I bought this on Amazon in 2010 for $10 and have enjoyed it a lot over the years. All my plays lately have been on Yucata. Nice job on raising awareness of this fun older title.
I'm super happy to find your review of this game. I have found this recently, and was wondering how good it was. I tend to like these older euro style games, I am definitely checking out more in this series!
You really captured what makes Masons great while also showcasing why this is not going to appeal to everyone. Thanks for covering another Colovini classic! (Can't wait to hear your thoughts on Magna Grecia once you get that played.)
I played and loved Castello Methoni. Once I found out it was inspired by this game, I had to try it and found it on yucata. I’ve enjoyed many games on there. Found someone selling it at BGG con this year and I had to grab it.
greetings from Mexico. A month ago I found this game at a flea market for less than 5 dollars. With this video you convinced me that it was the right option. I preferred to buy this game instead of cards for an old tcg
Thank you for all the good videos. Have you played Castello Methoni? A game that uses the same pieces as Masons but play very diffently and more like a modern version of Acquire. Would love to see a video on that game 😊
I've had mixed reactions with this game. I liked how you mentioned you have to change your way of thinking that this game is too random where actually you have a lot of control on how and when you play your cards. Also timing your score..staying at the back but in touch gives you even more control of your hand of cards, Overall though, I'm happy I've held onto this game. I keep on looking at Staufer Dynasty behind you and think to myself, "please Darryl, I'd love to hear your opinion on this one day soon."
You told me not to buy a physical copy, but I found a shrink wrapped copy, played it tonight, and I regret nothing.
This looks great. Love the idea of having hands of scoring objectives.

Mmm it's smells good and the game is beautiful, thank's for the discovery

I definitely think it was the right choice! Though keep in mind I don’t much care for TCGs. 🙂
Thank you for covering this game. I just acquired this NIS a few weeks ago. Looking forward to trying it.

I do own the game! Not played yet, sadly... Too many games.

One day, yes! Not soon. 🙁
