- The prosecution team that is seeking the death penalty for the Parkland school shooter continued to call the grieving relatives of the slain victims to read statements at Broward County court on Tuesday in Fort Lauderdale.
The way she said "She's as short as I am" really sounded like it was something she was used to saying all the time. God bless this poor women. She didn't deserve this.
No one should have to lose a child. But a Grandchild? No one ever expects that, no one should have to go through that either. Her family, I'm so sorry.

No mom should ever have to burry her baby...but a grandmother too? It's just AWFUL! Beyond heartbreaking. WE ALL have a responsibility to listen intently to each and every single one of these 17 victims stories. We all need to know their names and their stories. Forget the perp...his name, his story should never matter. His name is not who we should be seeing in headlines. All these beautiful kids and their families are who we need to continues to uplift, know, and memorize their legacy...this is how we can honor them. This is how they live on.

@Aysha Marks I don't know if it's shown in this exact video, but I've been watching the death penalty trial almost every day and he's spent a considerable amount of the time drawing. Including the past 2 days of impact statements. Also, last year, his defense team brought him, a 22/23 year old, colored pencils and a coloring book TO COURT. 🤦♀️

I could tell from the facial expressions the moments Alyssa’s mom was looking at the scumbag. The incredible amount of composure these grieving parents and families exhibited while sitting in the same room as the evil that murdered their loved one is nothing short of miraculous. God help them all

I have only 1 Grandaughter and, I love her like she was my own daughter. She has been so attached to her Nana. She was only 3 when she all of a sudden called me Nana. Tears ran down my face and, it was the best feeling ever! I could never live without my sweet pea. I feel for Alyssa's Gma. I can't imagine what she is going through. I pray for all these Families to heal and, may God bless them always 🙏🙏🙏💜💜💜

The last time our family put up a Christmas tree and decorations, was in 1995, my brother was murdered in 1996, and my/our life has never been the same.

i’m glad they say that the children were murdered as opposed to saying they died that day. There is a difference with just dying in your life being taken away from you when you are young and healthy. I ache for these families and watching that dad cry, I cannot imagine his pain.

A few years before this shooting, 2012, my daughter’s school had a bomb threat. You couldn’t imagine the hundreds of cars that showed up with parents rushing to get their children. It was chaos. We parents had heard of other school shootings in the past, and we weren’t going to sit idly by and wait.
