This channel is easily one of my favourites. Not just in board gaming, but on the platform as a whole. The deep dives of games and your style of review is so wholesome and refreshing. Everything down to the little detail of having the game lid suspending in mid air during the discussion is great! If I ever visit Canada I'll be sure to pop by your Pizzeria.
Great review. I think I would probably enjoy this but there's no way I'd be able to convince anyone else in the group to play it. Hopefully it'll get a reprint at some stage.
You mean, what made me want to talk about it? For the reason you said! A classic, old game that most gamers have never heard of. But it's good! Certainly not the style of today's games, but I like the gameplay of these older games more than a lot of newer stuff.
That is the odd game that looks worse as you put more pieces out. A lot of older games look very bland at first but are a sea of primary colors by the end. This just looks so difficult to discern what is going on.
I tried this game once; It has great and tense gameplay but board and tiles design and colors are so hideous. This game has the worse art and publishing design; I have ever seen (I do not mind ugly and beige games). I could not believe they try our play this game before publishing it. Hopefully one day, This game gets a second chance with an art design for human eyes.

Wow, thanks so much for the kind words!
China Town behind you reminds me I need a round 2 with you and wow that Dice Tree collection is fantastic!
Ha ha, anytime! Well the OG guild has its Maispiele fest May 17-19. There'll be games going on many times. Maybe we can connect then!
Already excited! My most wanted video 👍👍👍👍
Bro, get the shrink off that copy of Genoa! It's such a great game!
In my defence, I have an old copy on a different shelf that *does* have the shrink off. 😁

The gameplay looks solid. At first it reminded me abit of Via Nebula, but it also seems quite different.
The game would be easy to republish for a modern audience: Simply rewrite the rulebook around a beekeeping theme. The map will make a perfect beehive.
Ooh, a nature theme! And with bees, they could even keep the yellow. 😁
I've been hoping for this to get a reprint too.
This ist a classic game pretty old, what did you make it introduce here in your review, a game that most gamers have never heard of!!???
