversal Red) force and by combining those two create imaginary mass that erases everything by compressing it between two unimaginably powerful attractive and repulsive forces(Hollow Purple) He usually doesn't dodge, as due to Infinity dividing space between him and the attacks and objects to the point they appear stationary, after which he can touch them or play with them or throw them back, no attacks can reach him except the ones that nullify his passive Infinity according to the rules of Jujutsu. His Domain Expansion is an instakill move for almost anything, so much so even Sukuna couldn't use his Malevolent Shrine or RCT after getting hit by it even tho he didn't die from it. (And if not for him redirecting all the damage to Megumi's soul and making Mahoraga adapt to Unlimited Void before, Sukuna would've died there and then lol). He also uses Simple Domain and Falling Blossom Emotion to counter Sukuna's Domain sure hit effect. He can also heal himself and fix CT burnout with RCT. He was taking himself dying as a possibility, but he was pretty confident he would win. Gojo is almost or even on the SAME level as Sukuna and could dodge the World Slash easily if he wasn't overconfident, as much weaker people dodged it.
If I had a coin for everytime we had a story where the protagonist is controled by a evil being and does bad stuff to people with slashes Basically One-shoots everyone until they meet a character that gets attacked but can tank the hits after the first One And then when they have 19 out of 20 of their power, they go to fight a fan favorite character, with blue eyes, gravitacional abilitys, and is "untochable". In a fight where the blue eyed guy starts with the strongest Attack first, then starts to get tierd, needing to use a special Attack. He is stated as the winner of the fight, but then he dies by being slashed in half ... I would have 2 coins, but it's weird that it happened twice
